Doesn't return calls - seems too bus?... how does that transpire if needed as a "lawyer" in times of need. Family lawyer practitioner?...

Best lawyer very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Will recommend for family child services case amazing results.

I recently used the services of Takin Khorram to modify an existing court order that was/is a VERY high conflict case. I can't tell you how many times I emailed him complaints about the other party and never did he lose his cool. In fact, each time he tried to redirect my emotions towards the overall outcome that I was desiring. He was direct and straight to the point and he's honest. What more could you ask for in an attorney? Thankfully, he had familiarity with the Long Beach Courthouse and my judge in particular so he gave me my options in a very honest and straight forward way. He won't lie to you to then have you fail. He tells you what the likely outcome is and it's up to you on how you want to proceed. He is very professional and timely and knows how to maneuver with all parties involved. I didn't get exactly what I wanted but thankfully, Takin briefed me on what I was to expect so I wasn't entirely disappointed. For the most part, I'm satisfied with the outcome and Mr. Khorram's services 100%. He is very kind and understanding and always has the best interest of your child or children as the main goal. I honestly couldn't give a higher recommendation. My only regret is that I didn't use him the first time I initiated my case. Because of his service, I am finally able to breathe again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. read more

I can't thank Takin enough for his support and expertise throughout my case. When seeking an attorney, it was extremely important to me that I find someone ethical and professional. He exceeded that, while also providing a realistic view of the case. Takin was knowledgeable, direct, and prompt with his responses - always willing to answer my myriad of questions and offer advice. I would definitely recommend engaging him if you're looking to hire a smart attorney with integrity. read more

Mr. Takin K accepted our case with awareness of the challenges we faced. When we got to court, Takin took over. Word of mouth led me to Takin, and I'm thrilled that we now have the best advocate to pursue our case. I am incredibly grateful for the assistance you have provided for us. read more

Takin had come highly recommended from a long time friend. I never thought I would need legal services. My world was turned upside down in a matter of days. This left me scrambling to have access to my children, money, and other things. In this newfound time of uncertainty I didn't know what to do and who to trust. He stood up for my parental rights as a father when I thought that my ex held all the power. I will say that I am glad he was sitting next to me in court as opposed to the counsel my Ex had selected. I will highly recommend him to anyone that asks, even if he is a Raiders fan (just kidding). For being new to this world of litigation I'm really happy I was able to acquire his services. read more

My husband and I finally had the honor to become a united family in August, and it's all thanks to TAKIN! Takin was understanding, helpful, and so knowledgeable throughout this whole step-parent adoption case! I had so much peace knowing that I could trust Takin because he truly showed us he valued our trust. Takin blew us away with how he delivered his closing statement! He stated nothing, but facts, and delivered his statement with a huge bang! & with that the judge granted our adoption case for our two boys! 08.24.23 was our official adoption date which was my birthday! & Takin gave me the best birthday gift anyone could ever give me and that was my family being United!! Thank you Takin for all your hard work, and dedication! We truly appreciate you! read more

Takin was a very professional, and helpful attorney. There were things that I didn't know about that if it weren't for Takin, I would truly know how to advocate for the custody battle with my son's father regarding my son. Takin is responsive, empathetic, and knowledgeable. I don't think my case would have been a success if it weren't for him. He is also very reasonable and honest with the whole process, and it shows in his professional interactions with my son's father's attorney. He doesn't help you to fight with aggression, but reasoning. That's the type of attorney that you need. He helped guide me through this whole process at ease, and I definitely recommend others to him. Because of Takin I was able to have primary parental rights for my son and so much more! When hiring an attorney, I was very hesitant. When I initially consulted with Takin, I could instantly sense that he truly cared about his clients and was not trying to financially take advantage of anyone. In fact, he provided two consultations with great advice before I felt the need to hire him. Upon hiring him, his work was exceptional. He was responsive and showed compassion and empathy towards a very delicate situation. He is extremely knowledgable and promptly follows through with what he says he is going to do. Takin Khorram was recommended to us by a contact who has a lot of experience dealing with the foster care system for many years. We ended up in a very difficult situation where social workers were not advocating for the children we were caring for. Takin helped us immensely through the whole process, fighting for the kids we were caring for until ultimately we were  able to adopt them. Takin helped my husband and I go through a very messy child support case. He is helpful and honest in explaining limitations of the legal process. He was and continues to be our support and source of legal advice through dealing with our ultimate goal of getting 50/50 custody of our kids. He is diligent and on top of it. I do get the impression that he is very busy, but it hasn't negatively affected our case. If you need a knowledgeable, fair and responsive lawyer for your child custody case, we absolutely recommend him. Unfortunately, it's the nature of this business that not everyone will get everything they want. But Takin was there for us when we felt the most vulnerable and when we're ready for our next step we'll be going to him. He has earned our trust. read more

Just wow! From the start, Takin took me by surprise. He responded to my inquiry within hours and he was on vacation! For someone to still take the time to respond like this really proved his consideration and that he means serious business. I went in for a consultation and he showed empathy while patiently spending a whooping whole hour with me at no charge. He gave options and presented the worst case scenario so I know exactly what I'll be getting into. After he took my case, everything went very smooth. He notified me of every step of the way. With this courtesy, I did not have to follow up on anything. He is so well organized and so easy to work with. He is not your typical uppity lawyer. Today, I cannot thank him enough. I cannot say enough about Takin. I was in a situation where I did not see a great outcome, so I searched out a lawyer. Not a divorce attorney! Hired him due to good reviews and he seemed to be an honest and caring lawyer. My divorce case was pretty easy given the fact that we didn't have much assets. However what made my case difficult was dealing with my ex husband who refused to give much child support or anything money we had saved up or work with our daughters schedule. Yes my ex was a very difficult person to deal with and unfortunately he had a very good lawyer. Mr takin seemed to be fed up but that is why I had hired him. He pretty much agreed to what my ex husbands lawyer would say and told me I could always go back. The entire reason for hiring him was to settle it with this case as much as possible and not have to go back to court. read more

I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Riley Khorram to any foster and/or adoptive parent, relative caregiver, etc... who might be in need of legal services and/or advice. Tak has been a friend and valuable resource to me for many years as I help families navigate dependency court. As a foster/adopt dad and executive director of a non-profit which advocates for children and families in the foster care system, I have seen so many families who would benefit from the expertise of an attorney who knows how the system works. Tak not only knows how the system works, but he has the integrity and deep personal concern for people that ensure his clients will receive the best possible legal representation. read more

I contacted Takin Khorram close to the end of the day and left a voicemail. He called me back shortly thereafter and I could already tell that he wasn't your typical stuffed shirt type of person. We arranged to meet on a Saturday, which was a major plus due to my work schedule. His office was close to my home which was great and after talking to him during our Free 1 hour consult, I was really happy that I chose him. He was relaxed and asked all the right questions. He listened like he cared about my case and showed true empathy about my situation. His prices are more than fair and he is very accommodating. I look forward to working with him in the future and I now have at least 1 thing that I didn't have before...hope, hope that someone in this whole crazy process will fight for my rights. Atty. Takin Khorram is exactly who you want on your side should you find yourself trying to navigate Edelman Children's Court. He is experienced as a lawyer for both children and parents (foster and bio). He is familiar with many of the judges and other lawyers and that familiarity is like gold! Unfortunately, I cannot be more specific as I am still in the midst of my own process but I feel absolutely confident that my family is in the best hands. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and generous with his time and very affordable fees and always returns phone calls and emails promptly. I feel so lucky that I found this law firm! UPDATE: After 997 days, we finally adopted our son. Attorney Khorram was there every step of the way, even though ultimately we never needed to fight in court. He watched our case closely and encouraged us to keep our heads down and, if action was needed, he would let us know. He truly was looking out for our best interest and not his own which I found to be extraordinary! We were delighted to hire him to handle the adoption and his fee was very affordable. In case I have not made myself clear... I could not recommend this man any more highly! read more

Hiring Takin Khorram was the BEST decision that we made throughout our hellish process. As foster-to-adopt parents, we knew we needed an attorney that understood the ins and outs of children's court. Takin was referred to us by several people. He has a high reputation and made our process easier than it had been up to that point. He replied quick to our original email, provided a free phone consultation and made the process easy to understand, including the various roles, forms and laws. We had several consultations prior to speaking with Takin in which we did not feel the ease that Takin provided. Takin came across very smart and quick minded. We knew right away that we found the representation that we were seeking. Takin was diligent and cut to the chase quickly, filing what needed to be filed and not wasting anyone's time. Takin appeared for us on 3 different occasions before we "won". Though our anxieties ran high Takin's confidence instilled relief by watching him work and completely reinforced our decision as the BEST one. More often than not you get what you pay for, and Takin was worth every penny. We highly recommend him! read more
