I bought 2 FEDERAL BLACK PACK bulk cases of 300 blackout ammunition.Expecting to get a 20.00 rebate from the factory.I sent in the upc codes with the form Nichols had given me and waited more that 10 weeks and didn't hear from a thing I called Federals rebate center and was told that rebate had ended.I feel like I have been a victim of FRAUD. I would think twice before doing business with Nichols Store or Buy any Federal brand ammunition.I consider them CROOKS and would not trust them to stand behind and of their merchandice! read more

I purchased a new Cushman Hauler from Nichols Store in 2021 for about $9,000. Nichols is a Cushman dealer. It has been driver less than 20 miles since I purchased it. This spring it began choking out and would not run so I took it to Nichols for repair. They kept it for months blaming the manufacturer for back ordered parts and finally called me at the end of August to pick it up. They charged me almost $600 for the repair. Now, it is having the exact same issue so i took it back to Nichols. Last week Nichols called me to pick it up. When I arrived, they told me that they could not fix it and told me to take it to Carolina Golf Carts. WOW! Before I posted this review I emailed Nichols last week asking for a response, but they never even replied to my email. I certainly would not buy anything else at this store. read more

My husband and I stopped at this gun shop on the way back from Charlotte. The store is a lot bigger than I thought it would be and they had a huge selection for anything you were looking at. My husband was in heaven! Overall, the best thing about the place is the customer service. Bought a Glock a couple days ago and went back today with my wife & M.I.L. and we all were extremely satisfied with both the products and customer service. Dealt with Josh (gun dept.) and Jeff (grill/smoker dept.) and both of those guys know what they're talking about. Aside from their knowledge, both were personable and professional. Got a bite to eat before going home with a Traeger smoker and a couple of other items (all quality products) and couldn't be happier. I decided to buy a Traeger grill in April2020. I noticed Nichols store was a platinum dealer. It was important to me I bought from company that was authorized to sell AND fix grills. I live pretty far from the store as I'm in Monroe,NC so I wasn't sure they would deliver to me. I called and spoke to Jonathan and told him the smoker I was interested in and asked about delivery. He was very nice and said there was no problem delivering it. They did the seasoning stage for me before delivery. Him and a young gentleman walked me through how use it and how to take care of the grill. He was very thorough and he didn't rush thru it. Fast forward almost exactly a year later, I started to notice a problem in the preheating stage and there was a clicking sound. With the help of Traeger customer service they submitted service order for Nichols Store. Jonathan reached out to me the same day and there was no fussing or avoidance of wanting to help. He told me he would be in my area in a few days and he would pick up the grill and get it fixed. While he had the grill he sent me a couple of status updates which was also great. He had the grill for about a week b/c they had to wait on Traeger to get them the part. He was very thorough ran it through a few cycles at different temps to make it was working properly and delivered it back to me. Jonathan and the young man (wish i got his name) with him were very nice and provided great customer service. It definitely pays to buy these types of smokers from a dealer. I would totally recommend Nichols Store and Jonathan if you are in need of a smoker or grill. read more

A friend told me about this place, so I decided to make the drive south of Rock Hill to check it out. Wow! This place is like Bass Pro Shop or Gander Mountain only home owned and in Rock Hill. This place has come a long way in the past 10 years. If you haven't been, it is a must trip. You name it, they probably have it, this is not a discount store, you pay for what you get, and the knowledge behind it. Not some 17 year old kid in a typical chain store. I had an issue getting my crossbow worked on. They lost track of it. Then they couldn't locate my scope. Told me it was ready and when I showed up it was still in pieces. When I asked them for a bill they could not give me one so they wouldn't let me leave with it. Then they told me they would email me an invoice. All together a poorly run business. Manager was in effective and the kids they employee are extremely unprofessional. I will never spend another dollar in that place again. If I can't get it online I would rather drive a little further and use a more professional store. read more
