My dad was diagnosed with Dementia about 2 years old. At that time, so many worries and concerns were in my head. We knew we weren't ready to talk about transitioning his care; however, I reached out to Wellpath Partners for information. Charles was so kind to explain their services and promised to check-in with us in 3 months. There was no pressure or need to commit right away to their services. Charles and Leila checked in with us along the way. Never pushing for more information. Just "when you're ready, we are here". Last month, I reached out to Leila as our family was experiencing stress and increased difficulties caring for my dad at home by ourselves. We talked about options. We discussed financial and cultural concerns. My dad is Filipino, doesn't speak English well, and very particular with his care. Leila was able to help us find a Filipino-owned board and care that was close to home and within our price range. She helped settle my fears and worries. In the stress of needing to transition my dad quickly, she made it seem less challenging, listened to my concerns, and reassured me that I was not on this journey alone. My mother was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2021. Her Dr suggested Hospice care would be the best route. This was devastating to our family. For one year we tried caring for mom but realized we could no longer provide the proper care needed. We came to the conclusion that we needed to seek other options . So we found WellPath on Google and was put in touch Charles who was very informative and knew exactly what we needed. A very trusted young man. He provided us with 7 homes to tour that could possibly be a nice fit for mom. We immediately toured all homes in one day and found the perfect home for mom. Knowing what we were looking for, Charles knew that we would pick the Heritage Home in LaVerne, owned by the Navarros. Mom has been there since June 2022 and is adjusting nicely. The HOme and Care is amazing. Mom is treated with lots of love ,attention and most importantly, respect. Nino and Michelle Navarro have an amazing team of caregivers that go above and beyond.
