First time visiting - Kosta, probably the owner, waited on me. Friendly guy. Food was great. Got a 1 topping pizza and fish and chips (Friday). Store pretty busy at lunch time -- good sign. Very generous portions of fish and fries - seasoned just right; will be coming back! Pizza was better than average- good dough/crust. Not like the chains Papa John's, Domino's, light, just the right crispness. Girl in front of me ordered F & C with a steak and cheese. She said she been coming here a while and likes the food. read more

Delicious pizza, fast and friendly service. This place always satisfies and they are very kind. Their specialty pizzas look great, they have a nice variety and I want to try more options. My favorite so far is Chic bacon ranch. Sizes go from small, medium, to large, although a small fills me up easily. The location is close by and easy for me to pull up to. Always quick and painless, which I more than appreciate. I have nothing but good things to say about Newton Sq. Pizza. Keep up the great work. read more

Newton Square Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

I love this place. Pizza is delicious and the toppings are fresh. Very fun specialty pizza options. I plan on trying the crab rangoon pizza next! I live down the street so I've always do pick up and I usually order below the $15 min for delivery. read more

Pizza amazing. Sandwiches are a disgrace. Got turkey and bacon sub. Hardly anything even in the sandwich. Was so dissapointed. Barely enuf for a child. read more

Love the fish and chips here. Great size portion and love the cole slaw. Always a go to on a Friday night.

I had heard good things about this place and wasn't disappointed. Good pizza, very good Greek salad, generous serving of onion rings, fast delivery. We'll definitely order here again. read more

Stopped by and had a steak and cheese wrap with fries. LOTS of steak with mushrooms, onions, and peppers covered with provelone cheese! That, combined with crispy fries created a tasty and filling lunch that I will definitely go back for more! read more

Why do I love thee so, Newton square pizza? Perhaps because your buffalo chicken pizza is amazing! Love this local place.

I love the pizza here. It's thin with the right amount of ingredients. Farmers pizza and buffalo chicken get an A+. The delivery isn't the greatest, the guy actually walked into my house before but I will still be going here since I just moved into town. read more

Fresh and tasty crust pizza. Chicken Pesto and Spanakopita are the real bombs. The best French fries are here.

This is the best place in Worcester for pizza! The prices are a little high but higher quality requires higher prices. The crust is cooked to perfection and they Don't skimp on the toppings. They have some interesting specialty pizzas as well like the crab Rangoon which is interesting I liked it but wasn't a huge fan but definitely good on those munchies kinda nights. There is a 1.00 delivery charge that most places don't charge but here they do and it is worth it food comes hot and fresh typical time is about 40 mins but that's about normal anyway. The appetizers are ok good portion size and price but just nothing special is all. Over all I highly recommend your try this place! read more

Delicious pizza, fast delivery. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. New favorite and haven't had others since.

This place is our go to! (My boyfriend and I). We moved her from New York and this is only place that's has compared to New York pizza! Also, I'm all about getting my subs from a sub shop and not a pizzeria. I was very weary about trying their subs. But boy was I wrong! DELICIOUS! I would recommend this place to any and everyone! read more

Great chicken salad sandwich. pizza is pretty good. The owner is a friendly dude and always smiling. I probably order pickup here twice a week. Their fries are homemade read more

Their fish and chips are reliably good. Well prepared, fresh fish is served with both tartar sauce and a lemon wedge. Their coleslaw is simple, crispy and flavorful; clearly they make their own. It is not the average coleslaw from a gallon jar. read more

I waited 20mins for my pizza but my gyro was ready in 5, it was cold when I got it with the french fries dry. I brought it up to the front and was told that's how the fries come. Obviously the next question is can you give me a different side. Luckily the owner came ro the front and said he would make me a new batch of fries. Yea, it's minor but I know the fries are usually amazing! Anyway, it was quickly fixed within 2 minutes, and I am one happy customer! I will continue coming here because of the great customer service. Quick tip - Tuesdays they have any large pizza for $10 read more

So glad we decided to try Newton square pizza after our surrounding pizza places have let us down. Everything was fresh and delicious, you can tell they really care about the quality!! read more

This place is delicious, the pizza is not greasy, and it's fairly priced. The melizzana pizza is the best I've had, most other eggplant pizza is sloppy. They are affordable but not at the cost of quality. They're delivery is always quick and polite. I have tried multiple pizza shops the 4 years I've lived in Worcester and this is alWays my go to. read more

Love this place! We live up the street. All of the specialty pies we have tried have been phenomenal- especially the steak and cheese, pesto chicken, and bbq chicken. We love this place! Best thing is- they have a deal on Tuesdays. You can get any large pizza with three toppings or less for $10 and you get like $5 off of all of the other pizzas. Amazing place! We are NEVER disappointed. We want to try the spanakopita and the crab rangoon pizza! read more

This is my go to for take out. Good subs, pizza, and homemade chips. Fries are pretty darn good as well.

Always excited to see a non-Greek pizza place pop up on the Worcester food scene! The pictures on their take-out menu are enough to make you want to order the food. Kudos to their menu designer and printing company, lol...ok, now on to the actual food....Just as a disclaimer, this review is based on only having tried one item so take it for what it's worth. Got a large Melizzane pizza- thinly breaded fried eggplant with garlic, feta cheese and red peppers. Great, balanced flavors, seemingly very fresh ingredients, not greasy AT ALL, plentiful and even distribution of the toppings. Way better than a "not bad" pizza! The crust was slightly overwhelmed by the generous topping but not super soggy and floppy. The crust is similar to a Papa Gino's crust (which to me personally, is a compliment)- it appears to have a slight dusting of corn meal/corn flour on the crust, soft with some texture yet not as much chew as Papa G's. Whatever. A very solid pizza. Had a very positive first experience and will definitely give their subs a try. And they serve/feature Boar's Head meats if that means anything to you. Polite customer service on the phone, good delivery time- give this place a shot for sure! read more

Newton Square Pizza - Melizzana pizza (half eaten:) - Pizza Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

Delicious pizza and drool worthy calzones, probably one of the best places in worcester hands down! Always super friendly when you call and delivery is always on point. I don't think I ever waited more than 30-45 minutes. There was just once I called to order a pizza with ricotta (comes on their four cheese and an option for their calzones) and the (very young sounding) guy taking my order at first had NO idea what ricotta was and when i explained it was a type of cheese proceeded to say they didn't have it there, even though I've ordered it before. Other than that hiccup, I can't say I've ever had a bad experience here! read more

Best Pizza on the West Side of Worcester. Can take a while to get your order but just give yourself an extra 10 minutes before going down to get the pizza. Fried Rav's are the best! read more

Nicest staff ever! Very Good pizza for Worcester, and great apps! I've never had a bad experience!

This place is wonderful! I have been living in the area for about a year now and that has given me the time to find my favorite restaurants. For pizza and wings its Newton Square. They try to think outside the pizza box with everything on their menu. Their meatlovers pizza will make you submit tho the sexy goodness and their wings will show you the face of god. read more

Really excellent pizza I really enjoyed it, delivery was fast and friendly, my only complaint is that they aren't open super late for late night cravings, otherwise it is one of the best pizzas in Worcester! read more

This is a new joint on June St. I hear they were in business before but recently relocated to June St. Thank God! Otherwise I may not have heard of them. I have tried several sandwiches. THey are very high quality. The sandwich options are pretty straight forward. Nothing very creative, but all high quality with decent portions at reasonable prices. I have not been let down. They use Boars Head meat as pointed out by the previous Yelper. That IS a big deal. Its the best. My wife often gets the steak tip dinner and we have tried the pasta and like it all. I dont eat pizza so I can not comment on that. Every time I order they are polite and get my order right. Easy communication. This is the best choice for delivery in the Tatnuck area for sandwiches and pasta dishes. read more

So, I want to give this 4-stars but I can't. The spanikopita pizza was AMAZING! but the rest of the food was about on par with the rest of the pizza shops. My girlfriend loves this place, and will choose to order from here over other places, but I cant see anything overly special. The delivery crew is very nice - I will say that You can't go wrong coming here, I definitely recommend the Spanikopita pizza! read more

Personal preference: I really like Italian style pizza better than Greek. Just moved to this neighborhood, and was thrilled to discover this place is only a block away. They do primariliy take out and delivery, but there is seating to eat in. Could use a TV in this area to encourage customers to hang out. Service was quick; took barely 10 minutes to get our food. Their pizza is just what I like. Crust is what you'd describe as 'hand tossed' and lubricated with cornmeal instead of oil. They are pretty easy on the sauce, so there is a wide strip of puffy crust for holding (and eating). Toppings are FRESH. Would have had 5 stars, but we felt it could have been cooked a minute or two longer... was missing a real crispness to the base and some brown caramelized spots on the cheese. Excellent flavor though. Have not tried the sandwiches yet; will post again when I do. But if you're looking for Italian style pizza this is a really good option. read more

If you like pizza that's greasy and requires a months supply of napkins to sop up the oil, then this is definitely not for you. Very fresh and tasty Italian style pizza with just the right amount of sauce. Tried a large plain to see if it could stand on its own merits and couldn't have been more pleased. Even ate the crust, which I seldom do. This little gem has a couple of tables and is spotless. Sandwiches are also available and made with Boar's Head meats. It's obvious the owner wants to sell quality, not quantity. This is my new go to place on the West Side. read more

Food is good but service is TERRIBLE. We ordered two Greek Salads the day we were moving. The driver delivered the salads and no cutlery or salad dressing. We sat and stared at the salads for over an hour before the driver came back. Not worth the price given the driver is an idiot. read more

Love this place moved into the area recently and tried a few different places. The woman that usually waits on is very friendly. Love that they don't skimp on pizza toppings. read more

Great food, staff always nice even when super busy, and they always get your order right. We're glad to have them in the neighborhood.

So glad we found this place! GREAT pizza! It's consistently just right...the crust, sauce, toppings. Awesome :) The only problem is, I've been eating way too much of it! read more

This place is mediocre at best. The pizza sauce tastes like it's from a jar, but the grilled chicken is good and they have excellent teriyaki sauce. read more

My new favorite Worcester pizza place. I highly recommend the meat lovers pizza, with an amazing amount of delicious toppings. The prices are decent, and the location is great. read more

Pleasantly surprised with Newton sq pizza. Prices are great and the pizza is of good quality. Bacon chicken ranch pizza is amazing and they make their own potato chips with their sandwiches. Staff is very friendly and generous. Guy at counter gave me a free drink because someone new got my order wrong but they fixed it and I didn't wait that long. read more

The garden salads with grilled chicken is where it's at. Solid pizza joint

Again, I wish yelp would allow half stars. On the pizza alone, I'd give Newton Square Pizza a solid 4 stars. Good crust, good sauce, decent toppings, good alternative to Worcester Greek style pizza. BUT for the chicken wings I'd give them 2 stars. Soggy, rubbery skin, nuf said. read more

We tried the potato pizza and the crab rangoon pizza. Definitely worth the try, and will be kept in mind for future "strange munchies" attacks! read more
