Popped in for Shea butter as I've needed to ramp up the moisture with all the hand washing going on due to coronavirus. I've been frequenting this business since the Flatbush & Fulton days but kinda fell back once they stopped selling the Shea moisture hair product I was buying exclusively from them. However I do pop in from time to time when strolling Fulton St and must say this place is still solid! Still reliable and trustworthy. While the business may have evolved a bit the "soul" of the place is still strong and that is comforting.

Healing Circle Tuesday is a go! You have to go to Debarah for Reiki! Every Tuesday Nicholas has Healing Circles where you can come and release negative energy and take advantage of the massive array of spiritual guides in the store to help you explore your spirituality deeper. Their book collection and natural body/hair care collection is awesome. They also have a good collection of stones. I could use a bit more array of stones but I think I come when they are sold out of the stones I am looking for. I will definitely continue to go back to Nicholas.

I first stopped in Nicholas Brooklyn in search for some natural products and herbal oils. After searching up and down Fulton Avenue the name of the store looked quite familiar as they used to be in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. The location has moved here and it is still a good store with good products like oils, hair essentials, candles, afro-centric products, incense and much more. If you are in the area I recommend going in and see what they have especially if you are into all natural, organic and eco friendly products for you and your home.

Game Night at my second home in Brooklyn sponsored by Nay Marie of Taji Mag & Will Focus. Jenga was dope, but it all came crashing down. Now on to Uno! Next is Taboo. Got my incense and Now brand (aluminum free) deodorant. Come support black business.

Now what can i say about Nicholas Brooklyn?.....I love it!! The people in there are friendly and polite. I was invited by Monique for Open Mic. I was surprise of the crowd and the talent that was in there, poets, singers, rapper and comedy. I was also surprise of the things they sell, from Fashion, Aroma therapy product, Jewelry and more. They also host events, Fund Raisers as well as open Mic. Love it, Love it, Love it. Thank you Monique and you have found a forever fan.

Open Mic night with great people!

I like that she let me know she was there but, wasn't like obtrusive. The small textile shop is stocked to the brim with beautiful items. I found unique gifts like refurbished saris that were made into blankets and gorgeous Mexican textiles. The store had tons of stuff to add color and excitement to your abode or perfect hostess gift. For example, they sell Turkish towels, candles, bedding, and other fun things. In the back of the store, they have a generous clearance section if you are looking for a gift on a budget but, prices were reasonable.

Was out hunting for Christmas ornaments and we happened upon this great little home store…read more They had a great variety of ornaments at all price ranges and we bought some more practical ones and some really adorable and fun ones (santa velociraptor and a merman!) The rest of the store was just as cool and had lots of fun Brooklyn themed kitchen and dining paraphernalia. We bought some cute towels and will definitely be back for more fun stuff. It's so great to find interesting and beautiful items for the home that aren't ridiculously over-priced. Staff was very friendly as well : )!
