Kristen had excellent communication skills and made sure I understood everything that would take place upon my family member passing. Kristen always answered all calls and emails promptly. Sad to say my loved one passed this past Sept. I was then assigned to work with Andrew and McKenna(sp). Andrew was AMAZING ! Even during this stressful time he made sure all of my request were completed. He went above and beyond in all aspects of planning the service, and setting up the day of the service. There were several times I would focus on what he was doing and he was meticulous again in paying attention to small details making sure things were perfect ! Andrew truly made this day smooth and let me to truly focus on the moment and nothing else... Everything was as perfect as it could be ! I'm truly happy that when my time comes that my family will be treated with utmost respect and have full confidence that all request will be met without stress beyond the normal, under those circumstances. If I could give this location 10 stars I would in a heartbeat !! **********

The family is allowed to add a unique touch to the services to honor their loved one. They have a garden cementary , on grounds and it is beautiful. I have attended both indoor and outdoor services and was impressed by both.

Overall I appreciate their efforts but there were a few major issues that raised concerns…read more 1. Miss Gina has her daughter making the obituaries and when I was directed to her to make design changes, the daughter was not very accommodating or understanding. She came off as irritated by my request and did not put any effort to assist me with my concerns which resulted in me creating my dad's obituaries from scratch myself. The design she came up with seemed really last minute thrown together because she uses Microsoft Word to design which throws off the entire appearance. Despite this frustrating process, and interaction, I will say, Miss Gina assisted me with cutting down the cost of printing my own obituaries, which I was extremely thankful for. 2. Unfortunately they lack follow through. I reached out to her September 12 to check the status of my dad's certified death certificates and she responded that it was still pending at that time. She said that she would reach back out to me but never did. I reached back out to her on September 21st and she completely forgot to look into my dad's death certificates. I reached out to her again the following Monday and apparently the vital records office was not open. I reached out Tuesday, September 29 to the city examiner's office and they informed me that his certificates had been ready since September 9th. Even after discovering this on the 29th, it wasn't until After 2 o'clock in the afternoon that I called her after waiting to see if she was going to contact me that she finally said that she had the certificates and I could come pick them up. This delay has been detrimental because I needed these documents in order to get access to my dad's apartment and it's severely prolonged the process of closing out all of his final affairs. 3. My dad was never added to their website obituary announcements, which was a part of the any basic service at any funeral home. I ended up creating my own announcement in Canva similarly to how I made my own obituaries and sent it out to family and friends. Again, overall, Miss Gina and her team at the Home were supportive during my grief, but they could use some tightening up and improved professionalism. I wasn't sure if the unprofessionalism was because they knew me as a family friend, but if I were an outside patron, I would not be pleased with their service.
