Later, they called to say several major components were bad, so I replaced them with new high-end parts. A week later, they claimed another major component had failed. He did not have one but offered to sell me the projector that would work with my computer at a good price, even offered to bring it over to the hotel I was staying in. The projector was defective, the lens would only focus a screen size no bigger than my laptop itself and the light was so dim that it was not functional. Fortunately, was able to get an adapter from another source and was able to do the presentation. When I returned the device, Mike avoided phone calls and messages and eventually said, " I can't refund your money until I get some money coming in" Well, that was six months ago, no sign of the check in the mail. If this place still is in business, I would recommend avoiding it. I certainly would be open to discussing this review with an owner or manager and if I were to receive the promised refund, would alter my review.

Took my hard drive in, they transferred all my photos, all my emails from outlook express, 3 different accounts, all my documents, to the new hard drive. They set up all the email accounts so they were up and running when I plugged it in. That was my nightmare and one of the reasons I have waited so long to update. Photos, documents, storage. Mike spent time with me asking me how I went about various tasks, which enabled him to pull in files that were not automatically pulled in, (in which the other programmer missed when I purchased a laptop last year) It is frustrating enough without problems. Avoid the frustration, problems and save yourself time and $$$. Call Mike Hines at Redline Computers.
