The first job was a through cleaning for a make-ready at a vacant home. Maria and her team cleaned the property from top to bottom, including the windows inside and out. She was even able to get the grout sparking on a 60+ year old tile floor. Pricing was fair and I could not have been more pleased. The second job was to clean 27 windows inside and out. It was a big job, and they completed it even though it started to rain. They stuck it out and finished the job. Now I have squeaky clean windows. The most recent project was a thorough cleaning in an occupied home. Once again she and her team did an excellent job. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to recommend N & S domestics. We had them come out to our…read morehome in order to clean it. It is a 2 bed 2 bath unit and they sent over two people for 1.5 hours. During the course of the cleaning they broke a glass lamp shade. The cleaning crew indicated that the company has an insurance policy and that they would cover the damage. When I called the corporate office, I was asked to send over the details behind the lamp shade, which I promptly did. I received the following response: "Good Afternoon Mr. X We have reviewed the information that you have provided and upon further investigation in regard to yesterdays broken lamp glass, unfortunate these things happen when things are not tighten correctly. We take as much precaution as much as we can in certain circumstances that are without our control. With that being said we gave you a $35 dollars credit toward the fireplace cleaning that was not included with the Morgans deal. as we clarified that with your wife that she was receiving a basic cleaning only. The fire place is normally $45.00 but we didn't charge you for it.. Thank-You for using N&S Domestics" It is highly unlikely that cleaning the fireplace took more than 5 minutes and it seem ridiculous that anyone would charge $45 for this service. Furthermore, we then discovered that while cleaning our home, the cleaning staff had thrown the dirty water from mopping the floor onto our deck leaving a large area of discoloration on our carefully stained wooden deck. We asked N&S Domestics to rectify the situation and received the following response. "Mr A, We take pride in the service we provide especially when you received a great discounted rate for the cleaning. Our goal is to acquire repeat business from these types of promotions. We apologize for any frustration that you may have. With this large of a discoloration on your deck, this should have been a priority of discussion immediately along with the lamp issue. We do not use any bleach or products that would cause discoloration. The day of service you and the cleaners did the walk through of their work; you stated that you were satisfied with our service. The cleaners informed us the day of service that it was raining and they didn't use your back deck at all because they saw it had a lot of leaves on it. N&S Domestics requires that our employes use caution when entering or exiting the house, as to not track in or out any dirt or cause a possible injury. They used the front as it was raining and muddy. Due to the time lapse in reporting your concern with the deck and stating during the walk though that you were satisfied with the services rendered, we are not responsible for the deck issue. Regards, SG Owner " It is possible that some people may find this level of service acceptable and if they do, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell them at a really good price.

The wifey met the three maids, a dude and two dudettes, and didn't get the friendly hello, but they did start on the job at hand. It's always difficult to have strangers in the house, so a friendly hello and perhaps introduction to who they were would of gone a long way. Especially since this was a first time out, it would of been nice if they would of taken a tour of the house and ask what area's needed specific attention, etc. You know, kinda of a "Hey thanks for giving us an opportunity, how can we impress you with our service" thing. Get to know ya before you get mounted...so to speak. The result of the cleaning was ok. And what I mean by that is it wasn't better than what we had been experiencing with our regular crew. The house had been cleaned every two weeks, so it was far from a huge mess, especially since Suzi always needs to clean up a little before the maids arrive. Something which I will never understand. We don't have any animals which includes kids, so it should of been a fairly straight forward job. Our house is approx 1800 Sq Ft for reference purposes. What was curious was the price. On our current arrangement we pay $80 every other week for two folks to come out, no contract, no fuss. With Austin All Maids, it's done by the hour and with three folks the cleaning came to $125. So for $45 more, we got pretty much the same result. We weren't provided an estimate, which would of been nice, but had the result been significantly different, it may have justified the cost. We don't feel like we were taken for a ride or anything, but the cost didn't justify the means. Perhaps if they would of first sent out an individual to do a review of the house and then quote us a price, we could of saved them the time and us $45, since I doubt we would of hired them knowing that going in.
