All around the best environment for a child to blossom. They love your family the day you step in…read more We are having to leave the school because of a move and I'm crying (last day today) I could not have asked for better teachers. My son started first and just grew so confident and learned so many things from this school. My daughter started after and she is getting this blossoming personality and just lights up when she sees her teachers. The owners and front office staff are the best humans and are willing to work with you. The best communication. This will always be the "the one that got away". Wish I could bring this school with me in my move. I want thank everyone at Klein-Spring Montessori for every single minute. You have been one family to me and we will miss you.

Disappointed to say the least! Just like everyone else, I saw all twenty positive reviews and was…read moreexcited to take my 2 year old , mind you I was FULLY transparent with the staff that this is his first experience with ANY form of childcare and that he is an only child who has hardly ever been around his peers. The school does what they call "transition days" I was explained it was 2 hours long for 2 days. Day 1, I take him and as expected we are both anxious I was worried the whole time expecting my son was high stressed, to my surprise I picked him up an hour later as instructed, and he was playing with the toys and engaging with his teacher, not crying not crying or fussing. Sandy, the owner (beware) explained that she was concerned and used verbiage like "I'm not sure if he's capable..." in reference to my child adapting socially. He is two and as they explained he is already ahead of their curriculum but we have struggled with the social aspect. She then implied to that ny two year old may have ASD or ADHD based on a single hour long interaction because he wasn't responding to His name for her. After ONE time around his for less than 2 hours. She said she didn't know if it would be a good fit after that 1 time. However, She suggested we try him in the class for two year old rather than the 3 year old Class he was in so he didn't regress. Her verbiage and response to My toddler naturally rubbed me the wrong way so I shopped around and prayed on it. I decided to entertain her theory of the toddler 2 class despite her obvious frustrations, since the directors were not the teachers. After taking him for the 2nd time I was immediately greeted with an eerie smile showing their clear discomfort that I was back with my toddler. She told me he couldn't eat the breakfast I brought although their rules are to provide their meals she wouldn't let me say bye and the later told me it won't be a good fit based on atom of contradicting statements. Just like most parents my baby is my world to be mistreated or given up on after a max of 2 hours total is disheartening. All children are not accustomed to childcare or exposed to other children. The behavior for Middle Aged women who are running a facility for out kids was disgusting. I want my son to be in a nurturing environment where he is given grace and patience rather than one of hostility and hopelessness for his future.

From the second you walk in you are greeted like family by Ms. Mimi, Ms. Justice and Ms. Allyssa. Every teacher knows my son's name and he loves them all, especially Ms. Irene who comes running to give him a hug everyday. My son was potty trained in no time at all with very few accidents which makes me feel comfortable that he is constantly monitored and cared for. He's speech is amazing, he can count in two languages, and is already reading and writing! When we pick him up from school he can't wait to tell us about all the fun he had with his friends and his teachers. They also have monthly events which are so much fun, like box car parades, Valentines Day parties, Easter egg hunts to name a few, which are a great opportunity to meet some of the other parents and share stories. From personal experience we as parents have always been treated like family, and the director, Ms. Allyssa, is always happy to go above and beyond to help us. The communication from the school is great, and I love getting the picture updates during the day. We normally get between 8 -12 photos and videos a day. We enrolled our son after a TERRIBLE experience at Primrose of Champions where we discovered that he wasn't being feed, and watched a teacher shove our then 13 month old to the ground. I shared the story with Ms. Allyssa and her fantastic team and they were so great about it. I sat in the reception for the first few days that he was enrolled and watched the camera in his classroom. I saw nothing but kindness and love showered on my baby, and that made my mommy heart so happy. If you want your kids to get a great education backed by love and support then this is a great option. We have chosen not to move to a new house because we refuse to take our son out of Prescolaire. Thank you Ms. Allyssa and staff for loving my boy as much as we do.

She loves school more than anything, to have your child beg to go to school, happy every morning is priceless. She grew to be a confident and kind girl and I am positive the school had an immense impact on this. I always felt heard, communication with leadership as well as teachers have been amazing. The performances always blow my mind and last years robotic show for first grade surpassed my expectations. Truly recommend.

Then, were so impressed with their handling of the pandemic in 2020 (we experienced no "covid learning loss"), it was an easy decision to stay on for the primary grades. And we have not been disappointed! We continue to have truly great teachers, that you can actually interact with every day at drop off and pickup and build relationships with them. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to schedule a tour or go to one of the open houses. Not only is it a charming environment, you will be amazed at how much more they manage to cover than just the basics. There is a focus on fine arts and performances, which are so great for confidence building. But they also get into robotics, go on cool field trips, and seem to have more fun events and activities than you might get in public school. The summer camp sessions are great, too! We'll be very sad to move on after 4th grade!

The first three words that come to mind when I think of the school are safe, loving, and experienced. Here are a few of the things I like most about the school: It provides a good balance between academics and fun. My son's fine motor skills have improved greatly, and now in Pre-K he is learning to read and do math, but there is still plenty of time for recess and fun activities. They also provide after-school options like basketball, science & engineering, and more. It is well-established and has been around at least since I was a kid - my two siblings and I all attended Abercrombie Academy as children. I have very fond memories of the years I spent in school there, and my older son is loving his time there as well. The school-day teachers and the aftercare staff in the preschool have years of experience, and it shows. They know just how to handle the kids in a loving and gentle, but firm, way that provides guidance in social skills and manners, and learning to care about others, while having fun and enjoying school. The classrooms and playground are charming and cozy. The preschool building has just four classrooms, (each with a fantastic teacher) so it's nice and small, just the right size for 3- and 4-year-olds. The preschoolers also do lots of "homey" activities like baking, which the kids love. The pre-K class does fun field trips. The administrative staff is great. I highly recommend Abercrombie Academy as a wonderful "home away from home" for kids to learn and play during the school year and summers.

The administration and Abercrombie family have committed to developing an innovative and thorough curriculum. They have wonderful teachers, and genuinely care about each child. To have your child go to a school where the entire staff knows not only their name, but their interests too is amazing. That does so much to boost a childs' confidence. The sense of community our daughter and family feel at Abercrombie Academy truly distinguishes this school as a hidden gem. I highly recommend you look into Abercrombie if you are interested in the advantages a private school education and compassionate staff can provide your child.

Do not leave your child in this businesses care. We started the first week of 2021- prior to…read morestarting my daughter was in the care of my mother. I worked at home and we are extremely cautious with covid. My daughter got covid the first week starting at this center and found out later on that the staff told other parents that my daughter "gave it to everyone" even though the teacher had just gone on vacation and tested positive but wasn't showing symptoms... whatever. So needless to say we started off on a bad foot but unfortunately there was no light at the end of the tunnel. My daughter had extreme blistering diaper rash in their care. I would get it cleared up over the weekend and it was clockwork by Tuesday she had it again. When you put your 1 year old in their car seat and they scream at the top of their lungs because their butt is literally raw it's infuriating. I would say something in the morning when dropping her off, I would call during the day, I would email and NOTHING changed until I threatened to pull her from their care. She is at a new center and has NEVER had diaper rash since being in the new facilities care. They have an app that i thought would be fantastic....how great to receive photos of your child all day and get updated on how they are doing. Wrong! I would get an update of what she ate that day and sometimes they would also send a picture of her eating. Well, the photo never matched what it said she was eating which was extremely concerning. I understand that when a toddler starts daycare they are going to get sick a lot. But in the 5 months of us being in their care my daughter was always sick. Parents weren't notified if kids in the class were sick. My daughter threw up in her crib one night and had a horrible stomach bug (which then our entire house got) but after she was better and I brought her back the lady at the front said "oh she got it too".... I was in shock. Our new facility lets us know if any kid in the entire school gets sick and what it is-parents are notified in the app and on the front door of the center. The learning experience only notified us when it was covid. If it wasn't covid, good luck and be prepared to use a lot of your work sick time. A couple of reasons I think my daughter may have been sick all of the time could have been because I would send her to school with her cup LABELED because I do what I'm supposed to and they send her out with another child's cup. I get it kids may drink out of another kids cup but it didn't only happen once, it happened all of the time. She came home in other kids clothes(I had 3 changes of clothes there) , with other kids sheets(they had 2 extra sheets) - which is also extremely frustrating when you do label everything and then you don't get your stuff back because it went home with another kid but they don't know who. The kicker and what made me pull her from their care was for the 2nd time I picked her up and she smelt like poop when I was putting her in her car seat. The minute I got home I changed her and she had a clean diaper but she had poop in her pants. Mind you she had 3 changes of clothes as backup.... So you are telling me my poor baby has been in poopy clothes for who knows how long. She has been sitting on toys, chairs, the floor....her poo particles were on everything. NO WONDER she was always sick. I called immediately when I saw and the teacher said she didn't notice. This was the second time it had happened and the next day I emailed them letting them know she wouldn't be returning. As a new mom you don't know what to expect and what is "acceptable". I didn't know if I was overreacting so I asked friends and none of them could believe the standard of the learning experiences care. The reason we chose this center was because of the tour Ms. Jessica gave us- she made us feel at home and you could really see the passion she had. Unfortunately Ms. Jessica isn't the one watching your children. If you say anything to Ms. Courtney good luck on that information being relayed to the people that need to know about it. Oh and good luck on getting your emails returned- that was always like pulling teeth. I highly recommend you keep looking for care elsewhere!

Mil gracias.
