I have been going here for years but today my husband and I were not treated every well. We were standing line line for 15 minutes or more and there was only one group ahead of us. The hostess walked by us 3 times and didn't even look at us. On the last time passing by us she took 3 groups that came after my husband and I. We didn't even get to give her our name. Even though we were even standing there. She didn't even look at us. I said wow really you took everyone who come in after us... then I said fine you I'm leaving. This is a classic place for breakfast. With a huge menu to choose from there is something for everyone. I didn't order the giant cinnamon roll, but I saw it being served to someone else and I was jealous. I will definitely order it next time! The food was excellent and the service was superb. Soooo delicious. The photos of the food don't give this place justice. I had the tinga omelette with spicy chicken, Jack cheese, siracha sour cream and avocado, and it had such good flavor and LOADED with shredded chicken. Also I don't usually eat the toast that comes with egg dishes but their HOMEMADE toast is large and fluffy and oh so good. I had the whole wheat one. The coffee is delicious as well. Stopped by Nibblys for an afternoon nibble. I've been several times, it's always great, this was Hubby's first time. He ordered the Death Burger & I had the soup (zuppa toscana), salad and fresh bread combo. The burger is delicious, says Hubby. The only bad thing was the soup, absolutely horrid. It's definitely made in house, I'm not sure if this is their normal recipe or if there was a mix up, I'm hoping it was a mix up, our server didn't know. Never, ever, ever use sausage with anise seed (black licorice flavor) to make zuppa toscana, not ever!! You'll certainly want to give this milky, licorice flavored bowl of soup a hard pass if this is the norm. We ordered two cream puffs to go, pretty good. read more

I am not a regular to Klamath Falls so I went to this place solely off of recommendations and could not have been more disappointed. We were put into a back room by ourselves as a way of saving space for bigger tables. It was cold and uncomfortable. The staff would come in and out to take off their masks and eat. I'm going to say firstly, this is the number one BEST spot in all of Klamath Falls. I will also say I'm leaving two stars off because they recently closed for a private event for the entire memorial weekend. This place is one reason why we enjoy going to Klamath more often but we will now rethink our number of visits. I get that they have their own events going on, but holidays are a time one would expect top restaurants to be open for travelers and people visiting town. read more

I used to love coming to Nibbley's when I lived here. I met some friends there this morning and I was not impressed. Our server was great but I wasn't happy with my meal. I had the omelette special which was bacon, spinach, onion and cheddar cheese. There was so much bacon I couldn't taste anything else. Don't get me wrong, I like bacon, but in moderation. The hash browns were good. My son had the Pepe and he wasn't impressed either. Maybe it was an off day. I mean hey, we all have them! I ate about 1/4 of my meal and had a 5 hour drive home. I was starving when I got home. We were hoping to have a full breakfast so that we wouldn't have hunger pains on the drive home. I may try them again when in town next, but this visit, was not one of the better dine in experiences. read more

My husband and I stopped at Nibbley's, just after they opened, before driving to Reno from Klamath Falls, for a rock concert. Our server was so sweet and welcoming. We both had the eggs Benedict and left happy and probably too full of coffee, because we had to make quite a few pee stops during our road trip. I recommend the breakfast. The decor of this place makes you think you're at a backwoods diner that got a great deal on furnishings from an old hotel that went out of business, but hey, it's clean! And they have a full bar in the back...side... well, if you come here, you'll know what I meant. The service was great and very friendly. The waitress recommended that I try the prime rib with au gratin potatoes since it was only available on Fridays and Saturdays and it didn't disappoint! The Captain's Platter was large with a nice variety. The batter wasn't anything special, but it was still good. Sadly, we were so stuffed from our meals that we did not partake in the desserts but those cakes looked absolutely delicious. We saw this place as we drove past to go to dinner. Looked adorable. We were not disappointed. You will not leave hungry. You will leave with leftovers. I could not finish. You must try the chicken fried steak or the meat omelet. If you are just a little hungry grab the half order of biscuits and gravy. It's the perfect size. We chose to eat on the patio since we had our small dog with us, even though there were others sitting there it seemed we were invisible. We had to ask someone clearing a table if we could have water...she said I will go tell your server. Server came, brought water and menus and appeared a few minutes later to take our order. After our food was delivered she never checked on us again. Twice we had to stop another server to ask to refill our glasses (it was almost 100* that day). When we asked for our check she appeared and began seating another table and telling them the specials for the day...We Never Heard About Any Specials! They started out on Main Street and ended up in the location They are now after moving from a different spot on Washburn Way. the food has always been good and their bakery is fantastic. We checked YELP before we rolled into Klamath Falls and thank you Yelpers! This place was absolutely PERFECT for our family of 5 for a delicious lunch! From the cheerful hostess to the excellent food and service ... Kids got a nice grilled cheese with waffle fries, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with fresh grapes and apples, and a "kids Nibbley platter" (see pic) filled with all sorts of fun nibbley finger foods most kids absolutely love (rolled deli meat, cheesy crackers, raisins, cheese, pineapple, apples). "Mom and dad" got California style sandwiches (turkey on a croissant with avocado, savory cream cheese, tomato and sprouts - and a turkey melt with cheese and bacon - both with perfectly crisp waffle style fries). The strawberry lemonade with real strawberries on the bottom was a nice surprise! The ambience is absolutely charming (nice attention to detail with some Martha Stewart flair), as is the owner Debbie who sat down and chatted with us for a while about being a SoCal girl who is now loving the Oregon lifestyle. Her love for her business, including platinum customer service and quality control, was evident - she was darling. She even offered us a couple of her AMAZING homemade desserts (chocolate cream pie and cherry NY cheesecake) on the house because she felt we waited too long for something (but honestly we never felt that way - the service and timing were excellent) - so she definitely values customers having a great experience in her lovely restaurant. Every single one of her young female servers that we encountered were absolutely cheery, helpful and kind. Debbie offered great tips on an Oregon Coast trip we need to take soon and our entire experience was 5-star (oh and parking was easy and the bathroom were clean to boot). Highly recommended! I normally don't want to give a bad review. However, it makes me feel disappointed and unsatisfied about the food here. The food is too bland and the harsh brown uncooked. Also they put butter between toast so they all melted when we got home. I live in California and never got credit card charge for 3.5%. This is ridiculous. We recently pulled into Nibbley's because it was breakfast time and we like to visit the small local businesses and give them our money instead of the 'Chain restaurants'. Most of the time the food at these places is way better than the 'big guys'; but best of all its the charm of the wonderful people who keep these places going!
