TikTok brought me here; great marketing, I will say. Wow, what a great experience I had here trying out this place for the first time, and they did not disappoint. What an amazing, friendly staff that was very helpful and informative, with great customer service and knowledge. I had a good experience with Bianca and Ashley. I believe Bianca did my teeth cleaning, during which she informed me with a lot of details on what needs to be done, and Ashley did my X-rays, making me feel comfortable while taking multiple pictures as we talked. I had the opportunity to meet one of the nice young doctors; I can't remember his name, but he was a tall gentleman, light-skinned with dreads. I can tell he was young, and I was happy to see a Black man. The staff was a good mix of many African Americans (Black), which definitely made me want to try the place out--almost all Black staff, including doctors, nurses, and dental assistants, or proper terms, dental hygienists. Don't forget the lovely Latino ladies too! The atmosphere was fun and professional; I would definitely be back to support the business. They are even open on Saturday and Sunday--seven days a week! Could you imagine not having to miss work or school for a dental appointment? The decor was simple but nice as well. I believe they also have merchandise they sell with the business name and logo.

Let me start by saying that this review has nothing to do with the Doctor that was treating me, my…read moreshort experience with Dr. Fabiola Palacios was amazing, she's very professional and very thorough. She was able to effectively find and treat a problem in one of my molars. My review has more to do with the office policies and the staff. So, I went for my first appointment and I was very happy, then I was referred to an endodontist and he was also very professional. I was scheduled with Gwinnett Family Dentistry (GFD) for a second appointment to finally get a crown in my molar, so they call me (GFD) and schedule my appointment, very nice lady, never mentioned any of their policies regarding changes or cancellations. On a Thursday, i receive a confirmation call from GFD and again, the nice lady never mentioned any of their policies or how long the procedure will take. So I confirm that I'm attending to my appointment, thinking that the procedure will take about an hour like in my first appointment, but what do I know??.. I'm just the patient who's never ever had a crown treatment before. So I call the day of my appointment, which was Monday, around 7:30-ish... I get Ingrid on the phone and I ask her how long is the treatment going to take? and she says "2 hours", and obviously I had no idea of the length because I was never informed. So I panic and I tell her that I can't make it because of work, I didn't know it would take 2 hours, and I have to reschedule..... I understand that I'm calling at the last minute, BUT.. Aren't they (GFD) supposed to inform you of these details before your actual appointment?? Anyways, she tells me there is a cancellation fee, and I tell her that I'm NOT cancelling, I'm rescheduling because I was not informed that the procedure would take that long. So she insists that is the same because is in the same day, less than 48 hours before my appointment. I get very upset, and I tell her that if they charge me a cancellation fee I will go to another dentists, obviously Ingrid doesn't care. She tell me that the administrator will be at their office the next day and she will call me... After a few minutes I call back and ask Ingrid how much the cancellation fee is?.... And her answer????.... " I don't know, the admin will call you tomorrow"... that never happened.... A week after, I receive a bill from them, it's only for $15, the original amount was $50 but after some credit they made I only "have" to pay $15, NOT my point... So my problem is..... Ingrid, works in that office, SHE tells me about the cancellation fee, but she doesn't know the amount.... So, how am I supposed to know about their policies if they never ever EVER mentioned them to me, the policies are not in their website and I was never informed by any of their staff, not when I scheduled my appointment and not when the nice lady called me to confirm my appointment.... But I have to know them????? Can someone please tell me what is the logic here????

It's safe to say I found a great dentistry here. I was referred to this dentistry by my friend Fateemah, who knows the dentist at this practice, and also recommended her to my family as they preferred someone that spoke Spanish. My family said great things about the practice, so I decided to go for it. I called the office and was able to get an appointment very easily. I didn't know what exactly I needed done except for a cleaning, but the receptionist (sorry for not remembering your name) suggested for me to get X-rays taken, only if I knew when the last time it was done or if my insurance had records of it so that I knew it'd be covered by them. Luckily I had that information and knew it'd be covered. When I arrived, Nandi (spell check) was very sweet and professional when taking the X-rays, she made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. My cleaning was done by Jessica. Five stars just for the cleaning! She was very thorough with the cleaning, going the extra mile to explain what she was doing and informing me of things that can negatively affect one's oral health. She reminded me so much of Fateemah, as she too was thorough when she did my cleaning. Jessica gave me tips on what kind of ingredient to look for in toothpaste to ensure I take good care of my teeth. After the cleaning, I met with Dr. Febo-Cuello to discuss the X-rays taken. She gave me the bad news of cavities, but assured me it's not that major. She also was able to give me a referral to another doctor for an implant, as I never got around to getting one after my extraction. She gave me good news that the chipped tooth could be filled in instead of going straight for a root canal, so I was happy about that! I went to her again for the fillings and I gotta say it was painless! Once the procedure was done, she even told me of the slight possibility of needing a root canal, should I have sensitivity on one of the tooth she filled in, but again, reassured me that that shouldn't be the case. To summarize this essay, I can safely say I was recommended to a great practice. Dr. Febo-Cuello and her team are amazing and I appreciate the thoroughness they all exhibited during my visits. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Did not know what to expect, although one of my close relative is one of their patients and told me about their quality works. The young male dentist, I believe his name is Dr. Solomon Yakubov was so very nice & patient. He exam my teeth and explained every thing in details and put in the language that I totally understood. Also the American African lady from the front desk was also very nice. However, I did not care for the caucasian lady very much. We did not head it off very well, however, I know I am a very difficult patient, so that's probably why. They gave me a quote and it was very reasonable I believe since the prices for dental cares are off the roof these days. Although the price they gave me was only slightly higher then my original quote from another dental office. Plus, I have been on very tight budget since of my medical disability, so I have to watch where my every dollar goes. Only if I did not already have appointment with another dental office this afternoon and with the amount of exams they put into. I will definitely have Dr. Yakubov as my choice. Thank you & sorry.

They turned it into my insurance got another 500 and now I have a statement for $531 more so if you have insurance they will charge you $1000 more. They will switch the price when you have the procedure done. Please do not go here if you are one of Dr. Roach's old patients. They can't even update my address. I have not lived at the that Dr. Roach had on file in five years. I gave them my new address. They have been sending the statement there. I received an email yesterday stating my bill was past due. The office manager will sit in her corner office and is too good to speak to you. I have never seen Laura Koch in this office. The only dentist that I have seen here is Dr. Shoal Adesoji-Stokes.

Charged me $400 for service and refused to explain what I was being charged for. The receptionist used a condescending tone with me. The dentist decided I shouldn't be charged instead of apologizing; the receptionist called the manager to handle the refund instead of just refunding and apologizing. 2. There were 3 dentists in the span of a few months. One told me not to have my tooth pulled, and I needed a root canal and filling. The second told me I needed 2 root canals and tried to base my service solely off of X-Rays. It wasnt until I started questioning the change in service that the dentist took time to talk to me and turns out a completely different service was needed 3. Scheduled me for a 7:00 AM appointment that didn't exist. I showed up and was told I could drive to a different location and wait until 9:00 AM when the dentist came in. (took off work and cleared meetings off my schedule to make this appointment) 4. When I came late after they messed up my appointment, I had to argue with them to be seen. There is no compassion in this office, and this is one of the most difficult dentist appointments I have ever experienced. I will never be back. They recently had a change in ownership and clearly have not gotten their bearings. I was called multiple times for appointments already scheduled, told I would get calls for referrals that never came and was left to figure out everything for myself. As someone who is in healthcare operations you all need to do better. The only answer I was given was " We just do what our boss tells us".
