My eldest, who has always been able to sit and draw on her own for hours, walked in when she was very young and without even knowing what the business was for said "Oh! I really like it here!" even though she usually did not like any place but home. My younger daughter who is constantly moving and very active loves it too, it helps her focus and learn. Even living an hour away, we came back for a course this last semester. Both girls came away with more confidence, technique, and several fantastic pieces of art. The new location is well suited to creative expression with a beautiful, fairy-land style garden in the back where, during longer classes or camps, the instructor allows the class to stretch their legs and minds on a short break. I was skeptical when I first signed up but over the last 4 1/2 years they have made a totally believer in what they teach and the integrity of the company. I have taken all their classes and I was one of the first students that they signed up in their mastermind community. There wasn't much to the mastermind community when I first signed up but this isn't a company that stands still but always looking to improve and make things better and better all the time. I have to say now it is a really good program and there are a lot of good things going on in there. I have NO REGRETS in buying into this education. ALL their instructors are top notch and many of them came right off the exchange floors. They don't have to teach. They have proven to me over and over again that they can pull what ever income they want out of the markets. They teach because of their desire to share and to help others achieve their goals. ALL the instructors and staff I have been involved with seem to have a strong moral backing and desire to do the right thing. This company has been very good to me as one of their students. This Is NOT a get rich scheme. 90% of people that attempt to trade in the financial markets FAIL. You will have to study and do your work. If you put in the work and the time to learn the concepts that is taught at Online Trading Academy the income potential really is unlimited. I don't say this to sound ridiculous but your only real limit is your account size and how much size you can put on a trade. I have seen some reviews say the futures and forex markets that we are taught to trade in is RISKY? I have to address that. If you are just throwing money around in leveraged markets then you can easily loose more money than you have in your account and it is risky if you don't know what the heck you are doing. RISK MANAGEMENT and proper position sizing are two important concepts that are taught by our instructors. We predetermine the maximum risk per trade and we are not allowed to go over that. Then we use precision entries based on supply and demand and follow strict rules on how we manage the trade. These instruments are only risky if you don't follow rules and size your positions properly. Kevin Green was one of the first instructors I listened to in the extended learning track (XLT) and I have been wanting to take one of his classes for a long time. He is also the general manager of the Houston center. I had the opportunity to come to Houston to take his class. I have to say that his center is sparkling clean and professionally operated. The Houston center seems to kick the high standards up a notch. Kevin puts an extra effort into providing as much information as possible in 5 short days. He pushes his students a little to grasp these concepts and to get as much out of the class as they can. This is one business that you have to be in the top 5% if you are going to make the dough and Kevin crams a lot of information into his classes. His motivation is the success of his students. He goes well above and beyond the call of duty. But Kevin is just one of many awesome instructors that give their time to us along with those in the Extended Learning Track program and in the MasterMind community. This is a profession just like any other. You won't learn it in a week. You have to work at it and put the effort in to learn how to be a successful trader. There is an entire community of us students and as one of my peers put it "you have to be part of the family to understand the family". I thought it was a lot of money when I signed up but NOWHERE are professional traders going to take you under their wings and spoon feed you this stuff for free. Today my daughter (who is 7) called me having a panic attack after leaving aerial arts early. I work during the week so her grandmother brings her. While in class today, the kids were running to get on slings and my daughter got to a sling before another little girl, who then started crying. The red headed teacher (I can never remember her name), yelled at the little girl to not cry and go sit with her grandmother if she was going to keep crying. Awful, that should've never happened, but then my daughter went to go console the girl because she has a huge heart and she's been raised to care about others. At this point the teacher BELLOWS at my daughter "(name) YOU AREN'T HELPING, GO BACK TO YOUR SPOT". My daughter has pretty severe ADHD (which aerial arts was helping with) and anxiety from issues that happened with a very mean teacher in kindergarten. When she was yelled at, my daughter went and hid behind the sling and started tearing up. My mom then asked if she wanted to go home and she said yes. After she put her in the car with her great grandmother my mom went back in to speak to the teacher. My mom walked onto the floor and said "maam" to get her attention. She continued with "you do not have the right to speak to any child like that. The worst thing you can do as a teacher is yell at a child. That was uncalled for." Do which the teacher replied "yeah, well she's ALOT" (speaking about my daughter, who we have spoken a lot to this particular teacher about her ADHD issues and my daughter had been doing so much better staying on task and really trying to learn) and my mom said "she's a lot? Well so what that. Completely out of line" and left. After my daughter called me while I was working, HYPERVENTILATING, and crying trying to tell me what happened. I am taking my daughter out of axis. I am SO happy I found an aerial arts school closer to where we live that is beginning children's classes. I was going to leave her in axis until those classes started but I refuse to subject my child to a teacher who shouldn't even be around children. It's very apparent she has no control over her temper and she has an ego the size of a yacht. I had seen glimpses of this lack of emotional control from her in the past when I was bringing her, but it wasn't to this extent so I just assumed she was having a rough day. But to let your temper get to that level while teaching small children is DISGUSTING. She should be pulled from the position immediately. Please, don't send your children here. There are two other FANTASTIC aerial arts schools in the woodlands and Conroe. She can not go on being allowed to teach children. If you care about your child's emotional well-being, you won't bring them here.
