Watch out, look out! Great healthcare service ahead! Was on some travel and upon returning home, was not feeling good at all. Tried to battle it myself but was in the losing end. Needed urgent care STAT! Used the online scheduling- too easy! Showed up 10 minutes ahead and was warmly greeted. Filled out a quick piece of paper and within 5 minutes my name was called - wait, what!?!? When does that happen? The nurse was very nice and whisked me through vitals and then to an exam room. The FNP, Stacy, was right in. I really appreciated the time she spent listening and finding a treatment plan. Seriously, a provider that actually listens and showed empathy- awesome. I had my treatment plan and was released. Really a great experience and will continue to utilize this location (hopefully not too often :) ) if I am feeling under the weather! What absolute crooks at Banner Urgent care. $209 to "apply" a Velcro arm brace. The physician could not read an x-ray and they sent my referral to some place that doesn't exist according to Banner's orthopedic office. They nonchalantly add to your bill like oh we will bill your insurance, excuse me? Who do you think pays that?? It's as if Banner runs a sales contest out of their urgent cares to see who can rack up the most incurring charges. And if you call to figure out why both the urgent care and the brace manufacturer are charging you for what could have been bought on Amazon the response is, well you have to pay for services rendered. I could give zero stars, I would. Banner Urgent Care has absolutely no empathy or concern for patient well-being. I came in over a week ago with what turned out to be a broken ankle. They referred me to an orthopedic surgeon urgently, and I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. The orthopedic surgeon ordered a CT scan, again urgently. which I got done, but now I need a follow-up appointment. Suddenly, they're refusing to let me schedule it without a referral from a primary care physician--which I don't have. I explained that it would take at least two months to get an appointment with a primary care doctor, and their response? They don't care. After they told me I needed a referral, I called my insurance, who confirmed they would accept authorization from urgent care instead. I called Banner Urgent Care again and explained the situation. They said, "If insurance is fine with it, we're fine with it." So I scheduled an appointment, showed up on time, and have now been waiting for over 30 minutes--only to be told once again that I need a referral from a primary care doctor. So I'm stuck in this endless, ridiculous loop with no help, no empathy, and no solution while I sit here with a broken foot. To make matters worse, they don't even have an X-ray technician today, so patients have to call around themselves to find a location where someone is actually willing to do their job. This place is a joke. If you actually need medical care, go somewhere else. read more

Went for a walk in appointment, and it's expected to wait a while to be seen but I felt things moved fairly fast. Very nice nurse to check vitals, and open communication on waiting for a room. Receptionist was kind and thorough as well. I'm always nervous to see what the actual physician will be like but luckily, it was a kind woman who wanted to help and thoroughly thought about each solution to my problem. I've had many bad experiences at different urgent cares, but I will 100% be going back to this one for the care shown by all staff. Dr. Brian Le is an excellent physician. He has great bedside manner and was able to communicate with my mom in Vietnamese. He helped her remove an earring that was deeply engulfed in her earlobe. It was a difficult task, as the earring was so small yet sturdy, and my mom was in immense pain because of the swelling and infection. He didn't quit until the job was done. Dr. Le successfully removed the earring after many tries and tools, with the help of his assistant, Derek, as well. Thank you so much for such a caring and helpful visit! read more

I have had Banner insurance since January 1 2024. it has been a nightmare since I tried to get medical care! This first visit to urgent care basically sums up my entire experience with Banner Medical! The NP came in and told me that they could not help me there, but watch my symptoms for 24 hours and if they get worse go to the emergency room!! Nothing, Nada, are you bleeding still! This place should be shut down, period. Their is no basic protocol. The place is something of a general practice rather then an urgent care facility. If you have an injury, that might require stitches, you will be asked to wait while people are getting vaccinated, in the meantime you will be sitting there with an open wound. I have been to this facility twice, and have been sent to the ER for stitches as this facility could not perform the said task. Today, I left the facility after going through registration and waiting one hour and then learning I would have an 8 hour wait. Banner should be ashamed of this operation and lack of capability of this urgent care facility. If you have an injury, that requires medical treatment go anywhere else. read more

Was seen for an ear infection and was treated disrespectfully. Walgreens doesn't take my insurance and surprisingly the urgent care or Walgreens did not notify me until everyone was closed. Now I get to have fun waiting until the morning. They definitely do not go the extra mile. Called back to have them transfer my prescription the next morning and I was told I need to do it. Avoid this place like the plague. I went in for leg pain. The PA had me pee in a cup. she came in with two prescriptions without examining me. Said I had a UTI. And sent me home never looking at the leg that was my chief complaint. The leg got worse so I went back. after making me wait a couple of hours., the lady at the desk said because I'd been seen the previous night they could not help me. Next day the leg is now twice the size it was. I went to an ER who took one look at my leg and admitted me immediately. I have a blood clot that runs from my ankle to my groin. The Doc says a few more hours without treatment I'd be dead. If that PA had bothered to look at the leg it might have been able to be treated with meds. Now I'm facing surgery. read more

I recently went to Banner Urgent Care because after spending several days sick in bed, with a negative COVID test from Mayo, and no signs of improvement, I needed to find out what was going on. Since it was a weekend, I expected there to be a long wait. When we arrived, there was in fact, a long wait. However, even though there was a 2 hour wait time, we were able to wait in our own vehicle. They were pretty accurate on the wait time. Once I was seen by the P.A., they assessed my symptoms, diagnosed my illness, and sent me on my way with prescriptions. I found the staff to be friendly and considerate and the facility looked clean and well kept. I would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise. read more

Easy online appt. Quick and very friendly service. Dr was friendly enough. 2 stars because of lack of communication with attending dr regarding Rx's given. Did not discuss RX treatment during examination. When later asked what he was prescribing he refused to give antibiotics and prescribed 3 meds, nose spray and 2 cough syrups. Two of which we already had. Our Primary Banner dr referred us to this location for flu symptoms due to their full schedule. Costly mistake using this location and receiving the only usable RX for cough syrup. Chest Congestion is now much worse now. read more

We came on Thursday to get my sons forehead stitched up. After the ER had a 4 hour wait we decided to see if they could get him sooner. There definitely was a wait, but that's just normal for any medical facility with or without an appointment. We lucked out and had Dr. Miranda. After MONTHS from my last visit, I FINALLY got my money refunded from a visit I got absolutely nothing from. They billed my insurance yet still took money from me at my visit.... This place is horrible, the front desk staff are horrible and will tell you they accept your insurance but then still charge you $75+ upon your visit out of pocket. The receptionist was friendly and the first medical assistant was passably polite. The PA, however, was rude, acted as if I was putting him out, and treated me as if I were trying to get pain medication. His attitude reflects poorly on your organization and he'd be better suited for a job not requiring interaction with people. Had to make an unplanned stop on a Monday night around 6. My 7yo son got a nice little gash on his forehead while at the pool next door. The receptionist noticed the bandage on his head and brought us right in. They started working on him immediately and went out of their way to keep him calm and comfortable. He was very nervous and so was I honestly. He ended up needing a few stitches but he barely noticed what was being done because they numbed him up properly and kept the calming conversation going. I usually don't go to these places except as a last resort. But this was urgent and it was the weekend. Talk about having the "C-Squad' on duty. I went in with extreme ear and sinus pain and wanted to get checked for a possible infection. Stephen(?) the NP spent all of 30 seconds with me, was very rushed and clearly thought I was wasting his time. He looked at the outside of my ears for 0.003 seconds and said they look fine. He said it was probably just allergies. I followed up with my regular doctor a little over a week later since it kept getting worse and by that time I had a raging double ear infection and a serious sinus infection. Thanks Steve! My son went here around 10 pm last March 31 and it's a quick visit and I was thankful that it's not a serious one. My only complain is the person who check the INSURANCE. My son gave the insurance card and still they put the wrong insurance information. This is not the first time. I myself went here before and my son twice already and I always get a letter saying DENIED by our insurance. Of course it will be denied if you put the wrong information. I hope someone from the clinic will read my review and check if your staff knows how to do their job properly. read more

After presenting my current insurance card at the time of service, twice Banner managed to bill the wrong insurance. I called this Banner location looking for customer service and they would not help, but instead just refer you to their account billing services, which is a 45+ minute hold time just to talk to a rep. I asked to be transferred to a manager, which rang and rang until the line cut off and went dead. After resubmitting the claim once, and being rejected due their error, I was able to have it submitted s second time just to have it returned for the exact same error. Good customer service would have been to call after the second insurance reject rather than just sending a second bill and expecting the patient to figure everything out. I'm sure this will generate a cliché "Our team was sorry to hear about these concerns" response from the business owner, but it doesn't matter. Going forward I will go to Fast Med since they provide much better service and are cheaper too. read more
