I sent reference photos and explained the style I was looking for beforehand, but the final tattoo didn't really resemble what I had in mind or what I sent over. Considering I paid over $500, I expected a much more collaborative experience and a result that felt more personalized. A little over a year later, I ended up paying another artist to completely cover it with the design I originally wanted in the first place (for the same price). I've met all the artists and they all welcome you as soon as you walk in. My artist is Kaythleen. She is awesome. I met her when she was an apprentice. I was looking for an artist that would do a memorial to one of my Frenchies who passed away. It had to be perfect. After speaking to her about my idea(s), she offered to me, with 100% confidence that she could do a "Realism" portrait of him. After putting my trust in her, she came through. She blew me away with the final stroke of her tattoo gun. I couldn't have been happier. Following that, I asked her to do a portrait of my other Frenchie. She immediately said yeas and was very excited to continue this journey. She delivered another masterpiece. Now I have both of my boys on my leg. We talked and discussed my next project. By this time Kaythleen had earned the title of Tattoo Artist. She was no longer an apprentice. I had been wanting to do a full leg sleeve of the Darkside characters of Star Wars. Mainly sidious, maul, and vader. She was again very excited to take on this challenge and make it happen. I come up with the concept and some artwork, she spins it in her mind and comes up with the layout. Somfar on this journey, it has been nothing short of amazing. We have just finished all the up to my knee and are currently working on going up the leg now. I get so many compliments on the artwork, layout, and her ability to make it all flow. I can't wait for the next session. She is absolutely amazing, hardworking, dedicated, and takes pride in what she does. Thank you to Kaythleen for making this a reality for me .

After coming across Kaythleen's work on Anvil's socials, we were really impressed by her b/w portraits and line work, and decided to book an appointment. Not only did she deliver an amazing piece, but she also helped foster a core experience for my father who shared that she was patient, kind, and meticulous. Ever since, I have had multiple pieces done by Kaythleen -- the most recent of which was a miniature line portrait of our family home and of our Jack Russell. My mother, who was never big on ink felt compelled to get a small piece done and is scheduled in for another. It's become a true family affair!

Ahhh so lets just start with the fact IM SCARED of needles but i LOVE the pain of piercings . If that makes any sense lol. Jonathan is the best.!! Back when i was 16 i got my hips pierced with dermals by jonathan and he was very professional. I told him about my needle phobia and he assured me everything was going to be fine and he walked me through it . Today i went in to get my industrial ear piercing of course by Jonathan. I walked in nervous as hell jonathan then greeted me and took me to his office. He made small talk remembering my needle phobia. He then asked me if i was ready and he did the piercing really quick.! When he was finished with the piercing he explained the cleaning procedure and informed me how to take care of the piercing. He truly is an amazing man that cares deeply for his clients thats exactly why i refer all my friends to him. Thank you once again Jonathan.!!(: read more

Yesterday, I had my first session for my first tattoo, and what an amazing experience it was. As soon as you walk into the shop, you are greeted immediately with the best customer service you could ask for. The shop was spotless, and the environment was outstanding. The one thing I loved the most about this experience was that at no point was Jesus pushy or rushed. Instead, he patiently walked me through the sketches and threw out some incredible ideas. Ultimately, we agreed on the piece, and six hours later, I am one happy customer. We still have another six hours in our next session, but I already love the piece. This guy is truly gifted! One of the most humble guys I have met, he is all about the business and providing proper customer service. My piece is not even finished, and I already booked another appointment for my next piece. He takes lots of time to create and draw up something original for every one of his clients, and I love how he always puts his own artistic twist to your ideas. The piece I got from him was an Alolan Ninetales from Pokemon with red kitsune markings and a chrysanthemum flower. I was blown away by the design. It was very different from what I envisioned but not at all in a bad way at all. If anything I think what he came up was actually cooler, better and more unique than what I expected (and I already expected a lot seeing his work before since he is so good at what he does!) The piece took 2 sessions. Jimmy really takes his time to make the details of the piece look nice. Both times I flew from NorCal to SoCal and it was well worth it. He is also very light-handed so it was not very painful at all (only towards the end, since I'm not good at dealing with long sessions but that's a me-thing).
