Horrible customer service at this location…read more On February 25th, I ordered a full set of tires through Amazon and scheduled installation at this Mavis location. I initially set the appointment for March 1st, then rescheduled it to February 28th, which Amazon confirmed. According to both Amazon and UPS, the tires were delivered on February 27th and signed for by someone named ALVAREZ. When I arrived on the confirmed date, I checked in for my Amazon appointment. The taller and bigger dude at the front desk immediately said, "We don't have any appointments for today." I showed him my Amazon confirmation, and the UPS delivery confirmation (which he didn't care to look at) for the tires. He repeated that they had no Amazon appointment scheduled for today and that the tires were not there, telling me to "talk to Amazon." I again tried to show him the UPS confirmation, and again he dismissed it without checking. He then asked for my phone number so they could call me "when the tires get there." Meanwhile, another employee checked the system and found my appointment -- but for the following day. I explained that I had rescheduled it to the day before and showed the confirmation. The response I received from the bigger guy was, once again, "Talk to Amazon." I've had a similar issue at another Mavis location, but there, the staff took the time to investigate, locate the tires, and complete the installation the same day. I have no doubt that if the staff at this location had made even a minimal effort, they could have resolved the issue as well. i gave up with these people and I just canceled the entire order through Amazon while standing in the store. I received a refund and purchased my tires elsewhere. To the front desk employee: if basic customer service isn't something you're willing to provide because you hate people, this may not be the right position for you.

I want to be fair - Mavis gets the work done quickly and the technicians are capable. However, my…read morerecent experiences have seriously damaged my confidence in their integrity. I came in with a slow leak in a tire with only 2,000 miles on it that I'd purchased here 4 months ago. I was immediately told it couldn't be repaired and that I'd need a new tire for $350. When I pushed back and mentioned I had just bought four new tires from them recently, suddenly the story changed to "we totally understand, we'll patch it up and you can be on your way." If the tire was patchable all along, why was replacement the first recommendation? This felt less like an honest assessment and more like testing whether I'd just accept the upsell. This isn't isolated either. On a previous visit, my wife was told she had a serious alignment issue that was "super unsafe." Tesla had just completed routine service with no such concerns flagged. Between these two incidents, it's clear there's a pattern of pushing unnecessary services on customers who might not know better. Quick service means nothing when you can't trust the diagnosis. I understand shops need to make money, but building long-term customer relationships through honest recommendations would serve them far better than what feels like exploiting people's lack of knowledge. I won't be returning, which is unfortunate because the speed and convenience would otherwise make this my go-to shop.

Here's something I don't say every day: I had a great experience at a mechanic. I usually do all my…read moreown work on my cars (and Motorcycles) because I HATE how most shops operate. Feels kinda weird actually having a good experience... but I have to give credit where it's due. Lube Express took care of me! I arrived at 8 am in the morning, and the owner came out to greet me. I was just here for an oil change, and he was able to get me right in. Some observations. When Mike, the owner, came out to talk with me, he was clean, well spoken, and professional. You can tell just talking to him that he's a straight shooter, and runs a tight shop. I sat in the customer lounge, which was clean, well organized, and actually smelled nice. The mechanic came out just once to verify my choice of oil, and didn't try to upsell me any nonsense. I hate when those other quicky-lube places try to tell me my PCV valve needs replacing, because "it's pretty dirty." Those amateurs don't even know what a PCV valve does, much less when it needs replacing. None of those shenanigans here. Another observation: You can tell these guys have their stuff together. I took a good look into the shop, and they have their tools laid out in a very organized way. The shop is also clean, even the floor. It speaks well of these guys. I appreciate an organized shop. All in all, this was a 5 star oil change experience. Nice Work Mike, Paul, and crew! I will be coming back for my next oil change!

Place is BS. I went on their website and they have an appointment site with 3 options and 3…read moreprices. No mention of whether it's for an American car vs a European car. Well when you get there it's a bait and switch. The $99.99 service I chose online turns out to be $200 because it's a European car. I was past due on the oil change and it was late in the day so I continued with the service because I didn't have many options at that point since I work during the week and won't be able to get it done for another week if I passed on it. This is exactly what they are counting on. Needless to say, I will not return there. No transparency in the pricing and once you're there they know it's 50% chance you'll give in because the appointment is made, you've driven there already and you need it done. That's just not cool whatsoever. I hate when businesses can't be honest from the get go. You lose my business plain and simple. I thought I was saving by not taking it to the dealer, but actually paid more. I should've just gone to the dealer service dept. The icing on the cake was having to sit in the waiting room listening to propaganda fox fake news. Definitely not going back.
