the level of unprofessionalism & audacity I received today from Nice Nails Rocky Mount is really the straw that broke the camels back for me. My last 4 appointments have been canceled/rescheduled every single time whether it's them needing me to come in earlier or just plain out scheduling for another day all because they don't feel like doing it! My usual is Vi & she does amazing work & the price is good. She unfortunately has went to just working Mondays at this location and I had an appointment set with her this past Monday. A lady called me and lied to me telling me she was not coming in due to it "being cold" .. mind you someone I know was currently in there getting her nails done by Vi. I once again allowed them to reschedule me to today with someone other than Vi. The lady proceeded to call me today with the same ol "can you come earlier" when I've explained several times I don't get off until 5/5:30. She agreed to still do 5:30. I missed my daughter's basketball practice and arranged her dad to take her and left work early to get there on time. All for the lady to cut the lights and flip the sign before 5:30! I called to leave a voicemail letting them know how upset I was and the lady had the nerve to answer it while standing at the door and tell me she was leaving and I was late. Needless to say I went offfffff. They don't even close until 7pm or that's what their website says.. I'm very upset about it because I didn't want my nails done, I NEEDED them done. They lost a customer and my recommendation to other people as this is not how you treat paying customers who are always early & patiently waits 45 minutes after their appointment to even get started on... I have been more than understanding, more than patient & more than accommodating with this business. not no more. read more

Pulled in the parking lot of Nice Nails and a male employee was setting in a chair on the outside talking on the phone. As soon as I parked car, the employee got up and went inside. When I entered there was only one female employee working and she was with a customer . She asked what I was getting, and I responded a full set. She proceeded to the back and when she came back she said she was sorry but we do not have time. It was only 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. It was clear to me , the phone call was more important than the customer. Also, as soon as I got into the car the female employee had finished with her customer. I will NEVER go there again. read more
