However, I recently came back for my routine cleaning and was told I needed to get my fillings fixed after i mentioned feeling sensitivity with eating sweets. This actually shocks me because my prior dentist before I discovered Le Dentistry ALWAYS had me waiting and I hated it. I had my appointment scheduled for the very next week, which I was dreading because I hate going to the dentist. There's just something about my teeth being worked on that I just absolutely dread. BUT when I came in for my appointment, I don't even know why I was dreading it. As always, they were very friendly and professional. I was taken back immediately, numbed immediately- I didn't feel a thing, and I had 3 fillings done. I was told I may feel sensitivity afterwards for a while, but my teeth have felt just fine since then. I no longer am bothered when i eat sweets. She was able to effectively find and treat a problem in one of my molars. My review has more to do with the office policies and the staff. So, I went for my first appointment and I was very happy, then I was referred to an endodontist and he was also very professional. I was scheduled with Gwinnett Family Dentistry (GFD) for a second appointment to finally get a crown in my molar, so they call me (GFD) and schedule my appointment, very nice lady, never mentioned any of their policies regarding changes or cancellations. On a Thursday, i receive a confirmation call from GFD and again, the nice lady never mentioned any of their policies or how long the procedure will take. So I confirm that I'm attending to my appointment, thinking that the procedure will take about an hour like in my first appointment, but what do I know??.. I'm just the patient who's never ever had a crown treatment before. So I call the day of my appointment, which was Monday, around 7:30-ish... I get Ingrid on the phone and I ask her how long is the treatment going to take? and she says "2 hours", and obviously I had no idea of the length because I was never informed. So I panic and I tell her that I can't make it because of work, I didn't know it would take 2 hours, and I have to reschedule..... I understand that I'm calling at the last minute, BUT.. Aren't they (GFD) supposed to inform you of these details before your actual appointment?? Anyways, she tells me there is a cancellation fee, and I tell her that I'm NOT cancelling, I'm rescheduling because I was not informed that the procedure would take that long. So she insists that is the same because is in the same day, less than 48 hours before my appointment. I get very upset, and I tell her that if they charge me a cancellation fee I will go to another dentists, obviously Ingrid doesn't care. She tell me that the administrator will be at their office the next day and she will call me... After a few minutes I call back and ask Ingrid how much the cancellation fee is?.... And her answer????.... " I don't know, the admin will call you tomorrow"... that never happened.... A week after, I receive a bill from them, it's only for $15, the original amount was $50 but after some credit they made I only "have" to pay $15, NOT my point... So my problem is..... Ingrid, works in that office, SHE tells me about the cancellation fee, but she doesn't know the amount.... So, how am I supposed to know about their policies if they never ever EVER mentioned them to me, the policies are not in their website and I was never informed by any of their staff, not when I scheduled my appointment and not when the nice lady called me to confirm my appointment.... But I have to know them????? Can someone please tell me what is the logic here????

Did not know what to expect, although one of my close relative is one of their patients and told me about their quality works. The young male dentist, I believe his name is Dr. Solomon Yakubov was so very nice & patient. He exam my teeth and explained every thing in details and put in the language that I totally understood. Also the American African lady from the front desk was also very nice. However, I did not care for the caucasian lady very much. We did not head it off very well, however, I know I am a very difficult patient, so that's probably why. They gave me a quote and it was very reasonable I believe since the prices for dental cares are off the roof these days. Although the price they gave me was only slightly higher then my original quote from another dental office. Plus, I have been on very tight budget since of my medical disability, so I have to watch where my every dollar goes. I was a patient of Dr. Roaches. He put to put two implants in my mouth and one of them was not…read moreright.This implant was always coming loose. They told me that he use third-party parts. It needs to be fixed and they wanted to help me out and they quoted me a price of $1900. I have a very good dental plan that covers implants so I wanted them to turn it into my insurance. They turned it into my insurance got another 500 and now I have a statement for $531 more so if you have insurance they will charge you $1000 more. They will switch the price when you have the procedure done. Please do not go here if you are one of Dr. Roach's old patients. They can't even update my address. I have not lived at the that Dr. Roach had on file in five years. I gave them my new address. They have been sending the statement there. I received an email yesterday stating my bill was past due. The office manager will sit in her corner office and is too good to speak to you. I have never seen Laura Koch in this office. The only dentist that I have seen here is Dr. Shoal Adesoji-Stokes.
