My husband initially went in on Monday at 9:30 AM experiencing intense pain early in the morning. There were no lines when I arrived, the office was clean, and the staff were polite and professional. During the visit, they drew labs and gave me a referral to have an ultrasound done (which I was able to get done that day at 1pm). I was told that they would call me with the results once everything was reviewed. Wednesday, the clinic contacted us with the lab results, but they had no update regarding the imaging. I then called the imaging center myself and was informed that the ultrasound images had already been sent to the clinic Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday, I went to the imaging center in person to pick up a copy of the results and the CD containing the images. I called the same day (Th) and was told the NP should have the results reviewed by Friday. When I followed up today(Friday), I was told that it may not be reviewed until Monday. While I'm grateful my husband's pain has mostly subsided and is feeling almost back to normal, the delay in reviewing the imaging results feels unnecessary and frustrating. Especially considering the imaging center had already sent the results several days ago. Overall, my initial visit was positive in terms of the cleanliness of the office and the friendliness of the staff and cost of the visit. After calling they are more annoyed and don't seem to care that patients are left with no answers. The delay in communicating diagnostic results and providing follow-up information has been disappointing and has left me waiting longer than expected for answers. This is my second time going here for labs and imaging (first time with my son) and I didn't experience this type of delay so hopefully this isn't what usually happens.

I suffered for ten days with debilitating muscle aches and sky high fever because I was told after four days that "it's probably viral" so it wouldn't do any good. I was left with no course of action or way to get help. I got worse and I couldn't sit up, lift a bottle of water, move sheets off me without help. Agonizing is an understatement. I saw another doctor after ten days and they immediately agreed to try antibiotics, less than six hours later I can move again. So perhaps next time, when you're presented with a patient who you're unsure has a viral or bacterial infection and they ask to try antibiotics on their second visit after no improvement you should try it. I'm writing this so that this can be a learning experience. The staff and physicians were very nice, and the customer service was fine. I really hope they learn from hearing my experience so that this doesn't happen to future patients.

Why 5 stars? Because this will be my go-to walk-in clinic from now on…read more --- --- --- I recently came down with some kind of gnarly illness where I was feverish for several days. I took an out-home Covid test and it was negative. I assumed it was strep, which requires antibiotics, so I wanted to go get tested. My wife had a good experience here recently, so I figured I would try it out. I went online to reserve a time and there was something available 20 minutes from when I was looking. I checked out the GPS and it was going to take me 17 minutes to arrive. Perfect. My main reason for the 5-star review here is that they do not require patients to wear masks. It's not that wearing a mask for a half hour is the end of the world, it's more that I hate participating in the stupidity of something that accomplishes nothing other than extend society's exuberant anxiety. Wear one if you want, but Brazos not requiring them is why they gained a fan in me. My co-pay was $75, which I thought was a little steep. I tested negative for strep and then it was suggested I test for the flu. That came back positive. And when I left, I assumed I'd owe more, but nope! That $75 suddenly didn't seem so steep as it was all-inclusive, at least for what I received. See ya next time Brazos, though I hope it's not for a while. The flu was intense enough to last me for the rest of the year.
