Their pricing was very competitive; I had obtained 4 bids for this job. George is very accessible by phone or text, and is in close contact with his clients. I am very glad I chose E C Hardwood Flooring, and I highly recommend them to you for quality workmanship, completed in a timely manner, with great clean up too!

George gave a number of different suggestions based on our floors, layout, family (we've got young children), and budget and we were able to figure out something that met all our needs. To be honest, I didn't bother calling anyone else after getting his quote because it was clear that George is honest, deeply knowledgeable about his craft, and cares about the work he does. He and his crew were able to work in our project to meet everyone's schedules and they did beautiful, careful work. Beforehand we did a walkthrough to confirm what they would be doing. (At this point we decided to also refloor the tiny laundry room. It didn't cost much and totally worth it!) Throughout the project George kept me updated via text and photos and was super quick to reply to my questions. Our floors look fantastic and I 100% recommend George and EC Hardwood flooring.

Picture a decades-long horror movie marathon, but instead of ghosts and ghouls, it was contractors and service providers. And trust me--those jump scares were real. Let's rewind to when we moved into our current home ten years ago. Bright-eyed and full of hope, we decided to rip out all the carpeting and install engineered wood on the main floor and commercial-grade Berber upstairs. We went with one of those big box stores--you know the ones with the catchy jingles and questionable installation crews. At first, everything looked great. The installers were friendly, professional, and the floors gleamed like a Pinterest dream. But they installed them in August, when the heat was doing its best impression of a sauna. They left generous expansion gaps around the edges, which seemed smart... until early spring rolled around. The temperatures were much lower, the floors contracted, and suddenly our beautiful planks were playing hide-and-seek with the baseboards. Spoiler alert: the labor warranty had expired, and the material warranty didn't cover "seasonal heartbreak" or poor installation. So we lived with those gappy, groaning floors for nearly a decade. Cue the sad montage. Enter: Touchdown Flooring, stage left. Our story with them began not with a sales pitch, but with a misdelivered Amazon package. Our portable air conditioner ended up at the home of Jordan, one of Touchdown's owners, who also happens to live in our condo complex. Instead of shrugging and keeping the mystery box, Jordan played detective, figured out it was ours, and personally delivered it to our door. That's right--he showed up with our AC unit in his truck like some kind of flooring superhero. Naturally, we got to chatting. He was kind, courteous, and refreshingly honest. That one interaction led to a visit to Touchdown's storefront in Issaquah, where we met Jordan's dad, Sergio. Sergio is the kind of guy who makes you feel like you've known him forever--part flooring expert, part wise uncle. He listened to our tale of flooring woe, handed us some vinyl plank samples, and told us to take our time. No pressure, just good vibes. A few days later, Jordan came by to do the estimate. We talked more about the company, his background, and by the end of the visit, we were sold--not just on the product, but on the people. We accepted the estimate, paid the deposit, and scheduled the work. The crew showed up, did their thing, and bam--flooring magic. Here's the bottom line: Touchdown isn't the cheapest, and they're not the most expensive. But they are, without a doubt, the best value. What we got for our money was worth every penny and then some: professionalism, efficiency, and customer service that felt like a warm hug. If you care about the intangibles--the stuff you can't put a price on--Touchdown is a no-brainer. They're the reason local, family-owned businesses deserve your business. They treated us with respect, gave us their full attention, and clearly took pride in their work. Now, here's the kicker: I waited four months to write this review. Why? Because I've been burned before. Floors that looked great in August turned into warped nightmares by March. But here we are, in the peak of summer, and our floors still look and feel amazing. So unless something wild happens (like the planks developing sentience and walking away), I can confidently say this was a flawless, five-star experience from start to finish. Touchdown Flooring didn't just fix our floors--they restored our faith in home improvement.

As a homeowner, I couldn't be happier with the experience and highly recommend them. Vitaliy was excellent to work with throughout the process. He communicated openly about costs, risks, and timelines. His initial quote was the most thorough and detailed among all the bids we received (e.g. including a potential subfloor leveling cost range upfront to avoid surprises later on). He was also open to incorporating a written addendum I provided alongside the standard contract so that all project expectations were clearly documented from the start. When a supplier mistake from Shaw Floors delayed materials and forced my family into a longer Airbnb stay, Vitaliy stepped up and helped cover the ~$1,500 extra cost. That meant a lot to us. The crew treated our home with respect, the floors look beautiful, and throughout the project I felt I could truly trust Vitaliy and David's Flooring. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to other homeowners for flooring work.

They gave me a ball park price, and directed me to the showroom. I wanted flooring that matched the other room of the house. I was provided with samples (kind of large slabs), and was free to bring back the samples whenever it was convenient to me. Overall, they were relaxing to work with and not pushy at all. I made the date for them to come to rip the carpet out, and install the flooring. They were able to complete one room in one day. My request was finished within 3 weeks of contacting David's flooring. The additional great thing is that since my floor was already pretty level, the need to level out my flooring was cleared out of my invoice. So, they gave really great estimates. There were no hidden fees or surprises when I worked with them. Overall, that room was about 2k. The convenience and quickness was really worth it to me. Additionally, they removed and reinstall the baseboards which makes the finish much more professional look.
