Strong Warning - Hudson Valley Motorcycles Please, before you even consider going to Hudson Valley Motorcycles, read the negative reviews. READ THEM ALL Because this is exactly what you will get. They are not anecdotal; they are what you will experience. No communication, arrogant, etc. My own experience lined up 100% with the bad reviews, and I'm honestly relieved I never let them touch my bike. Here's what you should know: The staff is dismissive and disrespectful. When I checked in the very next day after dropping off my Ducati, the shop manager snapped back with, "You only dropped it off a day ago." That kind of attitude says it all. After 4 days, I was told they had a lot of "recalls" come in so it would be another 4 or 5 days, and there were two more bikes ahead of mine. Had I not reached out, my bike would have just sat there, and who knows how many other recalls would have come in? I guess "recalls" are the equivalent of "dog ate my homework". The reviews repeatedly point out that their work is hit or miss. In other words, you might not only get treated poorly, you MIGHT also get shoddy work done on your motorcycle. The positive reviews? I can't say for sure, who wrote them sine employees and family can also add reviews. I am not saying they did but, who knows? Be aware. Even their responses to criticism show the same arrogance. One answer to a customer complaint was, "It's Westchester, so it's expensive." Let's be clear: Hudson Valley Motorcycles is in Ossining. Ossining is not Scarsdale, it's not Bronxville, and it's certainly not some high-end part of Westchester that justifies inflated prices. This shop is only seven minutes from my house, but I would never step foot in there again. I'd rather drive an hour to a shop that respects customers and stands by their work. If you want to know how you will be treated for service, watch the Seinfeld episode of "Soup Nazi"! NO SERVICE FOR YOU! Mechanical issues had me stranded and in need of a tow on 2 separate occasions (not the bikes fault it was due to mishandling at the dealership/ improper assembly after service). Both times I had the bike towed to HVMC and Steve and the crew were able to diagnose the issue and have me riding again incredibly quickly. Despite the issues not being their fault they went above and beyond to rectify the situation and make sure I was happy. Bought my first cylinder motorcycle here mid June 2020. I went from a BMW G310 to a Ducati Panigale V4S (big jump I know ) I couldn't be happier with my purchase first you can't beat their prices or customer service. My sales person was Teddy, he was patient and answered all my questions; at the time of delivery he was very detailed and helped me understand the electronics of the motorcycle. Well I won't be going back here I called to inquire about a battery for my quad, the guy told me they had it, I get there turns out it was for a different quad he says "same thing" ... it wasn't even close lol huge lack of knowledge then I was dealing with a lady who seemed like she hated her job, she ordered me the right battery but I didn't receive a call when it came in so I called a few days later and they had it so I came in and the lady threw a fit saying she called me and my voice mail box wasn't set up, she was completely rude called me a bastard and I told her no I didn't get a phone call but she said yes you did you didn't answer and she was crying like a baby about the voice mail box so she was being a smart ass and grabbed the phone to call me turns out she's had a listening problem and wrote down the wrong phone number ... after that she still continues her shit attitude, doesn't even apologize nothing, completely tried to degrade me not to mention all in front of my two year old son and wife who also didn't find her antics funny as she looked to her for validation in thinking I was wrong when she was the one who didn't listen in the first place. Also not to mention the whole situation was stupid because even if she had called me and I didn't answer/ have a voicemail box set up, people have lives and don't always answer their phone. Andrew was honest straight forward and just easy to deal with. When I showed up there were no games, no surprises in price and no nonsense. A couple saturdays ago I went inside and spent some time with Romy after listening to what he was explaining to a other possible customer, I knew I found my shop. He both was inquisitive as to what the customer was looking for and helpful by offering some possible next steps. Then it was my turn. Terrible Dealership, avoid at all costs. I had my tires replaced and after approx 60 miles I started sliding on the highway, managed to control bike and got onto the shoulder to find the axle had slipped out of the frame. The shop had not fully tightened the bolt when replacing the wheel and it slowly worked its way loose. I contacted the owner who could care less and made no attempt at an apology or indication that he would address with the mechanic. He told me that because the work was done over a year ago he was not responsible. That would make sense for say a battery replacement that went bad but wheel bolts don't just come loose on their own. I am lucky not to have had a major accident due to this shops negligence. read more

My experience with HVMC has been nothing short of stellar. I inquired about a Ducati V4S Corse on 11/1/19 and spent many nights exchanging emails with Duane about the bike. I visited the dealership to take a look at the bike and I was greeted by Duane who was extremely friendly, not pushy and attended and answered all my questions. I was coming from an 899 Panigale and Duane took the time to get an understanding of what my wants were in a motorcycle. He could've sold me the bike on the spot and be done with it. But instead Duane talked to me about the V2 and let me go home and think about it. I thought about it for a few more weeks and decided the V4S was the bike I wanted. Duane made the process so easy and seamless. I couldn't believe how straight forward the process was. This was my 3rd motorcycle and this was the most pleasant experience. All my emails were responded to within minutes! Duane was so helpful in explaining Ducati's warranty process and the cost to purchase the additional warranty instead of trying to push me to buy something I didn't understand or want. When filling out the paperwork I was speaking with Teddy in the back about my purchase and he new SOOOO much about the bike. NEVER have I met someone so knowledgable and so passionate about Ducatis. He even stayed with me an hour after the dealership closed to talk to me about all the feature of the bike. The excitement he brings with him made me super excited about buying a high performance motorcycle in the middle of winter. The day after Thanksgiving, Duane arranged for the bike to be delivered at my home because I was worried about the cold weather. He made it happen and even the delivery guy was excited for my purchase. When you buy a bike from this place you not only get the service but I got a stellar deal that you couldn't find across the entire country. I had a 2005 Yamaha FJR1300 with 27,000 milles serviced at Hudson Valley Motorcycles. Chris in service did all of the work. It was a major service including a valve adjustment, replacement of all fluids, air, oil filter etc. The result was outstanding. I rode the bike home last Friday and immediately noticed that the acceleration, responsiveness were vastly improved. As well, the transmission was much, much smoother than when I brought it in. Chris took care of everything that I had asked, and more -- he even tried to fix a broken 'glove box'...he went way beyond the call of duty. This is the worst place to do business with. They ripped me off for a tire that was not needed. When I complained they sent me an old beat up worn out tire they claimed was on my bike. I NEVER wait for my tires to wear down too much. I always replace them when my tires show 50% wear. My bike only has 2 tires and I cannot afford to lose one! What a bunch of rip off artists! They're not to be trusted. I brought my bike there with less than 1000 miles and was told I needed to replace my tires. I authorized them to do so with the understanding that I want my old tires returned as I cannot believe they're faulty. They changed my tires, charged my credit card hundreds of dollars and never returned my tires. The owner is awful and his son is worse! Don't walk away from this dealer ship. I recently bought an R Nine T from these guys. I got a good deal online, set up an appointment with Corey to test ride the bike and bought it a week later. All I paid is a $75 doc fee and a $25 temp tag fee. No crazy stupid charges other dealers impose on you. Corey was very pleasant, laid back and not pushy, while keeping in contact with me to gauge my interest after the initial test ride. When it came to picking the bike up, Dwayne helped with all the paperwork and once I made the payment had me out on the bike with the in transit tag in less than 15 minutes. He was super polite, organized and informative. This was probably my most seamless motorcycle buying experience (this is my 5th bike). I checked out their other bikes and they really have competitive pricing on a lot of bikes, plus a nice show room with a huge inventory of different makes and models. Amazing customer service. They picked up my Ducati 899 Pani and Ducati Hyperstrada on a Tuesday morning for Service, carefully loaded each bike without issue. By Friday the bikes were back in my garage. That's just the beginning. The 899 for basic service the Hyperstrada for initial break-in service. They not only changed all the fluids but also did some things that the bikes needed at no charge. Chris Henry, the mechanic, is very professional and thorough...he won't let the bike leave without making sure every ounce of it has been inspected. I've had my bikes serviced at other dealerships but never had an experience like this. Dwayne picks up and delivers on time without issue...makes you feel like you're the only customer.
