We stayed in Room 2 on the second floor, very handsomely appointed in aqua and coffee tones, with silver accents. The room was lovely and very comfortable, both the bedroom and the en suite bathroom. I enjoyed reading a book in the chair by the window. The backyard was another highlight. There is a small deck, a fireplace, an English-style walking garden, and a main seating area with candles and comfortable camp chairs. In warm weather, it's perfect either for unwinding or for extending a gathering at the end of the day. Apparently the proprietor brings food in the morning? I was not awake in time to witness this; perhaps it is the breakfast fairy. In any case, the spread was noteworthy: besides the drinks, snacks, yogurt, fruit, and cereal available around the clock, there were uncooked eggs, miniature bagels, coffee cake or banana bread, and a variety of seasonal fruit. No matter how heterogeneous your group, everyone will find something to satisfy him- or herself. Sometimes it's the little things--such as the rubber duck in the shower stall, the small fish tank on the kitchen counter, and the soft jazz CD playing in the living room on our arrival. There was a basket of highly watchable DVD movies and a shelf of local-interest books. But the important things stand out too: the entire place was immaculate and the proprietors seem to take good care of both the property and the guests. This is a very strong 4.5. Some of our housemates were staying there for the third time, and I would not hesitate to return with them next time.

I had the most amazing time! Beautiful room, lovely shared common area, responsive hosts/staff. My…read morefriend and I were going to hit a bar after dinner, but once we checked in we decided we'd rather come back, change into robes, eat the complimentary cookies and popcorn, and watch Top Gun (one of the many DVDs available)! The kitchen has filtered water from the fridge, keurig coffee, microwave, and dishes. There are snacks like popcorn, crackers, yogurt, and cereal available all day. In the morning, they put out a fresh pastry (different and delicious each day!), toast, beautiful fresh fruit, and hard boiled eggs. The room had a hair dryer, bar soap, makeup wipes, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We also had a smart tv so I could log into my own Hulu account. There is a pretty park and lots of little shops and restaurants within walking distance, including a major grocery store. Could not have imagined a better place...I wish I lived there!

Which is good, because the televisions don't work & they'll fix them sometime between now & when you leave. So when no one contacted me about the TV by noon the next day, I used their online chat (all the better for the millennials not to interact with humans) who told me they'd be out in 24-48 hours. 10 minutes later I get a text they're coming by to fix it. Hours later another text. It's fixed, use the large remote. No apology, no gee how can we fix this. Nada. Tonight, all the on-street parking is full so we went to the "convenient self-park nearby" they recommend. IT'S THE F'ING HOSPITAL Stay Alfred Vacation Rentals - Like for people who are sick. Not for your clients. Customer service is hard to reach and impotent. Perhaps an old-school hotel really is still the most reliable way to go. Additionally, the decor is like millennials playing house went shopping at Target. The floors have no sound deadening under the faux-wood, which means the upstairs neighbors who wear concrete shoes to go feed the meter at 6 am (which you will want to do if you don't want a ticket nor to park at the HOSPITAL, SEE ABOVE) and our new upstairs neighbors seem to have square dancing toddlers. Additionally, the building will leave snotty notes on your door that you are not to have any guests in your room who are not on the reservation and spending the night. All in all a pretty sucky experience..

Now the cons: my room was half cleaned, the cable didn't work in one room and the internet didn't work. I called the virtual "front desk" and they told me there was nothing they could do until the next morning because the local staff had already gone home. They said they would put in a ticket and someone would be out in the morning. When I called in the morning, I was told that they would be there between 10am and 11am. When no one showed, I called again at 11:40am. They said actually it would be between 11am and 3pm because it is based on the cleaning schedule. At this time, they did tell me how to fix the internet, apparently it had not been configured to StayAlfred yet so it was a different internet name. So I called at 3:05pm when no one had arrived. They said actually there was a mistake, someone will be there the next day between 11am and 3pm. I stated well I am scheduled to check out that next day. They said well they typically only scheduled to clean before and after a stay, not daily, as they are not a hotel so I should not get them confused with a hotel. I advise them that I was not expecting daily cleaning, just a clean room when I check in. Everyone I spoke to up to this point was less than accommodating or even apologetic. I asked them could I at least be moved to a clean room since they couldn't get anyone out to clean my room. This person transferred me to Sam in reservationists and this was the first nice person I had spoken to! He was so very apologetic and very nice. He said that there were other rooms available but had to be approved by guest services. He said there is a bit of a wait but he would put notes on my account. So he transferred me over, they prompt asked I wanted a call back so I took that. After an hour, I hadn't heard back so I called Guest Services back. They answered and said they could make the change. They said they could but they only available would be a 2 bedroom and I would have to pay the difference. I asked if there was a credit or partial refund that I could receive at the very least that could cover the difference. He said no that anything related to my stay would have to be covered post-visit (even this was not guaranteed) and I would have to pay the difference upfront. So I said okay and he put me on hold. The line disconnected and I called back. When I called back I spoke with Sarah would completed my change. I asked her what is the number to call back for the issues I've had with this visit to call after I've left. She said they could actually handle this now. She looked at my account and she said the notes said someone had already been to my room. I ended up having to tell her the whole story all over again and she read through the notes as well (I'm assuming). She said she could only offer me half off of the first night, which would cover the difference in the room. The StayAlfred customer service is much less than accommodating. I really wish they would have offered me to change rooms from the moment I told them my room was dirty. But I was stuck in a dirty room with no internet and no cable in one room until 5pm the next day, which was half of my stay. Almost I talked to didn't think it was a big deal that my room wasn't clean and one person I talked to said that local team told them the room was clean. No, the bed was made and the detergent was replaced and that was the extent of it. I know this even MORE to be true because the room I was eventually switched to was much cleaner. Trash taken out, bathroom was clean(er), bedrooms were clean(er) and it had trash bags and dishwasher pods. I'm not sure who cleans their rooms and I was told because of the COVID, the cleaning crew was being taught extra measures but there were still a couple stray hairs in the shower of the new room and on the pillows as well. The second bathroom also smelled a bit mildewy but not nearly as bad as my previous room. I was so over it at this point. This was probably this worst time to come here but I am not able to move into my apartment yet so I need a room in-between. I have someone to stay with for a few days and then I have another stay booked (at a different location) for a week. They aren't offering refunds, only credits even during this time. They will refund your money if they can get your room re-rented but people are cancelling their reservations left and right so I would be out of luck. I might as well stay. It was a good price with great reviews. I can't say that this is the standard experience but I did not have a good or even decent experience with their customer service.

It offers all the amenities you would expect to find from the bar to the fitness room. I was upstairs for the event space. The room was crowded for the event but then again there was probably over 400 ladies there for that fitness sampler event alone. I was impressed by the venue, I know many didn't like how small spaces and maybe The Westin would be up your alley if you need a bigger space. This hotel was designed with class I can tell. I even heard they have a rooftop area where many events take place as well. Props to the architect that came up with The Junto. I like the idea here. I will have to book a nights stay soon!

The Junto has officially become our benchmark for what a great hotel experience should feel like…read more We came back for a two night stay over my birthday in early November and somehow it raised the bar again. This place does more than hand you a room key. It creates a whole little world you actually want to live in for a few days. The lobby feels like an enormous, stylish living room... warm lighting, a fire going, comfortable seating clusters, art on the walls, and people actually hanging out instead of just passing through. Mornings start at Maudine's, the in-house coffee shop and bakery off the main floor. Great espresso drinks, genuinely good pastries, and just enough personality to make it feel like a real neighborhood spot rather than a hotel afterthought. We grabbed coffee there both mornings and it set the tone for the day. During this stay we leaned hard into the food and drink options on property. Lunch and happy hour in the lower bar were excellent... well made cocktails, shareable plates, and staff who are actually present and tuned in. Later at night we headed up to Brass Eye for a nightcap. It has that perfect rooftop energy. Big views of the city, great music volume, and a "we're happy you're here" vibe instead of a scene you have to work to impress. The suite we stay in with the oversized tub feels like it was designed specifically for us. Spacious, modern, and romantic without trying too hard. The tub is huge. The shower is generous. The bed is incredibly comfortable. There are plugs where you actually need them. The window seating area is perfect for reading, talking, or just watching the city hum outside. It is one of those rare hotel rooms that makes you want to stay in as much as you go out. What really keeps us coming back though is the way we are treated. Every interaction, from the door staff to the front desk to housekeeping, feels grounded and human. Not scripted. Not fake. Just people who seem genuinely invested in making your stay great. On a birthday trip, that kind of care lands even harder. Each visit ends up feeling more magical than the last. The Junto is stylish without being cold, polished without being stiff, and thoughtful in all the right ways. If you are coming to Columbus and want a hotel that delivers on design, food, drinks, and real hospitality... stay here. This is the one.

**Sorry for the long review, but it's worth the read**…read more Where do I start. I decided to book with uniglobe due to the high ratings and the costumer satisfaction with Miriam. My husband and I were planning our 10 year vowel renewal in St. Lucia. 3 weeks after collecting our deposits to use their services Miriam decided to walk away from the company to start her own travel agency. At this point all invitations were sent to 60+ guest who were contacting Miriam. I was told I would be working with Denise who would assure that my guest would be forwarded to her through Miriam's email. After service family and friends reaching out to tell us how they were unable to make deposits or payments, we were then told that Denise was ill and was having issues with completing the work task. At this time we are a few months into the process, and begin to get frustrated as our guest continued to voice concerned. After several weeks of decrease communication we were told that Denise would not be able to complete our travel needs so we needed to work with a Brian. At this point this is 3 different agents we are working with, and things begin to get confusing, in addition to emails not being answered, phone calls not returned, etc. At this point we decided to cancel our entire vacation and renewal. I was devastated. I had spent so much time and energy thinking and planning how I wanted to celebrate this time with family and friends. I decided to email the company's CEO Elizabeth McCormick, who set up a zoom and listened to our grievances. We were told they would attempt to get our money refunded, and for a month we continue to get delayed responses on how they would make this right. I decided to call funjet who they use to book vacations and was told Uniglobe had never called to request any refunds. I received a fraction of the money I spent on a travel credit, family and friends money lost, and no renewal planned. I was told by others who have used this company that they spend their time working on bigger contracts such as OSU. I am extremely disappointed in this company, and was eager to spend money with a female minority owned business. Spend your dollar how you want, but good businesses do right by ALL their clients. I do not recommend this company or the agents who work for them.

Aram and Jaime were both grossly unprofessional and rude when I called to complain about our furnace not working (it's currently 30° outside and 36° inside our home) and to complain about them raising our rent RETROACTIVELY (for two months) and Aram told me they will proceed with eviction proceedings, claiming we were late on paying rent. We've lived here for over a year and have NEVER been late paying rent and the past few months have been no exception to this. I contacted the OWNER of the property and he assured me that we will NOT be evicted and he agreed that Aram and Jaime were very unprofessional. If you want threats of eviction for making a complaint, these might be the folks for you. If not, you might want to look elsewhere. We are absolutely going to be filing suit against this slumlord management company. Their ONE STAR rating on Yelp speaks for itself. When was the last time you saw a ONE STAR review for ANY business?! I don't think I've ever seen that until now.
