They referred me to an orthopedic surgeon urgently, and I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. The orthopedic surgeon ordered a CT scan, again urgently. which I got done, but now I need a follow-up appointment. Suddenly, they're refusing to let me schedule it without a referral from a primary care physician--which I don't have. I explained that it would take at least two months to get an appointment with a primary care doctor, and their response? They don't care. After they told me I needed a referral, I called my insurance, who confirmed they would accept authorization from urgent care instead. I called Banner Urgent Care again and explained the situation. They said, "If insurance is fine with it, we're fine with it." So I scheduled an appointment, showed up on time, and have now been waiting for over 30 minutes--only to be told once again that I need a referral from a primary care doctor. So I'm stuck in this endless, ridiculous loop with no help, no empathy, and no solution while I sit here with a broken foot. To make matters worse, they don't even have an X-ray technician today, so patients have to call around themselves to find a location where someone is actually willing to do their job. This place is a joke. If you actually need medical care, go somewhere else.

He doesn't care about his patients, his bedside manner left me feeling like a bother, his work is messy and I think he's tired of his job, it shows in his face, his work, and his attitude. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place especially if you need any kind of stitches because Jay doesn't care about you or your wound and it will show by the time it heals how much he really cares. No sitting around for 30-45 minutes like at ALL Dr office visits after the appt time has passed. They popped my info into the computer, waited a minute for the insurance info to be sent back to them.
