One thing to note is that the store requires using stairs. I didn't notice signage for an elevator or an alternative, though it's possible I didn't see it. If there isn't a sign already, more visible signage would be helpful for visitors with different accessibility needs. The store also offers a selection of merchandise catering to different interests, including hats, stickers, bags, and other gifts/trinkets. Prices were fair for a small book-store and conditions of the books. Staff were attentive, checking in on both customers and craft night participants throughout our time. Flyers and posters about upcoming events, book clubs, craft nights, and staff recommendations were clearly displayed around the store. Our group enthusiastically noted the eye-catching small bookshelf craft displayed next to the register! The space was clean and organized. The craft area was arranged ready with supplies and appeared freshly cleaned before the event began. The seating seemed to be a little tight but it's a small store to begin with. Pricing for events seemed fair and registration process seemed reasonable. We had a last minute person join our group to a sold-out event and staff was helpful finding a solution. Shelves and merchandise displays were tidy and engaging to customers. The single-room bathroom was also clean. The beautiful star-pattern wallpaper added a whimsical touch--I almost wanted to take a picture of it but it's a bathroom lol. They have a large selection of Fall decor and a lot of it is on sale. The quality was good. There were so many things to look at from floor to ceiling. I wanted to purchase this dog welcome sign and it was too high up to reach. The employees were so kind and helpful. They got it down for me and were so nice. They have some Thanksgiving and Christmas decor in the store. I thought the prices were good. I bought a large scarecrow and my dog welcome sign. Although, I don't agree with their ideology... They both were defective. I assume they knew but kept selling because people wouldn't use it until they're home or even later. I bought 2 things of vape juice. I said I wanted no nicotine. They sold me one with 3mg of nicotine. It was hard to tell because they sell products from sketchy places, so the labels are very hard to read. It took some time, but I eventually figured out the nicotine and then I noticed the expiration dates. These items were 8 months expired. For something that goes into your lungs, expiration dates matter more than regular items. This is why they regulate vape shops and vape juice. They clearly buy from an unregulated source that makes bad and unsafe products. You would ask me, why would you go back? Well today I wanted some Hempire cones (I prefer them to Raws) and they were out. I noticed that most of what they had was king size. I specifically said I didn't want a king size cone. They're just too big for me. I bought two packages because she read the package and I believed she could read. I think she could read. I also think she had been instructed to sell products to customers who wouldn't recognize until they got home that they were the right product. Why? Because it's happened more than once to me. The vape juice, the cones. These are just the ones I can think of at the moment. But it happens almost every time I go there and they are the worst store you could shop at.
