These people have zero integrity, they (Alex Sr.) advised me to spend thousands of dollars to hire experts only to fail to enter the exhibits in a timely manner, I asked Alex Sr. to hand the case to one of the other partners but he refused and cost me dearly. My fiancé and I have been going through 2 very litigious divorces for over 5 years. Although we are both technically divorced our ex-spouses keep coming back with ridiculous requests and fights. Because of these 2 very litigious divorces that both of us have been trying to settle out of court for years, I have dealt with numerous divorce attorneys and I am 100% certain of the 5 we have seen in action, Macksoud Junior is the best. He doesn't miss anything yet he helps you understand what is "worth it" and what isn't. He does a very good job at keeping emotions out of it so you can cut through the real issues and asses what is really important to you. He is incredibly organized, seems to know exactly what is going on at all times even though I know he is juggling multiple clients. His paralegal is very nice and helpful and the team is just all around great. In my particular case, my ex has been fighting over completely ridiculous re-imbursement items and doesn't want to pay a mere $450 a month in child support so in my mind spending money on legal fees to fight over money is ridiculous because the one that typically always wins is the lawyers as they rack up more fees. However Macksoud Jr. has been very sensitive to the fact that I don't want to spend a ton of money because it doesn't make sense yet I have to protect myself. I have never been dissatisfied with Macksoud's approach and feel he is honest, cares about me and doesn't have an ulterior motive like most family law attorneys as this process is like the wild west. While my ex has racked up $150,000 using Roger Rombro, who is the worst attorney I think I have seen on the street, I have spent pennies to that yet have won on every issue. My ex went so far as to appeal our case all the way to the supreme court while Macksoud Jr. advised me to do nothing because he was confident my ex wouldn't get the appaleate court to agree with him. Had I had another attorney, I bet my bill would be at $150k by now. You can verify I am not a friend of the firm by looking up my case to know this review is genuine. Have work with Cameron Astiazaran on two separate issues: issue one started in 2015 and ended in early 2016 and was the personal jurisdiction and subject matter jurisdiction of child support being transferred from Texas to California. Opposing counsel was Mr. Frank who I considered out classed and knowledge by Cameron. This was a long battle but ended up in getting arrears, an increase of 120% in C/S and four years of medical bills paid with penalties.... Issue two was for the extension of child support past 18 year old for a healthy child now turned adult. With no physical disabilities and only a diagnosis of bipolar and in college as a minor...since 11th grade. Ms Astiazaran assist me as a proper in writing the pleadings needed for this case which is still pending hearing on June 2016. i came to this office last February 2011, I was a little late for my Appointment because I have to find the office. The family lawyer who is the Senior Macksoud said I was late and I have to wait and he will see the client who has an appointment an hour after. I waited for 30 minutes and I already paid my consultation fees. I decided to cancel out and soon enough he was done with his client I was frustrated the receptionist doesn't know how to run the debit/credit machine instead of reversing the charges it was charged again another fee and I have to wait till this other person who I think knows what's going on with this machine to give the credit anyway I decided to see the lawyer took care of my paperwork and left. Last month I went back to get the copy of my receipt nobody will help me I called left a message nobody called me back I decided to stop by just to get the copy of my receipt the receptionist broke the copying machine doesn't know how to fix it cannot make a copy of my receipt they said I'm not on their file finally I decided to call the lawyer himself they called me back and said the copy of my receipt is waiting for me at the front desk which is a lie in fact the same receptionist has to look for it took her 10 minutes to find made a copy of this receipt which I was scared that the copying machine might break again and she don't know how to fixed it . The copy is so light and so I just want to get out of there just accepted the receipt and ask for envelope receptionist said they don't have it. Very poor service they don't know how to treat clients and charge too much for consultation fees. read more
