Jings done all of my tattoos and I keep going back for a reason! He does an extemely good job preping for the tats and executes even better. When someone starts talking to me about the angle at which your eyes are going to perceive the features of my chosen tattoo, I know I've come to a place that takes their work very seriously. After being tattooed by Jing, I realized the spirt of the tattoo meant as much to him as it did to me. I liked that. Called in for an appointment and Jing was very friendly and helpful over the phone. When I came in on the day of my appointment and gave him an idea of the tattoo I wanted, he went to design it for me and it came out better than what I had envisioned in my mind. Very professional and friendly, Jing made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. His work is remarkable and he works very professionally. The price was very reasonable because I have two other tattoos that were done at another shop that are way smaller and more expensive. I wish I came here for my previous tattoos. I have gotten 2 tattoos from Tom, he's always been really nice, informative, professional, and does clean tattoos. The shop is tidy with a nice TV to watch to distract you from getting tattooed if you're a whimp. The name is so fitting for this place, because they really are nice guys. I've been to other tattoo parlors with friends and the artists are almost always a**holes that think they are the shit, and then I see the crap they put on people's skin. I have been going with these guys since they were both working for some other a**hole. Both Jing and Tom are fabulous artists, have great attitudes, do wonderful work, and offer a pleasant experience. They will usually play a great movie on several televisions while they work. I forgot to edit my review from 2 years ago. At first we thought this place was awesome. My bf got his last name "vieira" on himself... Little did we know he walked out with "vjejra" the font he chose had their i's and j's very similar. My bf and I did not notice until we got home and it just didn't look right the longer we looked at it. We went back to look at the font, and sure enough he mixed up the letters. I was quoted 600 to 800 for a simple line art sleeve with one color. Even told the guy I didn't want too much shading because of my skin color but he didn't agree, I'm black dude! Went here to get my first tattoo just last night. Went in with no appt and immediately was greeted by the owner, Jing (I thinks that how you spell it) and he talked with me about my design that I already had and answered all my questions very nicely and professionally. It was a full house when I went but he told me if I still wanted to do it, he could get me in right after one of the artists was done. We talked for probably a good half hour before I made any decisions and he was there to help me with everything and showed me a lot of work he has done recently. Jing really helped ease my nerves about getting the tattoo. So I did wind up getting it done that night, and my tattoo artist was great! He explained to me what was going to happen and was very professional when doing me tattoo. Too bad I forgot his name but he was a great guy. And honestly, it did not hurt much, if any at all. There was a few times when it stung a little, but overall, it was bareable, easy pain, especially since it was my first time. It was also really chill atmosphere and everyone was really cool. The price was fair, not cheap but not expensive. The quality of the tattoo was what made the price worth it. I LOVE how it turned out. Great experience! Would definitely come back if I decide to get another one. And for sure will recommend this to anyone who wants a chill place to get their tattoo with professionally chill people! read more

My first visit to Nice Guy was the last week of March and I've been there every two weeks ever since. Tom Haubrick came highly recommended and this guy is truly amazing. He pieced all my ideas together and took it to a whole 'nother level. Jing and the rest of the guys are very pleasant and they all fit the Nice Guy shop name quite well. Nice Guy is clean and the atmosphere is very cool. Not to mention they always show a good movie whenever I'm on the chair. I was highly reccomended to see Carey from Nice Guys Tattoo to have ny heart locket done. When I got there i was greeted by friendly guys! Carey was extreamly chill and eager to draw out my vision. Same afternoon i was in his station getting inked. He is extreamly patient and very detailed. We chatted away as he drew out and colored in my heart locket. A very great artist and i told him the story about my uncle and how i wanted this lyric as a tribute to his life. We had a very indepth Consultation which i really liked and agreed on the font and placement. Had a tribal on my arm that I didn't like. Brandon went freestyle and turned it into a real work of art. He totally changed the dynamics of the existing tattoo. I already forgot how it used to look and which way it used to flow. It took about 5 hours for the transformation. It was all work and no play. I think we took like 2 small 5-10 minute breaks. I really liked it here. When I first walked in they made me feel real welcomed, it was well lit and seemed like in a descent location. I was getting a cover up tattoo of a rose on my wrist, I went to another shop to get a quote and they were gonna charge me 180. and may I say the other place I went to was so not welcoming they guy who was helping me didnt even seem like he wanted to help me. So I came here cuz one of my friend refered me to this place. They guy who helped me, his name was Cary. Excellent job!!! it came out soo good and it was so much cheaper than the other place. Wow. Just wow. I actually left crying happy tears because it was way better than expected. The idea and sketch I wanted wasn't gonna fit on my collarbone the way I initially wanted but Jing figured out a way to keep it my idea and the writing I wanted but also making it fit. Jing also was perfect on giving me the breaks and relief I needed. He was patient and took his time through the whole process making sure I remained comfortable. He could tell I was nervous and did everything he could so I didn't freak out. I am beyond impressed with how professional he was. And the tattoo came out even better than I picfured. This review is for Brandon. Came here years ago, before yelp... Customer service was ok... My tattoo took 2 sessions to complete. The lines are almost blurry and not fine, color leaked in other areas it shouldn't have. I went back couple months later because the orange color had completely fade away. His response was that the ink he used was different. He went over it again and yes this time it's last. Also the photo i have given him the girl has long hair, i swear that it was a bob hair style, she looked like a boy. The angle that her body is it's almost twisted. I had to go to another place to fix his mess. i would never recommend this place or go back, no matter the reviews. read more

The name of the place is exactly what you get, nice guys! I heard about this place from a co-worker and had the itch to get some new ink. I got some script on my foot, just three words. Matt was my artist and he didn't even sketch out anything! He took out his sharpie and drew directly on my foot! He has a light hand and it was not as painful as my other foot tattoo was. Matt only works there on the weekends but his specialty is script. I totally recommend him for script and just friendly conversation. The time in the shop went by so fast!
