The food at this place is one of the best meals I have had. Really. Amazing. But the service. I came with my friend and we were immediately race profiled. We were asked what we wanted, somehow aggressive. We said "we want to eat", the waiter looked at the owner, she pointed to a table. We sat down. Five minutes after us a white male in his 50 arrived, he was immediately treated completely different, almost like royalty. "Sir, may we offer you this table? Please sit here.. blah blah blah". We were a little shaken. A couple minutes after a white Hetero couple arrives. They want a table but there is non available, so the tables are moved towards us so their table can be squished in, and there is a space of 20 cm between us and the next table (we were not asked if this bothered us).
Great food, but a need to be strong emotionally if you're not a white hetero man. read more
