This place is an awesome dive bar in every possible way; Cheap drinks, great staff, and condoms in the bathroom.

Went with husband, on a trip to Lake Canandaigua…read more We both ordered the Yardman breakfast with home fries, onions, and peppers. It also includes 2 strips of bacon, a piece of ham, and a sausage patty. Sounds delicious, but the home fries are not from home, they are likely frozen, and they were way overdone. I couldn't even get my fork into many, and they were so bland. I doused them in ketchup and the "awesome sauce" on the table. No help. The pepper and onions were largely absent.. They were so finely diced, and also overcooked, it was easy to miss. Sausage, bacon, and ham were VERY crispy and a little burnt, but they were still tasty. The eggs were spot on. It came with meat sauce or sausage gravy. Both were very rich. I passed on my meat sauce (too much allspice and/or nutmeg for me). Husband ate his gravy. He said it was sausage forward, with little gravy, but definitely scratch made and good. Full points for that. Coffee was ok, nothing great, a little weak. Now, I will give them credit as we came in at the end of breakfast. So maybe that was it. We got what they had left. The staff was great! I think we missed the mark and should have gone with garbage plates.

Thankfully, they answered the phone and let us know they open at 9:00. The two people working were very nice and went out of their way to whip up a small batch of sausage gravy for me. My husband loved the meat sauce (we don't have anything like this back home). Don't bother with the coffee though-just get a bottled beverage-they have plenty of choices!

We came as a larger group and they were nice enough for us to order from the breakfast menu as they switched over the lunch menu at 11:30am. Our table enjoyed the food but all agreed it wasn't worth the price point. I tried the chocolate croissant with homemade butter and maple bacon jam along with the Canadian bacon Benedict. The chocolate croissant was nice with the maple bacon jam but definitely not worth the price point of $12. The croissant was quite smaller, like the chocolate croissants you can get from Costco or Starbucks. The Canadian bacon eggs Benedict however was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I just am not sure again it was worth the high price point. However I definitely felt the service was missing. As we were the only ones in the dining area, I felt the service was missing the mark. The server saw we were carrying a baby in the restaurant but didn't ask if we wanted a high chair. My mother-in-law spied it in the corner and then we had to ask for it and we proceeded to set it up at the table. As I was with 2 young kids, I ordered some simple items before the main course like their chocolate croissant and fruit cup. I assumed the server would ask if we wanted those ahead of time but that didn't happen. He also had forgotten my son's drink order and which my son actually had to ask him after some time "where's my juice?" My older son had ordered the s'mores waffles and it looked good when it was delivered but as I cut some of it for me to try later on, I soon realized the batter was uncooked in the middle of most of them. I was thoroughly disappointed he had eaten some of it before I discovered it was uncooked. The server throughly apologized and they remade the order which in the end, we ended up taking home with us. They also didn't take the order off the check for us which normally that would happen. For such a classy restaurant, we would think they would know how to make waffles and for more top-notch service. I think next time we will just enjoy the nice views and choose to eat somewhere else when we are in the area.

Having made reservations for 7:30pm, we arrived early and waited for our table to be ready. We made a note in our reservation for a booth on the fireplace side, and the woman (host) worked hard to make sure that happened. After sitting down, we placed in a couple appetizers. The bacon-wrapped scallops were delightful. The bacon, crispy and the scallops incredibly tender. Served with a side of drawn butter, but these were delicious on their own. As for the loaded potato puffs, we received a generous number of puffs, and each one was also very tasty. The sriracha ranch sour cream was the cherry on top. For mains, we opted in for the prime rib, and Delmonico "cowboy" cut. The prime rim was incredibly tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Served with a phenomenal au jus, this is the best prime rib I've ever had. I can confidently say that about the Delmonico steak as well. This 20 oz. center-cut, bone-in was grilled to the perfect requested medium-rare. Seasoned perfectly, tender and juicy. Although I didn't care much for the gorgonzola cheese sauce, the steak was amazing. We also ordered a side of lobster tail. This was also incredibly tender and really brought the meals together. To end all things, we ordered their creme brulee served in a chocolate shell. This was a great dessert, although I would have preferred the custard to be firmer, and less chocolate sauce overall. I found the generous amount of chocolate sauce on the bottom of the plate, and on top of the creme brulee, on top of the chocolate shell they're served in to be over the top. Nevertheless, we enjoyed this dessert. I want to point out, all the staff members including the owner was very kind and welcoming. From the initial host to our server Lauren, to her boss who came around to ask us how everything was, the staff are very hospitable. Add in a warm and cozy dining room area with a fireplace, this is easily a 10/10 experience for us. We will make it a point to revisit more often and not years in between.

Staff was friendly and the building seemed newer and clean. The atmosphere was great but very loud. Immediately we smelled the seedoils coming out the hood vent smells just like Applebees. Compared the steaks from the rose tavern and definitely the wood fired grill was superior in quality and taste. Overall cost was comparable to the Rose Tavern. Very limited options for a Person with allergies or celiac disease. Overall the food was just Average but didn't justify the exorbitant pricing.

It is located in an older strip mall that has seen better days. The interiors are a bit dark and could use brighter lighting. While the inside isn't fancy, the restaurant was still well decorated and clean, and most importantly, serves up tasty and flavorful food. They also have an array of Indian snacks and drinks available for purchase/take out, which was a nice touch because they probably aren't readily available in the general area. To start off, we went with the vegetable bhajia (3.5/5) which were good, but would have preferred they made them a little crispier. For meals, we went the paneer makhani and vegetable muglai (both 4.5/5). Both dishes had gravies of high quality, which I wasn't expecting in the Finger Lakes area, as they could go toe to toe with quality Indian restaurants you find in the NJ/PA area. The naan (5/5) was fluffy and delicious as well. The service (I think by the owner) was warm and friendly. There weren't many customers which had us concerned a bit, but he explained that most of the restaurants in Canandaigua have an early dinner crowd and also tend to close early as most locals don't dine out very late. They do automatically add an 18% service charge, which we didn't mind as prices for everything were very reasonable and we probably would have tipped more than that anyway cause of the satisfying experience. Overall, I'd the restaurant a 4.5 out of 5, and would recommend Flavors for quality Indian cuisine in Canandaigua. I wouldn't hesitate to return here for a meal should my travels bring me back to the Finger Lakes.
