Jing is the man! Everyone at Nice Guy Tattoo is very nice and knowledgeable! I always feel like family when I walk through the doors. Jing has done all of my tattoos and I will keep going to him for more. Nice Guy is always clean and presentable and I never feel like my health is ever compromised here. This is the place to go! read more

When someone starts talking to me about the angle at which your eyes are going to perceive the features of my chosen tattoo, I know I've come to a place that takes their work very seriously. After being tattooed by Jing, I realized the spirt of the tattoo meant as much to him as it did to me. I liked that. Jing explained the whole process from inception to completion in such detail that I left his shop with more than a passing knowledge of what goes into a good tattoo. There's too much to cover here, but the guy knows his stuff and appears to be a clean freak about his work, not a bad thing in a tattoo shop. Jerry Lopez read more

I've been going to Nice Guy since they first opened. I've had Tom (Haubs) do my full left sleeve, chest piece, rib piece, so I have alot of experience with this shop. Great atmosphere, great group of guys working there and great artists! They all do amazing work and this shop is one of the best! read more

I've gone to Nice guy tattoo for all of my work and I couldn't be happier with the quality, customer service and just overall fun that I have there when just hanging out with everyone. Tom Haubs and Jing have done my work...but all artists there have amazing talent, so be sure to check them out I will continue to give them my business...there's no doubt about that read more

Nice Guy tattoo is the best tattoo location I cpuld have asked for. I can't even count the amount of compliments I've gotten on his work! Jings done all of my tattoos and I keep going back for a reason! He does an extemely good job preping for the tats and executes even better. Jing definately knows his stuff when it comes to tattoos and the ways lines and shading work to make them look as realistic and good as possible. He's going to be my artist for the forseeable future no doubt! read more

Called in for an appointment and Jing was very friendly and helpful over the phone. When I came in on the day of my appointment and gave him an idea of the tattoo I wanted, he went to design it for me and it came out better than what I had envisioned in my mind. Very professional and friendly, Jing made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. His work is remarkable and he works very professionally. The price was very reasonable because I have two other tattoos that were done at another shop that are way smaller and more expensive. I wish I came here for my previous tattoos. Jing is so friendly and detail oriented that it makes the experience great. I love the tattoo design and the shading - it's amazing!! If you want to get a tattoo done, please come to this shop. I will definitely come back for future ink. read more

I had a half sleeve done last year by Tom Haubs. Great dude, great tattoo. The shop was clean and had a welcome atmosphere. I was in for 3 sittings and I did a bit of people watching. No matter how dumb a request from walk in's, these guys were all nice and treated all inquiries equally. I was impressed. read more

All around great tattoo shop. Clean and inviting. And if you're going to be sitting there for hours getting work done you won't be bored. As for the artists, I have gone to a Jing for years. He is amazing. And don't worry, if you're not artistic or have a partial idea he will put it all together for you. You won't be disappointed! read more

I have gotten 2 tattoos from Tom, he's always been really nice, informative, professional, and does clean tattoos. The shop is tidy with a nice TV to watch to distract you from getting tattooed if you're a whimp. Everyone is friendly and courteous and doesn't seem to be rude and pressuring to people about their tattoos. read more

The name is so fitting for this place, because they really are nice guys. I've been to other tattoo parlors with friends and the artists are almost always a**holes that think they are the shit, and then I see the crap they put on people's skin. I have been going with these guys since they were both working for some other a**hole. Both Jing and Tom are fabulous artists, have great attitudes, do wonderful work, and offer a pleasant experience. They will usually play a great movie on several televisions while they work. I couldnt be happier with the quality of tattoos I have received from Nice Guy. I couldn't be happier with the new friends I have gained by coming to this place in Jing and Tom. read more

I forgot to edit my review from 2 years ago. At first we thought this place was awesome. My bf got his last name "vieira" on himself... Little did we know he walked out with "vjejra" the font he chose had their i's and j's very similar. My bf and I did not notice until we got home and it just didn't look right the longer we looked at it. We went back to look at the font, and sure enough he mixed up the letters. Luckily it was an easy fix, but that's supposed to be their job. read more

I love All the guys at Nice Guy. Haubs has done almost all of my tattoos and I am super happy with everything he's done. I am sad he is only there a few days a month now, he was asked to work at one of the most impressive tattoo shops on the west coast. On the bright side, Jing is amazing so now I get to have him work on me. Can't say enough great things about these dudes. read more

I was quoted 600 to 800 for a simple line art sleeve with one color. Even told the guy I didn't want too much shading because of my skin color but he didn't agree, I'm black dude! Too much detail looks nasty from far away. Really unprofessional, you guys were recommended by two friends, guess the weekend staff is just bad. I'm going to All In Ink who quoted me 450. read more

Went here to get my first tattoo just last night. Went in with no appt and immediately was greeted by the owner, Jing (I thinks that how you spell it) and he talked with me about my design that I already had and answered all my questions very nicely and professionally. It was a full house when I went but he told me if I still wanted to do it, he could get me in right after one of the artists was done. We talked for probably a good half hour before I made any decisions and he was there to help me with everything and showed me a lot of work he has done recently. Jing really helped ease my nerves about getting the tattoo. So I did wind up getting it done that night, and my tattoo artist was great! He explained to me what was going to happen and was very professional when doing me tattoo. Too bad I forgot his name but he was a great guy. And honestly, it did not hurt much, if any at all. There was a few times when it stung a little, but overall, it was bareable, easy pain, especially since it was my first time. It was also really chill atmosphere and everyone was really cool. The price was fair, not cheap but not expensive. The quality of the tattoo was what made the price worth it. I LOVE how it turned out. Great experience! Would definitely come back if I decide to get another one. And for sure will recommend this to anyone who wants a chill place to get their tattoo with professionally chill people! read more

Nice Guy Tattoo - First tattoo! This is a picture of it a day after I was finished. Love it! - Tattoo Near Me - Arcadia, California

My first visit to Nice Guy was the last week of March and I've been there every two weeks ever since. Tom Haubrick came highly recommended and this guy is truly amazing. He pieced all my ideas together and took it to a whole 'nother level. Jing and the rest of the guys are very pleasant and they all fit the Nice Guy shop name quite well. Nice Guy is clean and the atmosphere is very cool. Not to mention they always show a good movie whenever I'm on the chair. If you're ever looking to get some work done or a newbie interested in getting a tattoo, Nice Guy is worth the visit. read more

This place is awesome! I literally just got my tattoos a few hours ago (a walk-in, kind of spur of the moment after a friend and I had dinner). Jing did my tattoo, and was super nice and helpful, as were all the guys. It went by pretty quick, maybe around an hour, and was super affordable. Will definitely be coming back here again. read more

I was highly reccomended to see Carey from Nice Guys Tattoo to have ny heart locket done. When I got there i was greeted by friendly guys! Carey was extreamly chill and eager to draw out my vision. Same afternoon i was in his station getting inked. He is extreamly patient and very detailed. We chatted away as he drew out and colored in my heart locket. I left it to him to add whatever he felt looked best! I LOVED it! I highly reccomended people to see Carey, he is amazingly talented, very detailed and a true perfectionist! I will definitely be back to see him for future work! read more

This place was amazing! they are really nice guys. I walked in and was greated by Cary. A very great artist and i told him the story about my uncle and how i wanted this lyric as a tribute to his life. We had a very indepth Consultation which i really liked and agreed on the font and placement. THis was my first tattoo and Cary walked me through everything it was scary but he made it really easy and fast. HIs work was great and i am most definitley going back for my second one. THank you Cary . read more

Had a tribal on my arm that I didn't like. Brandon went freestyle and turned it into a real work of art. He totally changed the dynamics of the existing tattoo. I already forgot how it used to look and which way it used to flow. It took about 5 hours for the transformation. It was all work and no play. I think we took like 2 small 5-10 minute breaks. I'm really pleased. I can't wait to go back and get more work done! read more

Awesome shop! Jing was super patient with me! He was able to get my idea and put it together to make it a dream! I absolutely love my tattoo! Definitely going back for more! read more

I really liked it here. When I first walked in they made me feel real welcomed, it was well lit and seemed like in a descent location. I was getting a cover up tattoo of a rose on my wrist, I went to another shop to get a quote and they were gonna charge me 180. and may I say the other place I went to was so not welcoming they guy who was helping me didnt even seem like he wanted to help me. So I came here cuz one of my friend refered me to this place. They guy who helped me, his name was Cary. Excellent job!!! it came out soo good and it was so much cheaper than the other place. He was so nice and talked me thru it as if it were my first time. I say if u want to get work done, go here for sure!!! read more

This place is an amazing establishment to get tattooed at. Great vibe and atmosphere. Big screen TV that is going out and needs to be replaced, but, hey- you get to watch movies and tv while getting your skin thrashed. Artists are all very good, VERY GOOD. Love these guys. Good pricing. read more

I was referee back years ago to this shop and have gone no where else. I have half my body covered from the guys at nice guy. Nice Guy Tattoo - DONE BY CARY. - Tattoo Near Me - Arcadia, California

See all

I always go to Brandon for my tattoos and have recommended him to others who have all been very satisfied as well. I will even drive down from San Francisco to get any more work that I want done by him :) read more

This review is for Brandon. Came here years ago, before yelp... Customer service was ok... My tattoo took 2 sessions to complete. The lines are almost blurry and not fine, color leaked in other areas it shouldn't have. I went back couple months later because the orange color had completely fade away. His response was that the ink he used was different. He went over it again and yes this time it's last. Also the photo i have given him the girl has long hair, i swear that it was a bob hair style, she looked like a boy. The angle that her body is it's almost twisted. I had to go to another place to fix his mess. i would never recommend this place or go back, no matter the reviews. read more

Nice guy tattoo is definitely the best tattoo shop I've been to. I had work done previously at a different shop and ended up with a tattoo that I wasn't happy with. Jing did the most amazing cover up. Since then I've had gone back numerous times and always satisfied! His work is so clean and colors so vibrant. I highly recommend nice guy tattoo. Everyone who works at Nice Guy Tattoo is so friendly and made me feel at home. Thank you so much Jing for doing such amazing work! I'll always continue to go to Nice Guy Tattoo :) read more

Got it done a few days ago :) and my boyfriend actually told me that he's happy I chose to go with Jing. His personality made my boyfriend& i both very comfortable, and he's very easy to talk to. After 2 hours of "hurt so good", I've got my first tattoo! The process was great, he made a stencil and had me double check everything before he started. I'm definitely going back for my other one!! read more

I've been coming here for years and will only go to Brandon, he's seriously the best there is. Super clean work and a very friendly, honest and professional guy. I got a few tattoos done here that were truly excellent. Clean shop and friendly artists. I would definitely go back for more ink since I was definitely happy with my tattoos read more

The name of the place is exactly what you get, nice guys! I heard about this place from a co-worker and had the itch to get some new ink. I got some script on my foot, just three words. Matt was my artist and he didn't even sketch out anything! He took out his sharpie and drew directly on my foot! He has a light hand and it was not as painful as my other foot tattoo was. Matt only works there on the weekends but his specialty is script. I totally recommend him for script and just friendly conversation. The time in the shop went by so fast! Definitely going back for my next piece read more

Jing is an outstanding tattoo artist. I've gotten a few tattoos here and I would definitely come back for another one! Great guys, great service, great art. read more

Wow. Just wow. I actually left crying happy tears because it was way better than expected. The idea and sketch I wanted wasn't gonna fit on my collarbone the way I initially wanted but Jing figured out a way to keep it my idea and the writing I wanted but also making it fit. Jing also was perfect on giving me the breaks and relief I needed. He was patient and took his time through the whole process making sure I remained comfortable. He could tell I was nervous and did everything he could so I didn't freak out. I am beyond impressed with how professional he was. And the tattoo came out even better than I picfured. Definitely going back for more! read more

Went to Jing to get my first tattoo. We were doing a memorial tattoo for my step father who passed away. Jing was great, we had 3 people getting their first tattoos and he was patient, had a light hand, made sure we were comfortable and did great work delivering a very special image for us to memorialize our loved one with. I highly recommend Nice Guy Tattoo. Thanks Jing! read more

I've been coming to Nice Guy Tattoo on and off for several years. Last year, I met Brandon and now I wont go anywhere else. He has done 1 cover up, 3 touch ups and some letting work for me.
