Instead of standing by their educators--those who dedicate themselves to shaping young minds--the administration appears to bow to financial power, leaving teachers disheartened and vulnerable. What should be a nurturing educational institution has devolved into a business driven by revenue, not relationships, and certainly not by Christ. The well-being of children, the professional respect of faculty, and the cultivation of a caring community have been sacrificed on the altar of financial gain and branding appeal. TWCA is not just failing in their mission--it is actively harming those it is meant to serve. Education should inspire and uplift, not divide and exploit. Please do your research beyond what their fake advertisement leads you to believe. Good people do not graduate from The Woodlands "Christian" Academy after what these kids are put through and exposed to.

This has greatly increased his enthusiasm for school! We were tired of paying private school prices for a public school experience. The Montessori schools are too far away, but that is the type of independent learning environment our child thrives in. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to schedule a tour or go to one of the open houses. Not only is it a charming environment, you will be amazed at how much more they manage to cover than just the basics. There is a focus on fine arts and performances, which are so great for confidence building. But they also get into robotics, go on cool field trips, and seem to have more fun events and activities than you might get in public school. The summer camp sessions are great, too! Coming from Germany only 5 years ago, the size of the public high school was an issue which we did not anticipate. Cunae is in comparison a lot smaller, but that was in our case exactly what we were looking for. Our son absolutely thrived in the last two years. The IB program was what attracted us in the first place, but the whole concept at this school is fantastic.

We thought the school was a good fit for our creative child but it's restrictive and everything has to strictly align with Steiner philosophy from the 1900's with no room for current research or freedom for individual interests. Beautiful church. It's a large church. They have regular private school here. Staff was really…read morenice. They are part of the Global Methodist branch, and have several services to select from. Their main pastor speaks at the traditional and contemporary services. There is also a "modern" service held in another building called the "Loft" which I see has its own Yelp review page. They have a younger man and woman speaking over there. I was told the main difference between it and "contemporary" service aside from the pastoring is the music, which is apparently heavier and more alternative rock. I'd go there next time but this time we went to the contemporary and heard their main pastor who is a good speaker and for once someone not totally into sports like most pastors I've heard. The kids program looked pretty comprehensive with an in depth study for 6th graders wanting to learn more about Christ. They have Spanish speaking service and I did read they have a mandarin speaking church group as well.
