First have to start with what an amazing experience . Appointment - Setting up an appointment was easy and the booking person answered all my questions within minutes . Consultation- my artist Carlos was amazing what others said could be done he did and got my vision right by putting it all together . He quickly did the draft then the outline he worked on it till I was satisfied with placement . Shop environment -i can't tell you how amazing the whole experience was . From the front desk making it easy for me to check in and offering me water right away. She quickly got my artist and let him know his appointment was there. All trough the process she kept checking in on everyone there and taking pics and engaging with the customers . All the artist got along excellently and everyone would come up to each other when they got there and said their good bye . Amazing friendly environment just what it should be . Cleanliness - as soon as you walk in you can smell how clean the place is. It's not dingy and dark like other places it smells great and well lit up with some great music and movies playing . Tattoo- Carlos is amazing made me feel comfortable and talked me through the process . Don't let his age fool you he gets down with them quills! He checked on me and made sure if I want to stretch or break we would stop . He totally worked with me as my vision grew and was patient . Over all best tattoo experience I've had . Overall I highly recommend Manifest and give them 5 starts . Thank you guys see you soon to finish the other side of my arm ! read more

The bar was set high at this tattoo shop. I started a tattoo at a different shop nearby. After a poor experience during the first session (at a different shop) I opted to complete the second session at this shop. JR completed the second session. Everything was smooth from beginning to end. Thanks everyone! read more

Beware of Inda he is super shady paid this dude 1k for a deposit, I've been messaging this dude for like 8 months to get my appointment and now my money back this dude is a major fraud.. he wouldn't give me a session date and now won't return my money yet he's constantly posting on social media... honestly nobody should continue going to this tattoo shop if this is how they conduct business read more

I have the same opinion as one of the previews customers. They always fetch you two quotes, example $1,200 to $1,400. They say that price is based on the type of design pending the artist assessment. You get there and it always turns out to be the higher of the two quotes. Note, that these quotes are suppose to be for " Half day to full day."They ask you for a picture of the design you want, pictures of the part of your body you wanted placed. Then you get there and it takes the artist another 2 to 2 1/2 hours to come out with the stencil. Thus, defeating the purpose of sending them pics of your design and body placement! And worse they do this on your watch, so if they don't complete it they hit you with another half day forcing you to pay that extra $$! My last leg tatoo the artist said it was a tatoo that would take up a day and a half. So, I had no choice, you're stuck, they won't refund you the deposit if you cancel. Ironically, after being left with no choice but to pay that extra, in the end he finished in just under five hours! Makes no sense. They have a different interpretation of what a half day and full day means. I see it in hours, they see as, " depends on how fast or slow the artist whats it to take!" I tip handsomely and you figure after getting six Tattoos there they would acknowledge me as a loyal customer, but on the contrary, they treat you like a new customer every time! To bad, I really like my artist, but won't be going back to him until he separates from this studio! read more

Please don't go to THIS shop it's such a rip off. They say one thing and do another. There very unprofessional and rude. They don't even do the design ahead of time they make you wait on your scheduled "full day" to start the art . Thats very unprofessional in my opinion. When im paying top dollar I expect communication to happen before the tattoo to design it so when my appointment comes all I need to do is arrive and fit it in place. They over charge like seriously over charge. I would not spend my hard earned money with a studio or artist like these. Please reconsider the shop you chose this one definitely ain't worth the time or money. read more

Best tattoo!!! Scrappy did an amazing job! I couldn't be happier. It was a cover up as well, so the detail is amazing. He's very talented and will give you a kick ass piece. read more

Manifest Studio - Mammoth mountains! - Tattoo Near Me - El Monte, California

I got tattooed with Inda, was quoted $3k for a full day session. He showed up extremely late and took his time even when he finally showed up. Started tattooing me maybe an hour and a half after he showed up late, kept trying to take breaks and even though I was quoted $3k for the piece I wanted, I had to book another half day session that I didn't even need but cause he showed up late and kept taking breaks I had to pay $1500 for another half day session that he maybe tattooed me an hour for. Beware of this shop, work was good but they are a little shady we'll atleast Inda and the booking person. There's a lot of other shops in the LA area with better work for half the price honestly. read more

I received a tattoo appointment as a gift from my Boyfriend for Christmas. He knew the only way I'd get tatted is if it was a Fernie tattoo. He's done almost all of my boyfriends tattoos so I knew my portraits would come out great. Just by the pictures I've added to this review you can see every bit of detail! Fernie did this piece exactly how I envisioned it. He was super patient with me and how I wanted it done. Gave me options to choose from and his input on what would make it come perfect. His work is great, but the actual session was what had me shocked. I was comfortable the entire time. He has a really gentle touch with the tattoo gun. Also making sure if I needed a break it would be available to me if I needed. I'm extremely pleased with my appointment and final product. I'm proud of the portrait of My Son and I'm glad I get to tell people the artist that did it. Looking forward to getting more work done by him and seeing what awesome ideas him and my boyfriend come up with for his as well. The Manifest studio has such a chill vibe with a dope ambience. Doesn't make me cringe like some shops I've been to in the past. You can tell the pride taken into having that shop A1. Thanks again to everyone at Manifest Studio Also, we got some hats and t shirts that i seem to always get compliments on every time I wear them. So dont forget to get some on your way out! read more

Excellent experience for my first tattoo. The level of care and respect started at the moment I sent in my enquiry, they were clear, to the point and shared the same level of excitement to bring my idea to life. On the day of, the young lady was nothing but courteous and really went out of her way to make me feel comfortable while I waited for my artist. The whole shop is clean and looks crisp, I could tell the pride that they have in representing their name. One of the many positive things that stood out to me was that all the artist that I came across greeted me which really made me feel at home throughout the day session. Lastly, the tattoo came out amazing, have been getting a ton of compliments on it, Fernie did an amazing job! I really didn't expect anything less from an artist of his caliber. read more

I booked an appointment with Oscar, and completed my session yesterday. He absolutely KILLEDDDDDD it when it came to my vision. He not only listened to everything I wanted, he thoroughly researched it and had such a good understanding of it too. His professionalism is just as amazing as his tattoo work. I'd ask his opinion on placement, or comfortability with specific work and he's not like anyone else out there. He's honest and won't steer you wrong JUST to make money off you. His work shows that he prides himself in believing in what he places on you. He absolutely is worth waiting for an booking with. I told him yesterday, that I feel I absolutely met my life long tattoo artist. But also, everyone at the shop is amazing and the energy in there makes you feel welcome and excited. Every artist, all the staff talks to you, they come check out your work and it's a hella uplifting environment. I checked out all the artists work on Instagram and I can 100% say they are all extremely talented. Their booking manager, Julio is so nice too and he amps you up. All around, I definitely found the spot I'll always go get work done! read more

Had my tattoo done by Scrappy who did a great pug portrait of our Caesar. The session from beginning to end did take a long time due to schedule changes and making sure Scrappy gets settled in. I did not mind as much because as long as the artist is relaxed and ready I knew the art that he would put out would be great. Just make sure when you make an appointment that the rest of your day is free. Scrappy did not disappoint. The portrait was flawless and I could not be happier. Scrappy was such a laid back and positive guy and made me feel comfortable. The work he does is art. At such a young age he is so talented. My next portrait will come from Scrappy again. Without a doubt. read more

Beware of Inda. I had scheduled a tattoo with him and gave my deposit and some extra money to put towards my tattoo. I had sent him messages days before the date of my appointment with no response. The day before my appointment he posted on his instagram that he had just landed in a different state. Obviously my session was cancelled. What's upsetting is that I took 2 days off from work for this appointment and he didn't even have the courtesy to at least let me know. If it wasn't for him posting everything on instagram I would've shown up to my appointment as he partied it up in another state. I continuously asked for my money back minus the deposit that I know is non refundable and have never gotten a response from him and literally left on read. Fast forward to him posting on instagram that he makes 500k a year with tattooing. I commented on the post about getting my money back and he deleted my comments and blocked me. He clearly doesn't want anyone else knowing that he'll just take money and run. He posts about money, partying, and all the luxury items he buys but can't give me my money back that wouldn't even dent his bank account. If you do your research, he's notorious for scamming people over. I personally know people who have gotten work done by him since we have many mutual friends from high school. Inda has left them with unfinished tattoos and promised sessions that he never even responded to. This guy is a scammer and only wants to take people's money to flaunt the things he has on instagram. He doesn't care about his clients and only cares about the money he steals from people. Inda has ridiculous prices for work that he doesn't even draw up himself. If you're looking for a true tattoo artist and not someone that mashes up a bunch of google images and calls it art, keep looking cause Inda isn't it. read more

best tattoo i've ever had, worst experience i've ever had at a professional shop. why put a deposit down if the artist isn't going to do their homework & have the piece ready. but how could they if i was never asked for my measurements the day i put my deposit down. day of tattoo: my appointment's at 11am but the tattooing didn't start till 3:30pm. so i was basically a walk in. why even send reference photos. make it make sense. no communication whatsoever. i see other appointments walking in, their artist had it all ready to go. i was the only one dumb enough to wait over 4 hours. amazing artist, just sh*tty professionalism. drinking on the job WHILE tattooing me? i wish my eyes deceived me, & correct me if i'm wrong, but that's def a no-no for the state. my favorite part was when we finished & Scrappy didn't even wrap my arm to protect from contaminating OPEN skin. wish i walked out of their satisfied 1000% but oh well, i walked out feeling dumb but with a kick ass piece. bittersweet, just like that white claw he was drinking while tattooing me. how poetic. read more
