I have not lived at the that Dr. Roach had on file in five years. I gave them my new address. They have been sending the statement there. I received an email yesterday stating my bill was past due. It's safe to say I found a great dentistry here. I was referred to this dentistry by my friend Fateemah, who knows the dentist at this practice, and also recommended her to my family as they preferred someone that spoke Spanish. My family said great things about the practice, so I decided to go for it. I called the office and was able to get an appointment very easily. I didn't know what exactly I needed done except for a cleaning, but the receptionist (sorry for not remembering your name) suggested for me to get X-rays taken, only if I knew when the last time it was done or if my insurance had records of it so that I knew it'd be covered by them. Luckily I had that information and knew it'd be covered. When I arrived, Nandi (spell check) was very sweet and professional when taking the X-rays, she made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. My cleaning was done by Jessica. Five stars just for the cleaning! She was very thorough with the cleaning, going the extra mile to explain what she was doing and informing me of things that can negatively affect one's oral health. She reminded me so much of Fateemah, as she too was thorough when she did my cleaning. Jessica gave me tips on what kind of ingredient to look for in toothpaste to ensure I take good care of my teeth. After the cleaning, I met with Dr. Febo-Cuello to discuss the X-rays taken. She gave me the bad news of cavities, but assured me it's not that major. She also was able to give me a referral to another doctor for an implant, as I never got around to getting one after my extraction. She gave me good news that the chipped tooth could be filled in instead of going straight for a root canal, so I was happy about that! I went to her again for the fillings and I gotta say it was painless! Once the procedure was done, she even told me of the slight possibility of needing a root canal, should I have sensitivity on one of the tooth she filled in, but again, reassured me that that shouldn't be the case. To summarize this essay, I can safely say I was recommended to a great practice. Dr. Febo-Cuello and her team are amazing and I appreciate the thoroughness they all exhibited during my visits. I went in…read morebecause I had a toothache and figured I would probably need a filling and I needed my yearly cleaning completed. When the dentist examined my teeth which took about 25 seconds, she said I needed 7 fillings and a deep cleaning. I was certainly taken by surprise as I had never in my life even had 1 cavity. I agreed to have all of them filled as she said it was imperative. She also said I needed to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed within 2 weeks as that could be causing much of my pain. By the way I was 5 and a half months pregnant and I am a healthy 30 years old. I asked if it was something I could hold off on until after the baby arrives and she said it could cause severe damage to my gums if not removed. I set an appointment for 2 weeks out. They don't actually do wisdom tooth extractions at that office so they sent me to their Roswell office which is very dirty, unsanitary and unprofessional. While I was there, they finished my "deep cleaning" and extracted my wisdom teeth. They gave me shots in my gums and later I found out that there was damage to the gums from the way they administered the shots. I was in a lot of pain for about 3 weeks. I kept going back to ask her to check my teeth because I knew something was wrong on the upper left side. She then said. "Well you need a root canal" I told her my entire reasoning for going to see her was for a toothache on the bottom of my mouth. Now my upper part is painful! After visiting her time and time again, I ended up going to a different dentist in Lilburn today as the pain was unbearable (3 months later) that was FANTASTIC. She found that The dentist at Smiles on peachtree has drilled too deep for my upper tooth and did not fill it properly. I did end up getting a root canal and they found that the infection had spread significantly and there was a large infection Inside the tooth. It was the first time this particular dentist had seen an actual infection to that degree inside the tooth and not in the gum. I was prescribed actual antibiotics that work unlike at Smiles on Peachtree. Thisninfection could have caused major damage and I am glad I was able to get the treatment I needed. I do not want anyone to experience what I had to go through because of a practice looking to make as much money on their patients as possible. Smilesnon peachtree was purchased less than a year ago (2017) so all of the previous reviews should be void as those dentists are no longer with the practice. I arrived to the office and I was immediately taken back by the Dental Hygentist Nancy. She was AMAZING!!! She had the hands of a God!!!! I didn't even feel her in my mouth!!!
