Because of her classroom experience (working with Juilliard's curriculum), she was able to create a custom curriculum to suit every student's goals. She listens to her students, addresses their concerns, and has a way of explaining concepts in a way that's easy to understand, for kids AND adults! She's clearly an expert in EDUCATING! I used to go to her home studio in Montrose for lessons, but due to Covid-19, we switched to online lessons. The transition was easy and smooth, and I must say that the quality of both our piano and voice lessons have remained the same! Wow! I really enjoy learning from my home and not needing to commute for our weekly lessons! I've had several piano and voice teachers in the past, but have never truly understood the ins and outs of music. With Clara, not only have my performance skills improved, but I am now also able to enjoy music so much more due to a deeper understanding of what I am performing or practicing. Clara is truly the most inspiring music teacher I've had, and I'm looking forward to many more lessons together in the future!

Clara is a knowledgeable and dedicated music teacher who transmits a motivating passion for music…read more With Clara's support, I was able to complete my IB Music coursework from scratch to a high standard within six months. Despite the new syllabus, Clara's thorough understanding of the IB program as an examiner allowed her to decipher the criteria and course guide, then explain this information in a clear and logical way. Clara's feedback was always specific and detailed, yet she was willing to incorporate my ideas rather than directly instruct me to write/compose/play a certain way. Clara's breadth and depth of musical knowledge expanded my exposure to different areas of music. She gave helpful answers to all of my questions throughout different stages of the working process, whether they were related to the IB or more generally about music. Clara's patience and humor also provided some much-needed reassurance in face of the challenging IB program. To any students seeking external help for music schoolwork, I highly recommend taking lessons with Clara! I cannot thank her enough for salvaging my experience with the academic study of music.

And there's also a bar within the proximity of the school if you want to take a break and wind down. Everyone here is welcoming and have a passion to teach music. The manager is awesome and the employees are all professional but fun, so students definitely will have a kick outta learning. Hannah S. is the best teacher! I highly recommend her. She has glasses and occasionally looks like Tina from Bob's Burgers. Better sign your kid up fast before she leaves for college! I didn't even know this until my kid asked me to sign the card. They can put all the nice words and all the stars in the grading card but you will not really know. Their principle is group teaching. A teacher teaches a small group of kids every lesson time. The manager can tell you all the good things of their method and principles of their teaching. But is this really what is happening inside the classroom? Are the teachers really doing what they are supposed to do? My child learned more in 2 months in a private one-on-one than he had learn here in 6 months. Here, nobody really knows how they are teaching your kid. You are not even allowed to see them during the class. You are allowed to peep through a peephole. A peephole! You can't even see whether your child is participating or really getting the time and attention of the teacher. And what if a teacher does not care about your child? You will never know. There is no real transparency in this school. I think that the one-on-one method of teaching is better. It maybe a little expensive but it is worth all the money. I think you will actually spend more money in this place for the amount of learning that your child will get in the same span of time, gas and parent effort. I understand that this is a business. But this place is all about business. I feel that their concern about your auto-pay outweighs their concern of your child's learning. I now call this place The Music Disconnection.
