So yummy! And convenient to get to. Stopped here for some cheese slices because I was starving. It was so good. Speedy service and delicious pizza. I definitely recommend this place!

My ventures in upstate New York brought me to the humble yet charming town of Marathon. New York Pizzeria is smacked direct in the middle of the town and easily accessible to tourist or those driving by. It was a no brainier when we decided to pop in for a quick lunch on our way back to NYC. The small established offer the Pizza staples that one would expect, several pepperoni and cheese pizzas were ready-cooked so tourist can grab a slice on the run. We decided to order a whole Pizza and 15 minutes later were treated to a Chicken-Veggie pizza with a variety of topping. It was refreshing to see broccoli, belle peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, olives, and a handful of other vegetables on the pizza - yet a tad overwhelming. The cook was rather generous with the portion size, especially when considering that every inch of the pizza was covered with some, from chicken to a veggie. Unfortunately this lead the pizza to be weighed down to the point where it started to collapse in the middle when being eaten. Despite the technical difficulties, the ingredients and combination of cheese and sauce still made the pizza rather tasty and enjoyable. If I stop by again, I would go for the pepperoni. I doubt it will face the same problems.

This is a large pizza half pepperoni all black olives where are the olives?

Sadly the pizza is always soft and soggy in the middle when we order. Nice staff and a good amount of options on the menu.

Worst place I have ever been to. Literally a waste of money. So disgusting. Over priced for something that belongs in the garbage.

I have dined here several times without compliant. They offer more than pizza and have a full menu. Prices are decent too.

It was wonderful. :-) We came here with friends also parents from the team. Easy parking. Fast service. We sat upstairs - it was like our own private dining room. We got a couple of different pizzas and some salads. Everything was very good. Absolutely recommend.

We wound up parking a block away as they were pretty busy. You can dine in or take out. Table area was very clean. You place your order and they bring everything to your table. Service all around was excellent and smooth. Everyone went above and beyond. The kid got a small buffalo chicken pizza. I got a meatball parm sandwich. Meatball sandwich was very good. Quality of the meatballs was impressive. Sauce had a nice kick to it. They didn't cheap out on the amount of sauce or cheese. I made the right choice. I snuck a piece of the Buffalo Chicken pie. Chicken was on point. Nice size pieces. Not over powering with spicy sauce. Personal preference, dough was a little too thick for me, but again, that's my personal preference. Kid definitely enjoyed it. Boxed up a few slices for later on. A great alternative if you're in the area.

"Creative and whimsical" pizzas…read more Eta Pie in Ithaca NY was recommended by friends for some of their fun recipes, so we got several to-go for our contribution to a little gathering. We started off easy, with a Napoli red-sauce cheese pizza. It's made with the best San Marzano tomatoes and fresh basil, generous fresh-tasting sliced mozzarella, and a tasty tangy an Italian cheese blend. The red sauce was a traditional flavorful slightly sweet, slightly garlicky tomato sauce. All on a tasty thick-edged bready crispy-crusted soft-inside crust. It was a delightfully better-than-it-has-to-be cheese pizza. We thought the Palo Alto BBQ chicken pizza would suit us: richly flavored sweet lightly smokey BBQ sauce, mozzarella & smoked gouda, grilled chicken, and red onions. It was basically a flatbread. It tasted good, but to quote a guest, "it wasn't pizza" :-). Maybe it was the gouda that pushed it to the fancier edge. We struck out on our own with an olive and sausage red-sauce pizza. This was our favorite, due to the sweet bright fennel, garlic, black-pepper sausage, which surely tasted freshly home-made. Eta Pie has creative recipes and ingredients. Cheeses can incluse Gorgonzola, provalone, feta, paneer, Swiss, and ricotta. Sauces and drizzles include blue cheese, ranch, garlic butter, honey, pineapple-habanero, crema, mornay, pesto, herbed crème fraiche, masala, Korean BBQ, and a spicy red-sauce. Toppings include steak, carnitas, Black Forest ham, fried chicken, shrimp, clams, scallops, smoked salmon, bacon, bulgogi, caramelized onions, vidalia onions, jalapeños, broccoli, fried eggplant, spinach, artichoke hearts, kimchee, and even peaches! Meet the Eta Pie philosophy: creative culinary seriousness. Choose thoughtfully, and you will find excellence on a crust :-)

Another guy walked in and he did the same thing to him and the guy said thank you and the worker said nothing. It was very strange. The pizza somehow only tastes like a tomato, the cheese on both the regular and vegan pizza had no taste, the crust too, it all definitely needed seasoning. The bathroom was sooooo nasty and the toilet had something on it that I won't even discuss on here, just use your imagination, maybe the guy was mad about that?
