Review I purchased 14 windows from NEXT Door and Windows in October 2022, and they were installed on 6/30/23. Several problems make me want to never use this company again: 1. Two large windows (double hung) in my dining room were measured incorrectly (despite two separate measurements being performed), and these were not replaced on the original installation day. These needed to be re-ordered, and then a second installation date (9/2/23) was required 8 weeks later. 2. The bathroom window was supposed to be a new opaque window. The sales person mentioned that the new window would only allow a form to be seen, but that details would not be visible. However, after the bathroom window was installed, I noticed that details could be clearly seen from the outside. This window (now very transparent) makes the bathroom not usable unless I have the window covered completely. This was unacceptable for a new window that was supposed to provide privacy. The service team needed to return on 7/29/23 to perform work on this window to make it more opaque. 3. During the installation day, the installation team was asking me if I wanted the frames to be "picture frame" or if I wanted to keep the original style of the frame of the windows. In addition, the installation team wanted to know whether the outside color of the windows should be white or beige. This was concerning because I went over this in great detail with the sales team. This lack of communication worried me about the quality of the communication of NEXT's teams. 4. Blinds were supposed to be re-installed after the windows were installed (according to my contract). However, there was a change in the dimensions of several windows: a picture window bookended by two double hung windows were changed to a picture window bookended by two casement windows. Since the dimensions of these windows have changed, I can no longer use the old blinds--I will need to order new blinds to fit these windows. This was not discussed during the sale of the windows. In addition, the old blinds were not installed. The sales manager mentioned that I was charged for this re-installation (since it was in my contract); however, no attempt was made to credit me after I brought this up several times. 5. On 7/1/23 the service manager came to inspect the problems with the windows, and he discovered that one double hung window that was installed was very difficult to open. This required a separate visit from the service team (7/29/23) to perform work on the window so that it could open smoothly. Despite these problems, it took multiple phone calls and sending pictures to the leadership of NEXT Door and Windows to convince them that there were problems. The transparent bathroom window concerns were initially dismissed since "everyone orders that window for the bathroom." It took a photo before they agreed that there was a problem. Marvin windows are great; however, the hassle and frustrations of working with NEXT make me want to never use this company again. My window installation required 4 visits (6/30, 7/1, 7/29, and 9/2) to have windows installed that were working correctly. Despite this hassle, NEXT offered 2% discount on windows, and seemed to value their own profits over customer experience. I recommend going to www.marvin.com and finding a local company with more skill in communication, installation, and professionalism. It would be worth this effort to avoid the hassle and frustration that come with an installation from NEXT.

I would highly recommend Nextdoor. Our salesman Jason Bye was friendly, knowledgeable and informative on the entire process and timeframe of our window installation. The crew was prompt, respectful and neat covering all my furniture and did a excellent cleanup when they left. Extremely satisfied and would recommend them.

This photo doesn't do justice. The old door was awful and the new one is gorgeous!!!

Here's how they stood out: They had excellent communication. From Angelo's estimate all the way to passing inspection, they were on top of their game. The estimate had every combination of options listed with exactly what they were going to do and photos of the planned work. We were assigned a field supervisor (Justin, I believe?) who would come out on the same day to inspect any issues we brought up. Our contact with the office via Cindy and Anthony was also superb and always timely. The work was done swiftly and well. The roofers were done before I got back from work. Siding and gutters are more involved, but they did excellent there as well and Roman et al. were excellent to work with, took feedback very well (see communication above), and were very hard and efficient workers. All in all, we were done with our project long before other houses in the same subdivision who had all signed up with doorknocker companies, and they delivered a high level of quality. To be clear, their estimate was slightly higher (my gut says 10% higher, but it's been a while since I reviewed the proposals) than some other offers we received, but for the work that we were doing, level of customization, and communication, we wouldn't make a different choice. Absolutely a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Siding and Windows Group!

I'm usually not one to spend time getting a bunch of quotes and just rely on Yelp reviews to make a purchasing decision, but this was pricey enough purchase that i figured I should do my due diligence.' Siding & Windows Group was one of the 4 companies I had come out for a quote. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.
