Migraine. Three weeks. The Dr there was rude with no compassion or empathy. Refused a simple drink of water because I was on an IV drip for hydration. Gave me a medication that I was allergic to. This hospital has been my go to place for blood clot, Covid twice and yes one other migraine years ago. One nightmare on top of another nightmare. I have been frequenting this urgent care for over a decade, and appreciate the care I regularly receive. It is pretty easy to schedule an appointment through the Solv app, so make sure to download if you plan to visit this location. There is some feedback I would like to provide to move this from a 4-star to a 5-star: -Keep paperwork on the Solv app if you want to reference a previous visit. -Read prior history before going into the room. I get routine bronchitis and respond better to certain medications. I try to recall, but when feeling poorly it can be hard to remember. Overall, though an urgent care visit can be costly the quality of care and ease of booking keeps this as my regular office to visit. read more

My boyfriend got his finger bit off by a dog, while walking... we went to this clinic. The woman asks for medical insurance. We tell her we have it, but not on us -- he was JUST walking and got bit by a dog. She says, "that's not my problem" in a snotty way. My boyfriend called her a few choice words and we walked out. Not good at all!!! I have gone recently for a COVID-19 test, a rapid test. Now, I have also submitted my health insurance details. The results of the rapid test came two days after the test was taken; not so rapid I'd say. Then I received a bill for around $100. Not sure why... I called the customer service line, and there is not customer service. After 30minutes waiting, I was told that they would check why the $100 dollar was invoiced to me. No further feedback to me was provided. A week later I received a letter from a debt collector. Result: I do not have COVID-19, my credit score suffered, and Next Care doesn't care at all. I can't say I'm impressed or eager to revisit. First, I find it extremely unsatisfactory to demand payment PRIOR to being seen. I guess I understand why, because I probably would have argued paying $100 for the half-care received, after the fact. It was NEVER disclosed there is NO REAL DOCTOR ON STAFF! I was seen by a PA, and that wasn't announced until they actually entered the room. I had Ariana Barcelo. And honestly, she didn't listen to a thing I said, but was quite dismissive & judgmental. Not what I would call a good "bedside manner". Having had walking pneumonia & acute bronchitis two years in a row, prior, I already knew what I was being seen for & eeded. However, she didn't feel like listening to a word I said, and decided to scorn me for being a smoker. I didn't ask for a parent, I asked for professional, medical treatment for my condition. I knew I was running a fever that hadn't gone down in 3 days. She did not take my temperature at all. She also failed to listen to my heart rate while checking my breathing. Was more concerned with scolding my blood pressure- which I tried to explain is high due to anxiety & the pain I'm in from being sick for an entire week! Brought in a breathing machine & so I sat there for about 45 minutes... WELL after it had run it's course. Then I was literally told "take these scripts I wrote- bye." Well, I'm not happy I had to see an assistant instead of a doctor, yet paid $100 even before I was seen. She didn't do a thorough exam. I'm still sitting here with symptoms nearly a week later. What was prescribed barely dented- so I'm now having to wait to be seen by a REAL doctor. The only praise I can give this- the front desk staff was very polite & on top of their check-in process. It didn't take long to be seen as a walk-in. Checking in online would have had me waiting until 4:30pm for an opening... but I walked in at 1:30pm and was taken to be seen by 2pm. I don't suggest checking in online! And the facility was very clean, quiet & decent. I didn't mind waiting there, with some old classic sitcoms to entertain on the tv in the waiting room. So the amount of time spent in the facility was rather decent, and I praise I wasn't sitting there sick for hours! But, the upfront payment demanded to see a PA, which wasn't disclosed, and then not being properly treated or taken seriously really irks me to the point of where I want to file a formal complaint. My health is more important than your assistant who was quick to dismiss & push me out like another number or notch on the belt. I should have been given more than a breathing treatment & script for a cough suppressant when the diagnosis was walking pneumonia & acute bronchitis! read more

I went there for a UTI and had to wait a week for the results of the culture. I finished the antibiotic and still had issues. They told me they could not prescribe any medication stronger to help me and to go to my primary care or emergency room. What is that all about? They could not prescribe an antibiotic? Very disappointed with this information. What is an urgent care for? Now I cannot get into my primary provider and the emergency room is too costly. My primary says to go to another urgent care so more money spent for something Next Care should have been able to help me with after my results came in. read more

I'm giving this place two stars because the staff is friendly. I recently went here because my ear was clogged. Literally I was deaf in my right ear. The doctor said I had a severe double ear infection (which didn't make sense to me because my right ear worked just fine and I wasn't having any pain, but took her word for it because she's the doctor). After taking the meds and the ear drops, there was no change. I went to Walmart and spent $6 on an ear cleaning syringe with wax softening drops because MY urgent care that I normally go to told me that all they're going to do is flush my ears before I paid. Not only that but while trying to cancel my appointment the front desk lady was very rude. I encourage everyone to look at other options in the area. My wife brought our daughter here last night for her sports physical, they said it would be over an hour long wait but offered to make an appointment for tonight to avoid the wait. They gave her the paperwork to fill out and advised us to check in online. Great, sound advice to this point. However, we checked in online @ 5:45, walked in and no staff insight for almost 10 mins. Upon their arrival they looked at the paperwork we filled out and said it was last years paperwork, gave us new ones to fill out again. 2 practitioners would not give out antibiotics 2 separate times I went in for several symptoms. Probably a week apart and NOT GETTING BETTER BUT WORSE. Told if at 61 yrs of age I didn't have ear infection I couldn't get antibiotic for this sickness that was getting worse. Said she would not treat me and to leave. This was the 2 nd appt . Neither Dr looked at my ears or throat or listened to heartbeat lungs. Horrible. So arrogant both of them. Turner I think was the second one Kristen and the first was a tall blonde. Turner stood by the door with her mask on asking me questions wouldn't even come near me. Husband had same thing and dr A nair gave him antibiotic and he improved. I had to go to a third Dr just to feel somewhat better with antibiotics and still not 100%. Not caring at all. The second Dr I saw turner her assisted asked me if I wanted to go home after I waited an hour laying down in office for a telehealth appt. Drove there and paid my copay and asked me if I wanted to turn around and go back home and do telehealth appt. Now we all know that was the NP words. No MA is going to offer me that option. Nurses were so rude. Nobody wants to be treated poorly while they were sick, and if you can't handle that then you chose the wrong profession to be in. The doctor also told me he doubts I have covid because I've had it before. From my understanding you can get it twice and there is a new variant? I would give 0 stars if I could. My previous review was for an appointment I had in October 2017. Update 1/27/18: Took my husband over to check up for a possible strep issue. It was an ear infection we found out. Mr Michel, the PA who saw my husband, was thorough professional and very interested in answering our questions and concerns. Again, we had an excellent experience here. I was asking the receptionist about why they have me send personal information to the solv app that isn't saved over and over anytime we come here. You could tell she wasn't happy as I was keeping her from chit chatting with other employees. I only say this because my 45 min wait turned into 2 hours. People were basically walking straight into be seen but here we sit because we didn't have an appointment. The eta to be seen was 45 minutes. I could have waited 3x the eta so she was being petty and making us wait because I asked a couple questions that I guess upset her. BTW the answer was, if you want to be seen use the solv app or go away. We stayed as we were roughly 10minutes from being seen according to her eta and as you now know it was just over an hour and a half away not 10 min. read more

After an hour waiting we ended up leaving due to a negative experience with the receptionist. Because we were self pay the receptionist would not let us see the doctor unless we consented to having certain tests run like strep, flu and other tests. I asked the receptionist that the appropriate tests would be decided between the doctor and the patient during the initial examination and nobody could foresee what testing would be warranted. The receptionist was adamant that she knew what she was talking about and the doctor would not want to see us if we did not consent in advance for various testing. The receptionist said there was no way to know what we have unless we run every test and agree to it upfront. If I could I would give a BIG (0). This place is a joke my in laws went there to get a Covid test done and all they did was a BP Check, Throat check, and a scope check on the lungs and that was it. They ended up calling them to tell them that their test was Negative for Covid......What the hell!!! WHAT TEST!! They didnt swab or collected any specimen according to my in law but the office states that they did do a test because they have results which are not theirs but they say they are. I told them that this is about to get investigated because whatever they did was not right. My In laws are currently home super sick and in the bedroom to get a negative result which by the way it is not their specimen or tissue collection. If they where to go out and about and get other sick because this place stated that they are negative they will get other people sick. This is due to Negligence and malpractice. And they cant talk to me due to HIPPA even with my in laws consent..... I've worked with family practice and this work that they did was off the chain and they should be held accountable for it because due to things like this .... Service was poor I got stitches and 1 day later one fell out and a second day later another fell out. The suture is unsure how to tie them so some were extremely tight tearing my skin and others came untied and fell out. All uneven and some super close I had to rip them out because they healed in the cut and I couldn't cut them. I'll never come here again. After asking them how much it would be they said 250. After everything was done price was 450. They lied and did a really bad job. Tried calling for a resolution and I was told I received the care and there was nothing they were going to do for me. Terrible/horrifying experience from the beginning. If I could I would rate this a 0 or negative star. The system doesn't allow that. Critical information...don't stop reading here...read the entire review. Had a 3pm apptmt but had to wait 45 minutes at least before being seen because there were 10 walk-ins ahead of me. While I sat in the waiting room a lady with some kind of a leopard print mask of some sort sat across from me with the mask dangling from one ear. After about 5 minutes she went outside at which point I went to the receptionist and reminded them we are in the midst of a pandemic and that they should require her/everyone waiting to wear a mask or wait outside. If they don't have a mask the clinic should provide one. As I am stating my request one receptionist moves her mask from her chin and places it over her mouth and nose. Then 2 young girls come in and sit down next to me...spacing of chairs the same as they would be if there was no pandemic...because of the seating arrangements. No temps/brief medical histories/screenings to identify Covid were being taken...a standard for much of Minnesota clinics. There was no easily visible hand sanitizer in the reception area, in the exam room hallway or in the exam room. Not even sure there was any anywhere. Joint Commission (an international organization that develops safety and quality standards and then surveys providers for compliance) infection control standards require hand sanitizer to be readily accessible in all areas of patient treatment and to be used before and after all patient contacts. If none is present then all patient care staff are to perform good hand washing before and after all patient contacts. The provider who did my exam neither washed her hands or used hand sanitizer. When I finally had the exam I asked for a physical therapy referral . The provider agreed this would be of benefit but nurse practitioners in an urgent care setting in Arizona cannot order therapy. I believe in Minnesota they can. The conditions of this clinic are especially troublesome and appalling since this is a place where many elderly winter residents go for care. These winter residents are in the very high risk category for contracting and dying from Covid. While I am definitely no Anthony Fauci or Michael Osterholm, I am a recently retired registered nurse. I spent 35 years as CEO of home care agencies which required writing comprehensive and complete infection control procedures and ensuring compliance of ALL staff members. I was also involved with annual disaster planning which the majority of the time involved role playing a pandemic response. This clinic is not just an unsafe environment... it is a dangerous environment for elderly patients. I will NOT go back to this or any NextCare Urgent Care clinic in Arizona as I firmly believe this is a corporate culture issue. My recommendation to ALL elderly individuals seeking care... avoid going there until they become Joint Commission certified. You will know this by the sticker in their window or you can call them and ask if they are accredited. read more

I brought my child in at 11am and made an "appointment" for 5pm due to it was busy and he was sick. I get here around 4:45 and the VERY RUDE front desk lady said she was just checking us in at 5:10. Mind you I hade paperwork done already from my 11am visit. She then told me it was not an appt. But a reservation. She then very rudely said "if he's in that much pain maybe you should go to an E.R. This has to be by far the worst urgent care ever. The front desk is absolutely helpless and has zero knowledge of anything that is happening! "How much will today's visit cost?" "Uh, well I don't really know..." "How long will the wait be?" "Uh, well I don't really know..." "Do you know how long till we can see a provider?" "Uh, well I don't really know..." U-S-E-L-E-S-S!!! Then when you do get back to see the provider, their urgency is crap! The people are definitely nice here however without insurance it is a 135 for a first time visit with no test needed with test it is 185. . . Personally that is too expensive and i personally should have gone to walgreens to have the same stuff done for less then 100 dollars. (Which I did not know about until the following day). I went in with my tonsils swollen red, white lines and lightly bleeding. They did a strep test they claimed it came back negative and I caught my symptoms too early to the point nothing had grown. . . Personally that is a load of crap when my tonsils were swollen so bad. They also refused to do a mono test which I have previously been claimed to have do to an amoxicillin rash. This clinic is nice however lazy as well. My name is Kevin Edd. I have been to urgentcare Apache Junction 2 times this year. My first visit was for a sore and swollen foot. After the doctor examined my foot and numerous x rays were taken I was told it was a sprain. take some tylenol and put it on ice for a day and I would be fine. 1 week later I ended up at a foot specialist. My foot was broken. my second visit was for pain caused by a kidney stone. severe pain when I urinated. They took a urine sample which looked horrible to me. I was given a antibiotic and told the urine sample would take 4 days for the results. 2 days later I was in banner health care emergency room with a temperature of 107.9. I had a uti from the kidney stone I passed, a kidney infection and a blood infection. I was admitted into the hospital where I spent 4 days. I was in pretty serious condition and could have died if I hadnt drove myself to er at that moment. Im not sure if I would even recommend this facility for a minor cut. Unfortunatly 1 star is the lowest I can give. I never did here back about the lab test. read more

When I asked the front desk why I had not been seen, she told me that it was just really backed up due to a patient that took a long time and only 1 provider. I responded by asking her what good an appointment is if it isn't honored? Why did you not tell me when I checked in that you were running really late? Checked in online and still had a 30 minute wait once I arrived. Nurse was snippy with me when taking my blood pressure, temp, etc... she acted annoyed that she had to work. I told the doctor about my current medication and she still wrote me a prescription for a medicine that is "never to be taken with --- as it can cause heart failure". When I pointed this out to her the reply was "well that is just a medicine a lot of people like". Wow, I really don't care if it is the trendy new thing, I would rather not experience heart failure as a result of a drug interaction. Took my daughter in on Sunday December 29th 2019 at 9 am due to coughing with sharp pain in her left side rib and pain when she breaths. At admission She wrote In the reason why she's there and concerns of probably having pneumonia (she had pneumonia in the past). The Male PA who checked her did not ask for any history or why she's concerned about pneumonia. He just prescribed cough suppressants but nothing else to get ready of the junk. She's 18 years old and finally went to a DOCTOR who took X- rays and yes, she have pneumonia. This place should be shut down the PAs know nothing to treat people. read more
