This review is overdue. On February 26th, I was in need of an electrician after half of my kitchens power went out. As an avid Yelper I searched for local electricians in my area. After reading multiple reviews and the high ratings I decided on Nicks Electric. I contacted Nick first thing in the morning and he immediately answered the phone after the first ring. I informed him of my issue and followed up with a text message giving him my address. He advised me that he would update me when one of his electricians was on their way to service my home. About an hour passed when I received a text message from one of his electricians named Daniel. He stated he had me on the schedule for service and wanted to know what time I would be available to receive him. After coordinating with him I received follow up messages from both Daniel and Nick advising me he (Daniel) was on his way to my house. Daniel arrived at my home and immediately began to inspect my kitchen and breakers to diagnose my problem. It was determined that too much electrical current was running through one circuit. This caused my breaker to trip and resistor to burn out. I needed to have a new circuit installed to prevent the overload usage of the kitchen appliances and common outlet areas. After receiving this diagnoses I was quoted $1,300 to have this work done. Daniel did a great job explaining the issue and what needed to be done. Any questions I had he answered. He was polite, professional, and very patient. He was careful while working and cleaned up after himself. I appreciated Nicks Electric service from beginning to end. My issue was fixed on the same day as early as possible. I appreciated not having much down time which allowed me to live my day to day. It has been almost 2 months since receiving service and everything has been perfect. Thank you, Daniel and Nick. You are my go to electricians whenever I need you. read more

Hired Nick to replace a fuse box with a circuit breaker panel. My impression is that he took shortcuts instead of doing the job correctly. Subtracted 1 star for installing the panel and breakers upside down. Subtracted 1 star because the main power wire is riding hard against the inside of the metal box. No star subtracted for leaving a 3 inch long drywall screw on my driveway or charging a 3% fee for using a card for payment. read more

Nick totally bailed me out today after another electrician flaked on me earlier today. I had an issue with some wiring in my bathroom and Nick was able to make time in his schedule, late in the day, to come check it out. This would've been an after hours call but Nick didn't charge anything extra. He and Mario came out and it took a bit of doing but they tracked down the issue and promptly took care of it. They were total pros about it all and Nick kept me informed the whole way thru of what was going on, what the issue was, and what they were doing to fix it all. At the end of the job they made sure my bathroom lighting worked the way it was supposed to and checked for any other potential problems - everything a trained electrician should do! I will not hesitate on hiring Nick again.
