My husband and I have become pedicure regulars here. The price has gone to $35, which is still quite reasonable. Hot stones and a sugar scrub are included. He has seriously rough feet and they do a great job going after the dead skin. They do a good and thorough job in a clean environment. Plus, most of the technicians speak English. I've been going to Nice Nails for 6 or 7 years. I think they're very nice. They're professional, accommodating & friendly. I hadn't had a pedi or mani in at least a year due to the pandemic; they have plexi-glass between chairs & between the staff & client, I felt very safe. I got a pedicure here just before my son was born. I went with a friend so I wasn't paying attention to all they were doing, I just enjoyed the time with her. After the baby was born and I went to change the polish and trim my nails, I found quite a mess. They'd filed the surface of my nails as you would to apply acrylic nails. There was a ridge marking new growth that hadn't been filed down. A few of the nails had begun separating from the nail bed due to the trauma of the filing. There were white marks left behind. None of this was here before the pedicure. Now I have to wait the six to nine months for the nails to grow out and hope they don't continue to further separate from the nail bed. There must be better places locally that don't leave behind this aftermath. read more

Totally depends on who you get. David did my pedicure my first time in and heals & toes looked great. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name so could not ask for him by name. Today I went in and Mary did my pedicure. No hello, basically i got a color change for $25. Debated what kind of tip to leave, but would never consider not tipping (ok, it crossed my mind). When I handed her a tip and said Thank You, she stuck it in her bin and didn't even acknowledge me. WTH! If this was my first time in I would never return. read more

Very dirty and unprofessional. My pedicure was terrible. Every toenail was a different length and I had to ask her to make them even. It was fast and they barely massaged my feet. Lots of other places to go in Venice. read more

Terrible pedicure - they guy nipped my big toe cuticle big time and left it bleeding under the dryer so it bubbled up. Dry blood all around my big toe nail, had to scrub it clean in the shower. Sprayed it with Bactine right away, was afraid of infection from the tools he used when bleeding. Nothing sanitary about his tools - Will not be back! read more

I almost did not go today due to the reviews but I am so thankful I did not take the reviews seriously for a change. Holly gave me the best pedi and mani I have ever received. Her attention to detail was amazing! My nails after my mani were so shiny without polish. I got my eyebrows waxed too. Such precision and detail! Great job everyone! I will be a customer as long as I live in Venice! Most reasonable pricing I have encountered as I usually went to Sarasota! I am so glad I ventured out and found my new nail professionals! You know when you go to some nail salons and everyone is giggling and whispering in Korean and you feel really uncomfortable ? This was my experience today -- i asked a few questions , no one answered me but they chattered away in Korean and giggled . When i got out of there , i discovered they had actually missed painting one of my toes!! I normally would have noticed that but i was so uncomfortable i just couldn't wait to leave. What a total waste of $45 plus tip and obviously pedicures are supposed to be relaxing . Really the rudest nail salon i have ever been to. Service is excellent, friendly, clean and comfortable with good value for the price.

I have been here three times and have had gel nails, pedicures and eyebrow wax. All are done professionally and reasonably priced. I have always been a walk-in so have had different people, but all have done a good job. I have never had to wait, but I go during the week, early or mid-day. The pedicure chair is a massage chair. The gel nails lasted more than three weeks without chipping. There is off-street parking. read more

It was there for the first time in July for a manicure and pedicure. The salon was dirty, I did not see any proper hygiene methods being used. The pedicure chair I sat at was not sanitized. The nail station that I sat at was covered in nail dust. The young man who did my pedicure and manicure used dirty and nail utensils and buffers and did not follow any hygiene procedures at all. Not sanitary. I had a pedicure and manicure at this salon. They do not properly sanitize tools or pedicure tubs between customers. My nail technician pulled her nail tools out of a case marked "clean". When she was done using them on my hands, I watched her dip the tools in water and place them back in the same case marked "clean". I saw no one on staff use the tool sanitizing machine that is in the middle of the salon. Go somewhere else. read more
