So, NexusTours has got to be the most incompetent Transport service company or they are a LEGITIMATE FRAUDULENT COMPANY operating under the guise of a serious company. These people play a very slick game by taking your money then pretending like they show up when they don't, at least in mine and my brothers experience, along with the multiple reviews I've come to discover. I booked an arrival and departure ride for my brother in Los Cabos Mexico for $68, they never showed up for the arrival, then lied about it, saying they never saw my brother. My brother on the other hand told me that the Nexustour representative he went to said "he wasn't on the list". My brother ended up paying $90 for a cab to get to the resort. When I reported this to Nexus, like I said they denied, and ask for the receipt he paid the cab, so they can confirm he never rode with Nexus (this, after claiming that their rep never saw him), then process a refund. So I sent a pic of the receipt, and the response was - "What was he wearing" & "what was the name of the Nexus rep he talked to": AKA very irrelevant questions that they know they're unlikely to get an answer from because NOBODY remembers the names of these drivers who you meet just one time and barely even speak to.
Realizing I wasn't getting anywhere with the complaint, I decided to move on from that and asked them to just make sure they don't screw up the departure pick up.
Departure day came. I waited at the resort they were supposed to be at before all the transport companies even arrived, I saw every other one but NexusTours. I waited for 2 hrs because I wanted to make sure there's no screw up this time. But they were a No show. Even the transport coordinator was confused and confirmed that they are a NO SHOW! The coordinator realizing my frustration then took me to a different hotel across the street, where we found a NexusTours Rep and quickly let her know what the issue is. After she confirmed that my brother was on the list she told me the ride had already left. I said "how is that possible when you guys didn't show up at the confirmed location of pick-up. She tried to claim that they were there, and I shut her down by telling her "I was there for 2 hrs and they didn't show up, even the trans coordinator confirmed that". She took a min to do some research or talk to a higher rep and came back to me telling she apologizes for the misunderstanding and can only advise me to take an uber. And that was that. My brother ended up taking another taxi for his departure and paid $84. I would love to post the back and forth email interactions btw me and the Nexustours rep I made my complaints to but this is already a very long write up. All I'll say is you can tell these people know they are incompetent and try to play games to either get move on or to feel like it might be your fault. They pretend like they are trying to resolve something or are willing to refund you when they have absolutely zero intentions of doing so. Once you out maneuver their sneaky email pretensive fake-concern act, prove them wrong, get straight to the point, and put them in a position where they have to refund you, they stop responding.
If I had done a little bit of research before picking a ride there's no way I would've picked nexustours because I checked the reviews after they screwed up the arrival pick up, and as I suspected, I'm not alone, so many negative reviews. Negative reviews that are detailed with how they screwed up and they were so many similar cases to mine. So I'll have to conclude that in my opnion - NexusTours IS SCAM!, A FRADULENT company. They might have been legit in the beginning to attract customers which could explain why people still try them, but they're MOST DEFINITELY NOT a legit company now. They are incompetent and can't be relied on. You're better off picking anything else. read more
