Since our first review which was covered the remodel of our master bathroom 5 years ago, we…read morerecently had Sobi do an extensive remodel of 3 other bathrooms, living & dining rooms, and connecting entry and hallways. Sobi is so attentive to details. The project will go slower then you might have envisioned, and the trade off is worth it! Sobi genuinely cares about his workmanship. This is reflected what you can see and also behind the scenes regarding structural or functional integrity. He also makes follow-up return visits that he never forgets to do to address touch-up issues. In the end he cares as much about your project and satisfaction as you do. Really!

The project included a new large kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, a laundry room, replacement windows and living space remodel. We were not the easiest of clients - Aaron and foreman Mark were great. They are professional and experienced. I would recommend ACB. We talked to multiple contractors - all of which were pricey - it is construction and California afterall. ACB was our pick and we are happy with their work.

I asked Mark who was the primary contact on the remodel if he could have his cabinet man come over and do the work for us when he was at their house. Instead Mark came over himself and did the work and refused to take any money for it. I think that what Mark did speaks highly of the company and am writing this review. I am again stating that Mark never asked for reimbursement for what he did and refused any which I offered twice.

TLDR, they charged almost $400 to tighten 1 leaky faucet and flush our electric water heater, and didn't fix the other leak or the cloudy water. They were at the house for about an hour and 45 minutes of that was spent sitting in their car watching videos on their phone. At the end, they told me everything was fixed as they were headed out the door to get the invoice, and I had to ask them to wait so we could check everything. When we checked and found that things were not actually fixed, they basically told me "oh well that's not my problem, and if you want us to come back out with parts then you'll need to pay for another 2 hours". And because they flushed the water heater, the minimum bill was $375, even though they only spent an hour at the house. Terrible customer service, terrible work, and really bad experience overall. In my requested scope, they also complete rat proofing and added a new attic access, with new batt insulation secured to the top of the hatch, as well as a barrier of wood planks and batt insulation to prevent the blown in insulation from falling out of the hatch whenever it's opened. I would have never thought that a home remodel project could be enjoyable, but this was! Odyssey Builders employs workers who are not only skilled, but personable, understanding, friendly, and considerate of you and your space within the home as they are working. Our projects were completed on time or ahead of schedule. No complaints. Choosing to work with Brannan and his company was a no brainer. We appreciated his laidback attitude while also being upfront with his projected costs and schedule. Having numerous projects that needed redoing at the same time, we found his insight into ways to effectively cut costs while still maintaining the function and the aesthetic of our small bathroom invaluable. We met with multiple contractors before deciding who to work with on both of our bathrooms. Brannan and Oddyssey Builders were not only the most cost effective but far and away the most trustworthy people we met with during the quoting process. They didn't try to upsell us anything or talk about large overhead design features we didn't need. Brannan took time to have lengthy discussions with us up front about different options we had to lower costs to make our remodels what we wanted within our budget. It was an incredibly personable experience compared to simple impersonal sales pitches w/out in-depth discussions we had with other contractors. We trusted Brannan to carry out our vision of the projects within our budget and he delivered 100%. The results are beautiful. Two different bathrooms, each dramatically improved from what was there before while displaying our personal taste and adding some character to our home. We really love how much we were able to drive the design of the bathrooms with Brannan's guidance on the different tradeoffs of options for each decision. The final bathroom products are beautiful, polished and satisfy all of our needs and desires. We love them and feel like we couldn't have ended up with anything better if we did anything differently. 10 out of 10!

We reached out to RC General through their yelp page and got a response within five minutes Jessica was quick to call and schedule us for an appointment within 48 hours She listened to our needs and discussed possible scenarios before offering us a free consultation with a site visit and estimate Unfortunately, we have an older home with something called T11 siding and some rotten window and door trim around the home She explained that this was called dry rot, and that it can spread if not treated Ryan came out to our home, was not only on time but arrived early and waited in his truck until our 12 o'clock appointment Ryan walked the entire property with us and found multiple other areas that had issues as well as areas that needed attention to prevent future damage Ryan explained to us that what we can see on the surface is not necessarily the full extent of the issues He was very clear about possible dry, rot in the framing and siding below the trim He offered us a few options as well as a clear and concise estimate It was impossible for him to realize what could be going on behind the window trim He gave us a very fair price and suggested some quality products which we could apply ourselves such as caulking, primer, and paint to prevent any additional damage As he suspected there was areas that required additional work was unforeseen at the time Unlike many other contractors, who would jack up their prices, he did the additional repairs at a very fair rate and helped us save some money in the process Of course, there are always things that come up during maintenance, remodels, and construction work, which will be surprises and you can't always know what the total cost will be until you expose it and get into the problem to find a solution We appreciate his expertise, Advice and communication throughout the entire process We will certainly use RC General again in the future. It's nice to know that not everyone is out to collect fees for estimates and Ryan's prices for change orders were very fair. He also came back after other jobs and on the weekends to ensure we could have this additional work wrapped up asap so it would be sealed and safe for the upcoming rains. They cleaned up each day, swept off our roof, and Even ran a magnet through our yard and driveway to ensure no nails or metal debris was left around since we have children at the house and pets who tend to stick things in their mouth. Special thanks to Ryan and his team, as well as Jessica in the office.

He started November 2025 and finished July 2026. Things were fine at first, he did a nice job in bath number 1. (Even though it took over 2 months) We don't know what happened, but second bath his quality and detail work went downhill big time. He wasn't even going to put anything over a piece of wood on top of shower wall. We asked about it, "aren't you going to put matching shower tile up there." He replied "we didn't talk about that and it's not seen up there." Well it may not be seen but it's a bathroom with moisture. He put an Uneven cut piece of metal strip up there that doesn't even touch wall-to-wall evenly. So husband is still going to have to caulk to get a tight fit, so moisture doesn't get in and give us mold. He seemed to care about his quality of work in bathroom number one, but in bathroom number two he didn't seem to care at all. I would NOT recommend this guy at all. If you are doing a one day job for a hot water heater then maybe, but a long-term job definitely not.! I have pictures to prove how is work went downhill comparing both bathrooms. I hate to leave this review, but it's necessary as we paid a lot of money and did not get a professional job in bathroom number two which is our master bathroom so that was sad.
