The National Anthem, God Bless America, Amazing Grace and Postlude Music from the amazing Cornerstone Chorale and the VFW Band of Colorado. Many great Guest Speakers and Moment of Silence and dedication of Wreaths by Goldstar Families escorted by Young Marines & Civil Air Patrol (so impressive to see the dedication of youth participating in these ceremonies). Also had Military Rifle Salute, Taps, Benediction, Ringing of the Honor Bell, Closing Remarks and an impressive Flyover. Was so happy to see how many people came to the ceremony and visitors at the graves of our veterans that are no longer with us. We all must not forget that Freedom is not Free!

Grandpa served in the Air Force and should have received a certain level of respect and appreciation for serving the country. The grounds were beautiful and well cared. Give people more time. Do less services a day to let people take time to say goodbye.

He helped me through all of the steps of planning the service, ordering the essentials, and reserving the chapel time. He was there for me every step of the way on this difficult journey. The chapel and service turned out to be beautiful and honored my loved one in a dignified and comforting manner. The woman in charge of arranging the entombment was difficult to work with. She was unprofessional, pushy, and tried to rush me through the process even though I asked her to slow down so I could ask questions and fully understand the process and paperwork. She needs more training or a different job. Finally, the St. Anthony Crypt where my loved one's final resting place was to be was dirty. Before the service I asked if it could be swept, dusted, and cleaned of dead bugs and cobwebs (all around and on the fountain with the statue of Mary). The morning of the service, I went to check and it had not been cleaned in any way. I returned with cleaning supplies and did it myself a couple of hours before the service. By the way, the fountain no longer operates so the least they could do is keep it clean.

We were given four different dates and timeframes for when the headstone would be installed. Each time, we were told it would only be "a few more weeks." We checked again in February--still nothing. We returned on May 17th and still nothing. I sent another email hoping for answers and never received a response. Today is December 15th, 2025. It has been over a year, and there is still no headstone and no update. Every visit breaks my heart all over again. This has been an incredibly painful experience during an already unbearable time, and I am deeply disappointed. I wish I had spared myself more heartbreak and laid my baby to rest somewhere else. Please spare yourself the added pain and consider carefully before placing your loved ones in the care of Mount Olivet. In my experience, there was a profound lack of compassion and understanding during an already unimaginable time of grief. What should have been handled with care and respect instead became another source of heartbreak.

Worst Service EVER! After my son's tragic death in 2024, I…read morecontacted A Basic Cremation to handle his remains. The representative, or "arranger", was insensitive and lacked empathy from the very first contact. Rushing me by explaining to me that she had a lot of other families to contact today when I was slow in answering the many questions being asked about my dead son. I asked about keeping the screws from my son's scapula and skull from previous injuries and was told "they will melt during cremation". It was not until after the cremation was performed that I discovered through research that the screws would've been intact since they were titanium. I requested five locks of hair from my son's body to be sent to me. The "arranger" FAILED to relay that information and the locks of hair were NOT saved!!! The week they were to receive my son's body from the medical examiner, I was told that the "arranger" would contact me once his body was received. By Tuesday of that week I had not received any word from them so I called and when the "arranger" answered, she was short with me and simply asked " what can I do for you?". As if she had forgotten that she told me she would contact me once they received his body. I will always regret not asking her that day to make sure his hair locks were saved! After all was said and done, they tried to buy me off for their mistakes with some cheap, made in China keepsakes to try to make up for their mistakes. I would NEVER recommend using this business unless you want insult added to your injury!

My son passed away…read moreunexpectedly on 9.16.21, 12 days before his 32nd birthday, we were making plans to celebrate him, we had just talked on the phone the day before and texted before he went to bed. I will never forget the call, my life changed forever, he was my only child. I would have never thought that my healthy 31 year old son would go before me, go to sleep and never wake up. I never thought I would be seeking any type of burial services for my 31 year or old son, never thought about pre-planning for myself, just never thought about any funeral planning at all and had not talked to my son about any of this, why would I, he was young, healthy, active, outdoorsy and full of life! What I did know was that he would not want to be buried, that he loved the environment and would do anything to save it. My son loved the outdoors, nature, hiking, rock climbing, camping, white water canoeing, ice climbing and nature in general and he loved Colorado and all of its beauty. When I learned of water cremation and Be a Tree and it's founder Emily Nelson and what Be a Tree stood for, no carcinogens to pollute our air like a traditional fire cremation, I knew my son would approve. Emily and her staff at Be a Tree, were so helpful to my family, they were patient, they helped guide us, helped set up a small visitation prior to cremation, worked with us on the ceremony, my sons Celebration of Life, gave us some ideas for a venue and a Celebrant, they held our hand during the worse time of our lives. My family and I also got to know Half Moon Farm in Lakewood, after the water cremation, the liquid byproduct of water cremation is a nontoxic solution of amino acids, peptides, sugars, and soap, which makes a wonderful fertilizer that Be a Tree calls "Tree Tea", families may take some Tree Tea home to water trees and plants in their personal garden or donate to Half Moon Farm to be used on flowers and other non-edible plants; this is the option I chose. For this reason Half Moon Farm will always be a special place for me to go as well. We had some really nice bouquets of fresh cut flowers from Half Moon Farm at my sons service, they were absolutely beautiful. I will never forget the kindness that Emily and her staff showed to my son and my family; they took broken people and lifted us up with love and light and helped us navigate the darkness of death. Within an hour of my wife's passing, a kind representative from H & M arrived at Denver Hospice to explain the process. Within about 24 hours, I received a call from Jim Moon at the Centennial Location to not only offer his condolences but also to set up a time to meet and to arrange a time for the viewing. My wife went through a very difficult time. I remember the strain on her face as she fought for her last breaths of life and I remember how she looked when the nurse woke me up to let me know my beautiful wife had passed on into eternity. To say the viewing was life-changing is an understatement. It is hard to find the words to express how much comfort and peace that brought. She never looked so beautiful and in fact looked 10-15 years younger than when I last saw her at Denver Hospice. It was truly incredible and it's an image I will hold dear to my heart forever. Jim was absolutely amazing during the whole process. He called me every day to see how I was doing. He offered guidance and his expertise wherever and whenever needed. Pressure never once entered the equation. I worked closely with Christine on the flyer and pictures and she was simply fantastic. The service was on 2/15 and although Jim was not able to attend, Lucas was and he did fantastic. I had a couple of tricky recordings that needed to be queued up during the audio portion and he nailed it! The service was flawless. The music and pictures played beautifully. The stage looked so elegant and beautiful. It's an excruciating thing to lose your partner and best friend - even more when there is suffering involved. Having a partner like H & M there to ease this process and transition is an extraordinary gift. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have partnered with H & M to begin my process of healing. This was a very positive experience for me and my family. I am a customer for life and I cannot imagine considering anyone else for funeral and cremation services. It's not a sexy business and certainly not something we like to talk about too much but it is a part of life that we all have to face sooner or later. I feel I have gained a friend and an invaluable resource through all of this. I've read some of the reviews and although I can't speak to some of the negative experiences, I can only speak to mine and I absolutely recommend H&M because I believe this is a business that truly cares about helping loved ones through this difficult time and I received nothing but compassion, understanding and integrity through the entire process. It may not have been the cheapest in town but for what I received and the healing it brought me, it was worth every penny.

It's the first time I ever really dealt with a funeral home and/or had anything to do with a funeral director. My x wife and I are still close and I knew her mother very well. The cremation was handled and her ashes weee out in six smaller decorative boxes and given to various family members and friends. There was a huge selection of ornamental boxes to choose from and they even handled the engraving on the underside. All in all, for a terrible event in my X bride's life, the situation couldn't have gone smoother. The building itself is beautiful and the staff were polite, professional and caring. I cannot really comment on expense as it was all handled before she passed away and paid for. I have no idea whatsoever on how much it all cost.
