We stayed a few days in the hotel adjacent to Pho Saigon and, as natives of Los Angeles - a city and region teeming w/Vietnamese restaurants, figured it would be a welcome change of fare. A very well appointed environment, we were looking forward to a great meal. Sadly, it was not to be. We ordered the fried rolls appetizer, silver noodles w/fried prawns and lemon grass beef. We got only two rolls (most restaurants usually serve four per order), the shrimp were battered, which masked the fact that they were fried in their shells (which meant having to constantly fish-out shell bits from our mouths) and the beef was overly salty. A nice looking place, but if you're not a fan of salty beef, chewing on shrimp shells or having to get an appetite going on a single fried roll, this wouldn't be my first stop. read more

It was raining all day in Vienna perfect time for some Pho. The place was very nice upscale in my opinion. Staff was attentive. Was seated right away but only with a 2 hour limit. We are visiting from America we were done in 30 minutes after the food was served we had the steak pho and the sampler rolls everything was delicious was not able to finish the sampler was a big serving. Absolutely amazing highly recommend. Stumbled into this lovely Vietnamese restaurant by chance on a Thursday evening around 7:30 pm. It was super crowded so we were not able to be seated until 9pm, but the amazing smells and atmosphere had got our attention so we walked around the area until we could be seated. The food it self was excellent. We ordered a few different dishes, my travel companions all enjoyed their dishes. Being from Norway I found the prices to be reasonable and the portions generous. If I make it back to Vienna in the future I will definitely be back! read more

To beat the cold, we went to Pho Sai Gon for two bowls of Pho Ga and left happy, full, and a bit warmer. The broth was great as was the shredded white meat chicken. Oddly we weren't offered a plate of bean sprouts, basil and so forth to personalize our pho but instead the bowls already included those items. I know that the platter was offered at the restaurant as we saw it offered to another table. read more

Food okay. Good lunch special on weekday. Not good customer service. We came and seat for 10 minutes waiting for server to take order, another 30 minutes to remind them about our food. They took our order again and took another 10 minutes for the food came out. The manager saw us first time when we came, we ask him about our food after order ;40' but he never say apology to forget our order. We was pissed off with his ignorance, finally our server came to said sorry. The restaurant was not that busy. read more

Had dinner here and ordered pork nems and chicken summerrolls as startes. The rolls were great, maybe a bit on the salty side. We also got bun with chicken and springrolls and crisp duck. The food was beautifully presented on the plate and with quite a lot of flavors. I wish there had been more vegetables in the bun and I also missed the sauce. Other than that it was a nice food experience. The restaurant was nice and modern looking and the staff was helpful and attentive. read more

This was one of my favorite places to go in Vienna when I had lived there. They were always friendly, and you pretty much can't go wrong with anything offered on the menu. The combination pho is also really good, the broth being rich and flavorful, with plenty of condiments on the side. Incidentally, I've watched a recent video about how to eat pho properly; those condiments that they give you on the side...yes, you can add it to your broth if you like, but generally the basil leaves are used to eat separately, to cool down your palate if you added too much chili to your soup, and/or to cool you down. And the sauces like the hot sauce and the plum sauce, are generally used for dipping the meats from the pho separately, but of course, do what you like. Anyway, getting back to the review.... I've also had the fresh spring rolls as well as the crispy fried spring rolls. Also very good. And if you are in the mood for something a little bit different, something other than pho or a rice dish, I recommend trying one of their "bun" bowls, which is very similar to a rice bowl, except they use rice noodles, and they top it off with grilled meat or seafood, vegetables, fried spring rolls, and a little bit of nuoc cham fish sauce. I have noticed that this place is also a very popular spot with both local Viennese as well as tourists and expats alike. It's really a great spot to go for a good meal, and I highly recommend it to anyone passing by. read more

This is probably one of the best pho I had in Europe! Pho was delicious, atmosphere was nice, our waiter had outstanding customer service and even made bomb drink! I absolutely love how their spoon doesn't dunk down into the broth when I sit the spoon up. That's a plus! && the portion of pho was a good decent amount. :) read more

We were desperate for some real Vietnamese food after traveling for 3 weeks and were lucky to find this place. Service was very friendly, our waiter spoke fluent Vietnamese and explained to us in detail of the restaurant's food and cooking style. We tried traditional pho and a few other standard Vietnamese dishes and all were of great quality and authentic taste. The restaurant definitely has a modern decor fitting in perfectly with Viennese style. We were all very impressed and would definitely eat here again! read more

We were craving some Asian food and we were surprised to find a Vietnamese place in the middle of Vienna. The waiter was very accommodating and friendly. I love how Austria uses the same food allergy system in all restaurants/food places so I knew exactly what each dish contained. The waiter was nice enough to make sure they didn't put fish sauce in my vegetarian pho. The pho was mediocre but it was nice to have some asian food once in a while while traveling in Europe. read more

Have been here many times, at various times of the year. In summer there is a pleasant terrace and in the winter we have sat inside - whether for a late lunch or a dinner, either as a couple or with friends. The food is very tasty, the pricing is surprisingly reasonable and the spiciness much better than many in Vienna. I particularly recommend their summer rolls as a starter, and have all sorts of mains. With drinks and two or three courses we usually end up paying around EUR 50 for two - although there is also a cheaper lunch option. Can heartily recommend it. read more

This is probably in of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Vienna! I went here last night with my Mom and Dad. We walked in and immediately got service to a table. The menu was huge and a large amount of things to choose from. If you like seafood then you should check out the seafood part of the menu ( very big ) but if you don't like seafood then you are going to be just fine with the amount that it has with out sea food! I got for starter the wan tan soup with glass noodles. When it came I was amazed about how clear the noodle were yes I know they are glass noodles but I didn't expect them to be absolutely clear! The soup was delicious 10/10! I didn't order a main meal because my mom and I were going to share the beef skewers. The beef came with rice noodle and this rice that you wrap your beef in! It was cool and very good at the same time. I loved it! I would definitely recommend this to everyone! I hope you find time to go here and love it! read more

Food was average. I ordered fried and stir fry cuttlefish. One tasted like rubber and fried tasted like cardboard. On top of that, I asked for a bowl of my for my 4 year old who is starving, the mother forgot. We kept asking she kept forgetting. 30 mins go by and then the rice comes out after we asked another waiter. Also I initially ordered a glass of remy and she forgot that as well. It came out 30 minutes later after asking 3 times. On top of that, it was filled by .25 of an inch for the price of 9.90 euros. Also I ordered water and she asked regular or bubbles. I said regular and she wrote it. After the entrees she kept asking regular or bubbles. Omg, must i say any more? Worst meal in Vienna. I was looking for a good hardy meal after coming back from an 8 hour tour from Budapest. Rather than paying 62 euros, it would have been better getting 3 gyros from a kyocsk for 15 euros. read more
