The reason for the poor review because when needed to get repairs done to the tank of my motorcycle, I got the run around on when to bring it in, when the technician was going to be there yada yada yada!! My tank was eventually dropped off, for about a week and a half, I haven't heard back from them regarding the status or for a diagnostic or anything. I eventually called and was asked to come in. When I got there, I saw my tank was still sitting in the same spot it was sitting when it was dropped off more than a week ago. I took my tank with me and left! I felt it was never looked at and that the explanation I was given the day I showed up was a guesstimate on the possible problem. I was not feeling that at all.

The greatest part about my experience is when I brought my bike in, there was a crack near the indicator. When I got the bike back the crack was a fixed. I didn't ask them to fix it and only noticed it was fixed when I got home. They went above and beyond my expectations and I don't think I will ever take my bike anywhere else after this experience.

Both times I had the bike towed to HVMC and Steve and the crew were able to diagnose the issue and have me riding again incredibly quickly. Despite the issues not being their fault they went above and beyond to rectify the situation and make sure I was happy. READ THEM ALL Because this is exactly what you will get. They are not anecdotal; they are what you will experience. No communication, arrogant, etc. My own experience lined up 100% with the bad reviews, and I'm honestly relieved I never let them touch my bike. Here's what you should know: The staff is dismissive and disrespectful. When I checked in the very next day after dropping off my Ducati, the shop manager snapped back with, "You only dropped it off a day ago." That kind of attitude says it all. After 4 days, I was told they had a lot of "recalls" come in so it would be another 4 or 5 days, and there were two more bikes ahead of mine. Had I not reached out, my bike would have just sat there, and who knows how many other recalls would have come in? I guess "recalls" are the equivalent of "dog ate my homework". The reviews repeatedly point out that their work is hit or miss. In other words, you might not only get treated poorly, you MIGHT also get shoddy work done on your motorcycle. The positive reviews? I can't say for sure, who wrote them sine employees and family can also add reviews. I am not saying they did but, who knows? Be aware. Even their responses to criticism show the same arrogance. One answer to a customer complaint was, "It's Westchester, so it's expensive." Let's be clear: Hudson Valley Motorcycles is in Ossining. Ossining is not Scarsdale, it's not Bronxville, and it's certainly not some high-end part of Westchester that justifies inflated prices. This shop is only seven minutes from my house, but I would never step foot in there again. I'd rather drive an hour to a shop that respects customers and stands by their work. If you want to know how you will be treated for service, watch the Seinfeld episode of "Soup Nazi"! NO SERVICE FOR YOU! Appreciative of a high horsepower vehicle, I was actually excited to finally be here. Driving up the ramp to the main entrance, I was pleased with the front façade and ample parking lot. Upon entering the massive showroom, all I noticed were two floors of endless models. A motorcycle dealership is much different than a car dealership, as the showroom can fit, from my perspective, 100s of bikes. I didn't count but I know there were a lot. I was greeted hesitantly, though cordially and I replied that I was just browsing. As I moseyed along, the staff interactions were friendlier which I appreciated and made me feel comfortable. The showroom is well organized and laid out strategically. I tried to scope out the fastest which were staged mainly upfront. As well as the Three Wheelers always prominently posted on Jim C's page. These were displayed on the 2nd floor and in good company with other models. Matter of fact, a few Three Wheelers had SOLD tags on them. Obviously a popular model. A few Three Wheeler options I saw were very large as they included a comfy passenger seat and all the amenities one could fit into a single motorcycle. After getting my fill of the overwhelming display of options, I headed down towards the exit and noticed other women there checking out the displays. Cool. I've always had a need for speed but can't ride a motorbike myself. But if I did, I would consider cruising in a Harley.
