I can not say enough about the team from Next Step Senior Relocation LLC They arrived at my sister-in-law's home at 8:15 with a team of five wonderful angels -2 movers and 3 packers. I should have posted this review a couple of years ago. Jane P is an amazing woman with nothing but compassion and absolute commitment to her cause and profession. When my 90 y/o mom needed a board and care home Jane was amazing and lined up 5-7 homes that met our criteria, budget, and location needs. We toured each of them where Jane had awesome relationships with the owners and had all the answers to my multitude of questions! After we selected the perfect home for mom Jane continued to stay in touch, making sure our needs were continually met and ALWAYS inquired as to how my mom was doing. She truly cares about her clients needs and works 100% to fulfill them. In the past 5 months, I have been attempting to place my 95 year old mother in a safe board and care. Until I met Jane, from Next Step, I was dissatisfied with the agents sending me email lists of possible locations. I was at my wits end and found no guidelines to help me make good choices for my mom. Jane was the first agent to actually get to know the needs of my mom. There are probably several entities out there providing this type of service, but none that take such a personal approach...I contacted Melissa originally, and gave her the details of my mom's condition and what kind of facility I thought she needed...Melissa called back that day or the next and said she thought she had the perfect location...a resident had passed away and there was an opening...within just another day or so, she had made three appointments to see homes that were suitable for my mom..the third house was the one she had told me about, and it was fabulous!...we made the decision right there on the spot with the owner and moved Mom in a couple of days later...I can't say enough good things about Melissa and her company...we never had the opportunity to meet Jane, but she must be fabulous too, because she hired Melissa!!..Good Job, all!! read more

Our family can only describe Next Step Senior Care's Jane Pamphile as the "diamond" of senior care placement that all families seek for their loved-one but can be difficult to find. The first paragraph is what our family experienced before a long time friend of the family recommended Jane. In June, 2016 our family contacted over twenty companies specializing in senior care placement in Board and Care and long term SNF care. All twenty companies employed a, depersonalized, approach to senior care placement. Without variation, the services offered by all twenty senior placement companies was limited to providing phone numbers and addresses of Board and Care homes and long term care skilled nursing facilities within a four city wide radius of our preferred location which was Mission Viejo. Viewing facilities, determining if a Board and Care could provide the special needs required, as well as negotiating the price per month would have been the responsibility of our family who possesses zero qualifications to evaluate Board and Care Services. In addition, half of our family was convinced that our loved ones special needs exceeded services provided by Board and Care homes and believed the correct placement was in a long term skilled nursing facility. In short, not one of the twenty companies we contacted provided any guidance as to which approach was best. In stark contrast to the above is Jane Pamphile's senior care placement company: Next Step Senior Care. With our family Jane utilized her vast knowledge of senior care placement as well as her own personal experience when at a very young age Jane was suddenly immersed into the same depersonalized services when she sought the best option for her loved-one. When our family was fortunately referred to Jane Pamphile our family was torn between placing our 90 year old loved-one in a long term skilled nursing care facility or a Board and Care home experienced in dealing with the initial phase of dementia, full assist, as well as medical training to properly monitor and change a permanent colostomy holding pouch. Jane Pamphile compassionately guided our family to the correct choice which was a Board and Care home. Phase two involved the entire Next Step Senior Care placement staff persistently searching for a Board and Care in Mission Viejo that met our loved-one's special need requirements as well as Jane Pamphile's high standards in the area of cleanliness and a Board and Care staff that provides compassionate care. Three days after contacting Jane our family received a call from Jane stating she had personally viewed a Board and Care that met all the requirements while not exceeding our stated price point. At 2 P.M. that same day Jane personally lead the entire family on a detailed tour of the Board and Care home. The home was immaculately clean, upscale in all aspects, while emanating a warm secure feeling. We secured a room for our loved-one immediately after the tour. We thanked Jane for accomplishing so much given the price point we provided Jane to work with was at the low end of all Board and Care homes. Even for the best of the best this would end their involvement, however, for Jane this was the beginning of a compassionate journey, the prof of which is found in the fact that Jane visited our loved-one the day after the move along with the Board and Care owner to check on the first day adjustment to a new living environment.
