The rows of seats are graduated like a small movie theater. The lighting was great. The actors wear mics to enhance the sound. The offer popcorn and snacks for purchase. You can also purchase bottled water. If you want an alcoholic drink, you must purchase a "Stageworks" tumbler for $20. It comes filled with your drink of choice on the first round and then you pay for the addition drinks with a by the glass cost. You can bring the tumbler back each time. There was a little bit of a wait at intermission for the bathrooms. Of course, us ladies always have to wait no matter the venue. The staff were great in assisting us to the other more hidden restrooms. Everyone was friendly and the night was terrific. The theater is in a shopping center. Parking is free. You can buy tickets online and then pick them up at will call.

At the end of each program she was in, there was a showcase performance for the parents, to display the hard work and talent of the children... I'm telling you, each time I was shocked and amazed!! What happened to my shy little girl?! My daughter's confidence increased tremendously with the tools she learned at Drama Kids, and she is still implementing those tools today in her everyday life (both inside and outside of the classroom). I recommend Drama Kids to anyone who has children; it's for girls and boys, shy or not! They will have a blast within an environment that allows them to express themselves with confidence among their peers, and learn how to work together and think creatively. I was appalled she treated me with complete and utter disrespect. After her verbal abuse she then had the audacity to let me know my son was no longer welcome nor would she be refunding his tuition. This woman has no business overseeing children, this was not a professionally or well run camp with a company this is someone milking parents to park their kids on dirty carpet with nothing stimulating to do for 7 hours and yelling at them when they complain of wanting something to do.

This is even worse for me to have to do because of the importance of supporting local and black-owned businesses, but this one, in particular, is no longer deserving of that, and quite frankly, hasn't been for a while. Therefore, I encourage everyone to take their money, time, and talents elsewhere as we have many other amazing options in this city. I recently did some work for Courtney White of B.U. for the Arts for which I was promised compensation. However, on the day that I was told I would receive said compensation Courtney completely ignored all of my attempts to contact him, and he even took it a step further and proceeded to block me on all social media platforms as if I was the one causing the issue. If you know Courtney then you also know how he loves to preach about supporting other artists, but when the tables are turned, it's not reciprocated by him. I honestly am still in shock that situations like this can and still exist within a community like ours where so many of us know and/or work consistently with each other. Courtney, I have to say, it's very bold of you, and it tells me a lot about what you think of yourself and your business (especially since this isn't your first rodeo with compensation issues). It really disappoints me to watch someone like you who is living one of my long-term goals of owning a studio treat it so carelessly. Although you blocked me on social media, I'm sure you'll see this message at some point considering how many mutual contacts we have. I hope that it causes you to do some reflecting and make some changes in your life, both personal and business. Lastly, I want you to know that you had no contribution in making me who I am, and you definitely play no part in breaking me. Carry on.
