At the end of each program she was in, there was a showcase performance for the parents, to display the hard work and talent of the children... I'm telling you, each time I was shocked and amazed!! What happened to my shy little girl?! My daughter's confidence increased tremendously with the tools she learned at Drama Kids, and she is still implementing those tools today in her everyday life (both inside and outside of the classroom). I recommend Drama Kids to anyone who has children; it's for girls and boys, shy or not! They will have a blast within an environment that allows them to express themselves with confidence among their peers, and learn how to work together and think creatively. It seems she was prioritizing making a sale with another client rather than being punctual. The girl, I was speaking with was explaining some things to me, but when I pressed her into detail, things started to get a bit confusing I believe she was using a sales tactic known as pacing. Once I had a good point to make I was cut off. I noticed some contradictions in her statements such as " some agencies look for a unique look so you need to know what you want to show" and as I became more skeptical she said " there are tons of attractive guys In Houston if you don't have the training they will go with the other attractive guy". Seemed a bit devaluing after they asked me to get a ton more headshots for a unique look. They then said it would be too risky for me to be trained for free as I could just "dip out" whenever, but I don't believe that to make any logical sense as why would I waste my time training to become a model to only then say thanks now I'm gonna go ahead and try to find another agency that will find me work so I can make money when they were already going to set me up with jobs to start my career with. A reputable agency makes commission off of the work you do with the client, around 10-20 percent. They also made another statement which was false. "No agency is going to train you for free." Which isn't the case. Then when I asked them about the negative reviews online regarding models paying for classes and not receiving any work, she then blamed the models for "not opening emails or paying attention to the work that was sent to them ". If an agency sees potential in you they will train you not ask for thousands of dollars for classes.

They were given games to play no theater elements as advertised. Sadly instead of making any attempts to engage him or stimulate the children he was yelled at. When I arrived to pick him up there was no introductions the teacher tore into me about my son not participating and that she's not a babysitter. I was appalled she treated me with complete and utter disrespect. After her verbal abuse she then had the audacity to let me know my son was no longer welcome nor would she be refunding his tuition. This woman has no business overseeing children, this was not a professionally or well run camp with a company this is someone milking parents to park their kids on dirty carpet with nothing stimulating to do for 7 hours and yelling at them when they complain of wanting something to do.
