I got a really good breakfast and had excellent service. I was greeted then by the manager. A large mug of coffee was quickly delivered. I ordered the California omelet which had artichokes and avocado in it. The portion was large, and great fuel for my hike later that day at Crater Lake. So much that I had to save the large muffin for later. My server was Heidi was excellent, being attentive. And I had a nice chat with the manager and another server who is also going to be seeing Taylor Swift. I look forward to coming back when I'm in the area for Crater Lake. read more

My wife and I love Oregon, but I wish it were better run. Now, to Nibbley's!! We rolled into Klamath Falls in search of lunch and ended up here based on reviews. As luck would have it, lunch isn't served on Sunday. The breakfast menu is okay. I tend to like more breakfast meats, so, to me, it was lacking. I had chicken fried steak and eggs. It was superb. The waitress took our order and brought our check. Nothing in between. That was the first visit. 2nd visit a week later was better. I really don't have any complaints about the staff. With such a beautiful interior dining area, it really is especially terrible to witness how COVID continues to be such a bane to all these business that have put so much effort to make their establishment shine. They also have a nice outdoor setup but the chill and the occasional falling snow just makes it less appealing to be outside for any meal (which often makes me wonder how businesses with larger properties would survive on a solely take out business model). That said, I wanted a warm brunch right after grabbing coffee from the Human Bean in the same lot. I walked in and was greeted by extremely friendly staff, offered a menu, placed an order shortly and moved to the side to wait (and people watch lol). One thing became quite apparent shortly: person after person after person that came in thereafter were all picking up pies. They would state their name and the type of pie they were picking up and a staff member would immediately head to the next room where all pickup orders were staged to grab their order. It was an efficient and cool process to watch as the coming patrons were continuous during the whole time I stood there. I received my to-go order about 10 minutes later and headed back to my car to dive in. How was it? Good. Really, really good. So good I wanted to go back in right after I finished my sandwich to order a different one off the menu. But that will have to wait for now. I let my husband pick a place to eat on our road trip and was pleasantly surprised! The service was superb, from the hostess to the wait staff, everyone was super friendly and down to earth. I ordered a hamburger with their homemade chips. The burger had a great flavor and was cooked perfectly. And who doesn't like homemade potato chips, yum! I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this breakfast joint. A huge shout out to our server Alyssa who took very good care of our party of 9 and a half. She did not forget a single thing and was very attentive. She brought out everything in a timely manner and was very polite and friendly the entire time. She's the definition of great customer service. As for the food, I ordered the corn beef hash which comes with potatoes and two fried eggs. I substituted my toast for a delicious pancake. My sister ordered the chicken fried steak and she gave me a piece and it was superb. I am fully satisfied with the food and staff. We loved Nibbley's! We came early one morning whiling staying in Klamath Falls. The restaurant is cute and had a big patio with plenty of space for distancing. Our waitress was lovely and absolutely the sweetest! She was like a ray of sunshine. The breakfast we had there was amazing - we shared a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream and corned beef hash. Everything tasted so good - we finished everything on our plates. The tables at the patio are nicely spaced out and a pleasant setting for sure. Service was top notch; our waitress checked on us to see if we needed anything, gave us sharing plates, and made good conversation all while appropriately distancing in an awesome sequin mask! Upon hearing we are heading to crater lake, she suggested we check out a hike up mount Scott. It was an awesome recommendation! Nibbley's dining room is bright and cheery with windows bringing in outdoor light. The tables and booths are comfortable, and have ample space between. I recently had a delicious salad - with walnuts and gorgonzola. The bread rolls are to die for! The service leaves room for improvement. Our waiter was friendly, but we had to remind her of our drinks. It's like the waitstaff don't take their work very seriously, or there are just low expectations on the part of management. It was a really good experience with great service, ambiance and a varied menu. The hamburger were top notch, Lots of flavor! My wife had the NY cheesecake and I ordered the carrot cake for desert. "Fancy restaurant" serving basic food. Philly cheese steak was basic and dry without me dipping it in sauce. Lacked seasoning. Lacked cheese. Navy bean soup was alright. Olive garden bean soup is honestly better. Took 10-15 minutes to seat 1 person on a Wednesday afternoon. Took 20 minutes to bring my basic Philly cheese steak. She informed me as she brought my sandwich that they were out of sweet potatoes fries. Saved herself cause she immediately brought criss cut fries. However the requested Tabasco never came. Food: Mexican scramble was not seasoned and relatively tasteless. No meat in it and chorizo would be a good addition. In 2022 we have eaten here roughly 40-50 times. The last 10 times have been lackluster and the very last meal was an epic fail. Last weekend was the last straw. Some of the food is good, don't get me wrong. They try very hard for the artisanal look and feel. The place is pretty! The dessert bar is fantastic. $1 for a big cookie - no one does this and this is fabulous. BUT last weekend was a huge miss and we won't be back. Service sucks. I'm so sorry to say, but it does. There's one really good waitress we've had out of the handful of waitresses. I don't know if this place is family run but these gals just don't care. No refills. No check in after food and if they do check in, you can barely get a word out has been our experience; like they're so hurried and can't be bothered. Work on your customer service - you're not better than your customers. If you can't make something, take it off the menu. THE LAST STRAW EXPERIENCE: Husband ordered a steak and eggs and they asked how he wanted it cooked. He said MEDIUM. What we got was a sad looking, thin 1/2" steak that belonged in a sandwich, not a STEAK that you would expect for steak and eggs. I get that this place does things a little differently but if that's the case, why would you ask how he wanted it cooked? Take it off your menu if you cannot cook steak properly or don't have steak to begin with and don't ask how someone wants their steak cooked. Came out well done twice, with the second steak extra covered in garlic and pepper. Second steak we had to take a photo of because we were flabbergasted. Hopefully this honest review isn't deleted. Owner/staff - I'm not being overly critical. I'm curious how many negative google reviews you've taken off. I'm sorry but the service is really sad lately. Train your girls! :( If this is indeed family run which I suspect it is, discipline your family. You will lose customers for their poor service. Such a cute restaurant! Stopped here so my husband could have the homemade corned beef hash for breakfast. Big chunks of corned beef and the potatoes had peppers and onions in them. I had the chicken fried steak. It was not hand breaded but it was a good chicken fried steak with homemade sausage gravy. The bakery items looked so good! This place also cleans to the nth degree - table cloths were replaced between customers (even though they were under glass) and they were working on contact tracing as well. What a gem of a restaurant! Spacious waiting area although we were seated immediately. Busy place for 2:00 on a Monday. I had their special French dip, made with the addition of onions and mushrooms and the onion soup as the side. Both were excellent!
