First of all, the gorgeous ladies in the front desk are so nice and sweet and helpful. It's a breath of fresh air compared to some other doctors offices I been to. Having nice ladies with great customer service in the front is always a great experience. Their dental hygienist Lily Pham is such a pleasure. She makes you feel like she really cares about you and your teeth's health. She will use a skinny tool to measure your gum health. It kinda hurts if your gums had inflammation, with that tool, the lower score you get the better. All that aside, the deep cleaning was a game changer. Other than one front office staff, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Andy, in particular, is one of the best dental hygienist that I have encountered. He is completely bilingual (English and Korean). He is very thorough, explains each step clearly, never rushes through his cleanings, remembers little patient details, and very kind. Dr. Kim is a man of not many words but good at what he does. I really wanted to give that one front office staff member the benefit of the doubt the first time I came but she was rude again the second time I came by. When I entered for my appointment, there was no greeting. Just a quick glance down at me and she asked for my name. Upon checkout, she was on the phone with someone arguing with them in a very belligerent tone of voice. At a certain point while still looking at her computer, she said ,"when can you next come in" and I genuinely was not sure who she was talking to. She then proceeded to rudely say ,"hello? I didn't have time to do that before the move, so I had to look for a dentist here. I went with Coast Dental since it's an In-Network-Provider with my insurance. I could tell from the moment I walked in that I was only seen as a dollar sign! I brought all of my x-rays and doctor's notes from my last dentist and they didn't even bother to look at it. They just wanted to take more x-rays(even though I had them the prior month) and get started on my crown. They didn't know anything about my previous dental history or even listen to me, but wanted to get started on my crown right away! You cannot trust an office that doesn't try to listen to their patients or look at their dental/medical history. I refused treatment with them and looked for another dentist. I go to Atlanta dental spa in Roswell now. It's is a little far from Duluth and more expensive, but at least they are good and listen to their patients. Stay away from Coast dental!
