Eat here for lunch everyday. Food is decent.. he's at the bottom of a building and hard to find but food is good and a lot of variety.

Just stopped here for the first time and so glad I did. I had the BLT on naan bread which was delicious. It's a very cute café with friendly service. Lots of yummy sounding things on the menu so I will definitely be back. Thank you, Nick! read more

The lease was up for my employer's office space so my boss decided to move us to this building where Nick's Cafe is located. Though I'm going to miss free pizza only steps away, Nick's Cafe is off to a great start in satisfying my workday cravings. Open at 7am until 3pm, food is made to order and so far seems to be plentiful for the price. At the end of our first week, my officemate & I finally decided to check out Nick's Cafe. The building is undergoing interior renovations, so we have to take the elevator to another floor for restrooms anyway, and we took that opportunity to pick up lunch on Friday. Since it was around 2pm, I skipped coffee, though I was delighted to see their flavorful coffee offerings. Their food menu isn't huge, but lots of items caught my eye so I'm excited to try other things in the future. And if I can get to work before 11am, their breakfast looks like a great deal at $4! My order on this first visit was their Cuban sandwich, because I was enticed by the inclusion of all three meats (pork, ham & salami). Though my sandwich was pressed, the bread was ciabatta, and I'm pretty sure the cheese was white American & not Swiss. Plus the pickle was a lengthwise wedge as a side item, like Any Deli, USA. All that aside, this was a very large tasty sandwich and I'll definitely order it again. But probably earlier in the week because I could only get through half and the other half is still uneaten in my home fridge. My sandwich also came with a bag of chips. The couple working behind the counter was super friendly and also moving fast to fulfill orders (not sure if they're a COUPLE) so the line moved quickly and our wait was pleasant. They recognized that my officemate & I were new tennants immediately which was kinda creepy but also very cool. Obviously they have a semi-captive customer base but in this era of food delivery it's also obvious they're keeping the bar high with fresh food and great service. And even though I'm usually one to bring leftovers or eat a protein bar for lunch, I'm sure I'll be visiting Nick's Cafe often. read more

The owner is a machine! He hammers out orders flawlessly no matter how busy it is! I have tried a handful of different menu items and I have never been disappointed. I am a self proclaimed Cuban sandwich connoisseur. Everywhere I go I always try their Cuban. Nicks cafe has a top 5 tier Cuban sandwich! The bread is perfectly toasted where the outside has a crisp layer. Then the inside is still soft. Abundant and perfectly melted cheese! Not to mention the $8.99 price! Great lunchtime portion that doesn't have you over full and wishing for a nap! I am in this place MULTIPLE times a week. I highly recommend this place! read more

Nick's Cafe is a great place tucked into an office building just off of 19. We were staying close by and someone recommended we check it out; I'm glad we did! We came for breakfast and ordered a coffee and a Good Morning breakfast sandwich. We went with egg and sausage on a Cuban roll. First off, the sandwich was big! I mean, for under $4 this thing was massive. Not to mention delicious. If anything, we were a little surprised by how much we got for how little we paid. The coffee was had was good; no complaints there. Nick and his wife run the establishment and they're very friendly people. Everything is made to order so it can take a bit for them to make things. But it's worth the wait. It's fresh, tasty and not processed. I would love to come back for lunch sometime. We opted to eat in and noticed a steady stream of office workers coming in for breakfast and taking their order back with them. Try it out! Nick's is in a unique location and it's a nice difference from a typical quick service breakfast/coffee place. read more

This was first day at my new job and I was told by my employer there's a cafe I could eat at which I brought my prepped meal. The manager or whoever decided to tell me once I had already sat down while I was ALMOST done with my meal that since I wasn't eating their food I couldn't eat solely because he didn't want people who wasn't buying his food there. First of all HAVE A SIGN OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR IF YOU DONT WANT PEOPLE IN THERE NOT EATING YOUR FOOD SINCE EVERYONE IS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THEY CAN EAT THERE IDIOT. Secondly if it was such a big deal WHY DIDNT YOU SAY SOMETHING BEFORE I SAT DOWN AND PRETTY MUCH FINISHED MY MEAL TO SAY SOMETHING WHEN YOU STARED AT ME PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE TIME WHEN YOU COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING TO BEGIN WITH SO I WOULD HAVE ATE OUTSIDE. I rushed out of there so fast I accidentally dropped the rest of my meal on the floor. Very good food. Reasonably priced. Working in the same building as Nick's Cafe this entire week. Today is Wednesday. I ate lunch here for the third consecutive time today. I plan on eating lunch here tomorrow and the next day. There are numerous other options within seconds of Nick's Cafe. My decision to eat here is not a matter of convenience. The food is so good I see no reason to go elsewhere. My favorites so far are a chicken wrap with feta cheese and the Cobb salad. Food is made to order so be prepared to wait three to five minutes. It is worth the wait. In response to Matthew J.'s one-star review... Today I was charged $6.99 for a chicken and feta wrap that was bursting at the seams and a Diet Coke. Price seemed reasonable to me. Finally, I believe Nick is originally from Bulgaria. Some heated back and forth between a Bulgarian man and his wife/son is far from unusual. The mood during my three visits to date was calm and friendly. But a raised voice or two between family members of Eastern European descent would not rankle me.
