I communicated with this business prior to our arrival to determine whether they made their sandwiches in the morning, and of course "yes." I put my order in online on the day of our travel, and arrived at an amazing, quaint, hometown coffeehouse, I am sorry I did not get to experience a coffee and breakfast there (amazing aroma!), but I can tell you that the sandwiches we took into the park were over the top. I would highly recommend if you're heading to CLNP and are unsure of your timing for when you might want a meal.

We went mostly in the morning during the two days we stayed at Klamath Falls. I got their cold brew coffee and it was not sour or burnt tasting like some other fancy coffee shops. We were driving thru town, looking for a deli sandwich. Any place we could get a good sandwich quickly, to get back on the road quickly, that wasn't yet another fast food place. I had a simple turkey and cheese on white. I can't describe quite why it was so good. Maybe it was just very, very fresh, and prepared exactly how I ordered it. No one overthought it or gentrified it or anything like that. They did the thing they do, and they did that thing well. My wife had a roast beef sandwich and it was the same story. Not sure why it was as good as it was, except that it was fresh and didn't have a bunch of extra toppings or "accoutrement" she didn't want. Even though this is clearly a very local establishment, they were friendly to us, and the bathroom was clean. We ended up buying some other supplies from the convenience store section, saving a stop. Plenty of parking on the side of the store and fairly easy to get back to the highway. Definitely worth a stop for provisions.

I'm still glad to have Holiday Market in my neighborhood, and they even stock Omission gluten-free beer now! But the more I shop here the more I wish they'd go the way of Natural Grocers and ditch the conventional foods in favor of organic, natural foods. For example: ban Doritos! They're made with msg and all kinds of other crap. Instead, offer more of the cleaner snack foods, like Hippeas. Get rid of conventional produce - at least the selections from the dirty dozen. Change up some deli ingredients to make a few pre-made dishes that don't include wheat and dairy. Help your community make better food choices and be healthier + happier by offering quality products and shunning the old school garbage available at any gas station or Sizzler buffet.
