Jill has a special way with babies and is able to draw them out and give each student special one on one attention. I can't say enough great things about Musik-Go-Round. The songs, dances, and movements have become an integral part of our weekly routine and we always look forward to sharing that time with Jill and the other babies! I got charged an extra month's feee, and I only noticed because I checked a few months later. Apparently it was a "glitch". Anyway - a lot of the problems seem to be coming from a bad business model where they exploit their teachers, don't ay their staff, overcharge customers, cancel lessons, etc. Too much drama and my child is not getting a good musical education here. They learned far more than I expected in such a short time, and the weekly recitals were a highlight, giving parents the chance to hear the kids play and sing. It's easily one of the best summer camps in Bellaire. The experience inspired both of my kids to continue their musical journey. My 7 year old now takes piano lessons with Mr. Sal, while my 9 year old studies with Mr. Roscoe. This assessment finds every strength and weakness of your child. When we started going over it together, there were ones that were definitely questionably written. But they do this on purpose to try to get you to sign up (which I get). My son attended Sylvan for 4 months, and we had multiple incidents with the tutors (former teachers). They were unprofessional. When there was a problem addressed, we brought it up to the owner who assured us he would address it with his teacher, and there was a clear disconnection in communication with the two. The next week we found out she was gone, and there was another teacher. She didn't seem too much better. At drop off I came to pick up my son, and used the bathroom and I noticed the trash overflowing... When my son did not progress in reading, they recommended we come for longer, and more days a week. We already were coming 1 hour 3 times a week. He was clearly exhausted. We brought some of his homework in, and the teacher erased all the answers that he had done and made him start from the beginning (this is after we had worked with him on his homework for 2 hours prior). Bottom line, don't waste your money here.

I recently purchased a violin from Lisle and Cameron was super patient. I checked out two violins for a week at a time so that I could properly determine if they were a good fit. They have a shop onsite and they are able to fix most issues that you will come across. My diagnosis: a wonderful string shop with super knowledgeable and helpful employees. Highly recommended!
