We are having to leave the school because of a move and I'm crying (last day today) I could not have asked for better teachers. My son started first and just grew so confident and learned so many things from this school. My daughter started after and she is getting this blossoming personality and just lights up when she sees her teachers. Disappointed to say the least! Just like everyone else, I saw all twenty positive reviews and was excited to take my 2 year old , mind you I was FULLY transparent with the staff that this is his first experience with ANY form of childcare and that he is an only child who has hardly ever been around his peers. The school does what they call "transition days" I was explained it was 2 hours long for 2 days. Day 1, I take him and as expected we are both anxious I was worried the whole time expecting my son was high stressed, to my surprise I picked him up an hour later as instructed, and he was playing with the toys and engaging with his teacher, not crying not crying or fussing. Sandy, the owner (beware) explained that she was concerned and used verbiage like "I'm not sure if he's capable..." in reference to my child adapting socially. He is two and as they explained he is already ahead of their curriculum but we have struggled with the social aspect. She then implied to that ny two year old may have ASD or ADHD based on a single hour long interaction because he wasn't responding to His name for her. After ONE time around his for less than 2 hours. She said she didn't know if it would be a good fit after that 1 time. However, She suggested we try him in the class for two year old rather than the 3 year old Class he was in so he didn't regress. Her verbiage and response to My toddler naturally rubbed me the wrong way so I shopped around and prayed on it. I decided to entertain her theory of the toddler 2 class despite her obvious frustrations, since the directors were not the teachers. After taking him for the 2nd time I was immediately greeted with an eerie smile showing their clear discomfort that I was back with my toddler. She told me he couldn't eat the breakfast I brought although their rules are to provide their meals she wouldn't let me say bye and the later told me it won't be a good fit based on atom of contradicting statements. Just like most parents my baby is my world to be mistreated or given up on after a max of 2 hours total is disheartening. All children are not accustomed to childcare or exposed to other children. The behavior for Middle Aged women who are running a facility for out kids was disgusting. I want my son to be in a nurturing environment where he is given grace and patience rather than one of hostility and hopelessness for his future. read more

We feel so blessed to have found this school. From the owner Mark who greets every parent and child at the door by name every morning, to Theresa in the front office who is soo very kind, wise like my own mother and considerate to your needs, to our daughters teachers Ms Erica & Ms Emely who are Angel people, so knowledgeable and creative with entertaining the kids -- needless to say we lovveeeeee KSMS. There are 4+ different park/play areas for each age group that have plenty of activities, toys and fun things for the kids to do during outside time. I can't brag about this place enough!!! Klein-Spring Montessori has been such a blessing to our family. We were greeted with a smile everyday, and felt completely at ease leaving our daughter in their care. Our daughter has learned so much while at KSM; she is more than prepared to start pre-k this upcoming school year. The staff is super friendly, and understanding. My child is in the toddler class and all of the 3 teachers are the best. Yes, all 3, the teacher child ratio is the best I seen here. At other facilities I have to always worry if the main teacher is not there .... because my child will have a hard time with the teacher aids she rarely sees. BUT here if I don't see the main teacher I don't have to worry about. All 3 teachers love my child and my child know it and feels it. This makes me feel so much better and I don't worry or have to move mountains and rivers just to try to get off from work to pick her up early because the main teacher is not there. ‍ read more

My Son was enrolled at KSMS in October of 2021. After being at home for almost two years (due to the pandemic), I was a little nervous he would be behind in the school room and socially. My Son was previously enrolled in traditional daycare, so my Spouse and I were not familiar with Montessori. We toured several traditional day cares, and other Montessori centers in the area, and it was an easy decision to choose KSMS. We were most impressed with the staff and curriculum. Most other facilities (traditional and Montessori) have a quick turnaround on staff (we found, and our previous daycare did). But, this is not the case with KSMS. It speaks volumes when the staff stays onboard for years, decades, etc. We cannot say enough good things about the front office staff, the teachers, and assistants. Everyone knows our child by name, they know our names, and they engage us and our child daily. They have supported us during a difficult year for our Family and we feel cared for. Our Son did a 180 in his social skills and education after enrollment. He has progressed very quickly in the things he learns about...his motor skills, his speech, vocabulary, his manners, and etiquette. We do not worry when we drop our Son off at school. We know he is in good hands. We feel safe, and he feels safe. We have peace of mind. read more

My best friend recently enrolled her 3 year old son here. And it has been amazing! I went on the first few tours with her to give her my opinion and check it our for myself. Previously her son went to one of those huge fancy over the top daycares..let me tell you, those were all for show. Since going to Klein-Spring Montessori, her son's attitude and behavior has greatly improved. His vocabulary has also shot through the roof! The changes I have seen in him are amazing. One day I had to pick him up from school and everything was so CALM! No screaming, no crying, no kids running around like wild creatures. Klein-Spring is great! Before we moved to Texas in June of 2019, we called KSMS to feel them out. They gave us some tips on how to help our daughter's speech and if we were interested still when we moved to Spring, to please stop by. Our daughter was 3 1/2 when we moved to Spring. In August of 2019, we decided to put her in school. We called a few places. But we kept circling back to KSMS. I took her down for a tour and she didn't want to leave! We enrolled her and it was the best choice we ever made!! She thrived and progressed so much in the 2 years she was there!! She's so far ahead of her kinder classmates and can read, at the age of 5! I owe everything to this school. They're so kind and caring. They truly love their students as their own children. It was a teary goodbye on her last day. They really take the time to get to know your children and form bonds with them. They're not just another name on a roster. They understand the value of a good education at such an early age. I never felt worried or scared dropping her off. She often cried when I picked her up because she loved it there so much! I would give this school a million stars if I could. My twins have been enrolled for several months now and the have become more disciplined, caring and educated. When we toured the school we noticed everything, including the toys, had an educational purpose. The head teacher, Ms. Louisa and Sandy, the owner, work with us and guide us on age appropriate functions like "lets start moving them toward drinking from cups" and they show us how with kindness. They make you feel so good about leaving your kids with them every day. I honestly feel my twins are loved by Ms. Louisa, Ms. Annette, Ms. Sandy and all of the other staff. My oldest daughter attended from 2.5 through entering Kindergarten. My youngest daughter has been going since she was 18 months old and is 3.5 years old now. This preschool has been a gift to my kids and our family. It is well run. It is clean and the children are well kept. My kids thrived and learned so much. My oldest daughter moved into Kindergarten more than prepared. The staff has supported us through life challenges such as loss of work, serious illness, deaths in the family, and family issues. They have celebrated with us too, giving gifts for birthdays and when my youngest was born. They are family to us. I highly recommend this staff and school. My son has attended Klein-Spring Montessori for the past year and a half, and he will be starting kindergarten next Fall. We are so very happy with the experience he has had in preschool here. When we first toured the school, I spoke with Sandy, the owner, and from our conversation she recommended one of two teachers for my son's age. One teacher was more purely Montessori-based while the other worked in more traditional teaching methods also. When I visit or volunteer, I'm always impressed by how calm, polite, and self-sufficient all the children are. My parents both visited for a 'Celebration of Life' on my son's birthday, and they both commented on how well run the classroom was and how happy the children are. With preschoolers there is, of course, always commotion and intense emotion, but all the teachers handle it with amazing ease. The whole school creates a very loving environment. The owners, teachers, and office workers ALL truly care about the students, know all the families, and immediately address any concerns they have or you have. My son loves choosing his 'work' from the huge supply of Montessori materials. They are taught very well how to work independently and clean up after themselves, and then they enjoy 'community time' learning together. There is also some paperwork worked in to help ease the transition into kindergarten. He is way beyond prepared for kindergarten curriculum. I think all the children are! I toured several schools before checking out this one on a personal recommendation, and I just immediately knew this was the right school. These people are all teaching for the right reasons! We are truly grateful to have had our son's preschool experience at Klein-Spring Montessori! read more

We love KSM! Our daughter has only been going here for 4 months but we are amazed by how much she has learned in such a short time. Her vocabulary has grown so fast (in English and Spanish), and she has become much more independent at home, not just at school. We love all the teachers and love the bond that so many have formed with our daughter. Communication is great, they do a good job of keeping parents in the loop with what is going on with your child. I can't say enough good things about Klein-Spring Montessori. These folks are excellent at young childrens' education. My wife and I were very hesitant to put our 2yo. son in just any Montessori school, because not all of them are created equal. With my wife's foresight, we were able to book a space for my kid in Klein-Spring and we felt at ease with his wellbeing and education from the moment he started there. He loves his teachers and for good reason, because upon meeting them we can tell how committed they are to their work and their love for young kids. Let me preface the following review with some facts about myself: -I am the mom that sat at my infant daughter's crib with a finger just under her nose while she slept so that I could feel her breathing. -I am the mom that calls the school just to check on my daughter's day. -I am the mom that saves the preschool progress reports because I can't imagine that there has ever been a smarter preschooler on the face of the planet than my daughter. - I am the mom that worries if the choices that I make as a parent are the right choices, and I wonder how they will effect my daughter as she grows into an adult. With all of that in mind: When my daughter started at KSMS at the age of 2- now almost 3 years ago!!- she was in desperate need of structure and LOTS of love. The summer we enrolled at KSMS I became a single mom and my daughter and I moved into a new home, in a new city, and we both needed stability in our lives. In our time at KSMS my daughter and I have come to view the faculty and administrators as an extension of our family. Together we have celebrated my daughters' successes and we have brainstormed ways to resolve issues we have faced. I have relied on all of the staff at the school to keep an open line of communication with me, to cooperate with us, and even to humor me sometimes! Since her enrollment almost 3 years ago my daughter has become an energetic, inquisitive student who is excited about learning. It's amazing to me how much she has grown since she started attending this school. This fall my daughter will enter Kindergarten in the Klein ISD and I know that she will be ready. KSMS has not only taught her the fundamentals that one would expect to find in a preschool program, they have helped to changed the face of my daughter's preschool years. I am eternally grateful to the entire KSMS staff for the attention, love and care they have provided to us each and every day. We absolutely LOVE this Montessori! Our family has been with KSMS for about 6 years now (with a few years off in between) and it has always been an amazing little school. When our older 2 children (now ages 10 and 9) attended this school, I knew that one day our younger children would have to attend as well. Now, our 2 year old is enrolled and he LOVES it just as much as his older siblings did and even had one of their old teachers. The staff is kind and patient and you get that "welcome to our family" feel when you enter. We are currently in the process of having to search for a new Montessori, as we are planning a move down the the Pearland/Friendswood area next Summer to be closer our family and for work. The search for another Montessori has been very heartbreaking thus far, as the handful of schools that we have looked at don't give us that "feeling" we got when we found KSMS. Immediately we knew that KSMS was one of the good ones and we haven't found one that is comparable to it down in that area yet. As crazy as it may seem to some, we have seriously considered making the 1hr commute up/down to Spring from Pearland so that our son can continue attending KSMS and eventually for his younger sibling when the day comes. That's how good of a school KSMS is and that's how high of a standard they have set for us to compare other schools to. My husband and I have worked with children ourselves for many years, and you can tell when someone genuinely likes and understands kids; they understand kids and they LOVE them! read more

Great school! My son went there before he went to elementary school and my daughter goes there now. I've always been impressed with the level of commitment from the school's owners. They are always looking for ways to make things exciting for the kids and it really makes a difference. I was so impressed when my little girl came home from KSMS one day and was so eager to brush her teeth! She even brushed her tongue because "the sugar bugs like to hide in your tongue". i would definitely recommend this preschool to anyone looking in the area. I highly recommend Klein Spring Montessori School. My 3 kids started there in June of 2012. Today was my twins' last day at KSM since it is now time for Kindergarten. I can't imagine that a better place exists for their pre-school years. The entire staff is high quality, caring, kind, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and wonderful. My son attended K.S.M.S from ages 2-5 and loved it! The teachers, staff, Ms. Yolanda, Sandy, Mark and Barbara all made him feel like he was part of their family. I am glad we found this school, because I feel it gave him a wonderful foundation for learning. His first year of kindergarten he was reading within 2 weeks!
